Kisses with Taehyun are, more often than not, sweet. A soft press of his lips on yours, a mumble of how much you mean to him, a brush of his thumb against your cheek.
He'll hold your face in his hands, squishing your cheeks so youll pout, then he'll kiss you, pouring unspoken words into it before he rushes off elsewhere.
A hand scratching at the back of your head while you lean against him, a chaste press of his lips to your forehead, his cheek then resting against the same spot he kissed.
Kisses strewn all over your face as he traps you in his arms, giggling amongst yourselves as he does so.
Taking your hand in his and lifting it to his face. Gently turning your hand, palm-up. A kiss between the palm of your hand and your wrist.
He'll lean forward when you ramble, only to cut you off with a kiss to your cheek, a sly smile on his lips as he leans back into his chair.
When you wrap your arms around his shoulders, a kiss to your neck and a gentle squeeze around your waist.
Other times, when youre feeling down, he'll simply lay down wirh your head on his chest, a long press of his lips against the crown of your head.
And on the occasion where he opens up about whats bothering him, he'll sit down while you stand between his legs. His arms brought up to wind around your waist while you brush your hands through his hair. After a moment, youll take his face in your hands, saying nothing but praises and reassurances, when he grasps at your wrists and tugs gently, letting you lean down so he can press his lips to yours in a silent 'thanks'.

a/n: this is purely self-indulgent since iâm currently on my period and tmi lol my own period is so so so so bad it puts me out of commission for more than a week sometimes and i have terrible symptoms but this is just me haha i wrote this with weak intentions under the guise of this being for me but if you enjoy it, then good đ„ș i hope u donât hate this or me heehee

YEONJUN
- oh you can bet heâs going to drop everything just to be with you even if his schedule has arranged something extremely important
- he only remembered it was hell week because he wanted to go out after work and was making plans and called you up
- but when u said no and u never pass up going out with him, it clicked
- âoh my baby has that time come again?â
- âyes jesus and donât put it that way, really thereâs no nice way to put it but yes im bleeding out and in painâ
- âiâll be right thereâ doesnât even wait for ur response, he just zooms to u
- as soon as heâs with you, he basically throws himself on you
- frantically checking you the way a mother cub does to her babies (heâs sooooo)
- at this point, youâre experiencing the worst of ur pain: shivering, writhing, crying silently, and everything that could hurt hurts â you tell him this much
- âbaby iâm so sorry oh no, weâll fix this i promise youâ he assures you, wiping your tears with his thumbs and his pout is so big you even feel bad for garnering such a frowny face on your lively and bright boyfriend
- he grabs an extra heating pad and slips it under your shirt so itâll be more in contact with you and tucks you in with a weighted blanket, settling a pillow under your feet and ensuring to his best capability that youâre as comfortable as can possibly be
- heâs frantic with it but keeps his facial expression calm
- he tries to kiss you to distract you, a little hopeful because he knows his kisses have an effect and as much as you do respond and reciprocate, he has to admit defeat when youâre basically crying
- yeonjun brews a tea as fast as he can, making sure itâs to your taste and blows at it as he spoons it into your mouth even though you tell him you can drink it yourself
- âhush, my love, you need to drink as much as you canâ
- he gives you a proper dosage of ibuprofen and massages your legs once youâre done
- once the main symptoms have calmed down enough that youâre not chattering your teeth, yeonjun sighs with false relief
- âglad thatâs over with, yn, it hurts to see you in painâ
- âoh, yeonjun, if only that were trueâ you say with a smile that turns into a laugh bc he realizesâŠ.
- he cuddles with you, like full on youâre lying on top of him, your head on his chest and heâs hugging you to him until you fall asleep
- when you wake up from the discomfort, you realize that 1, yeonjunâs in the kitchen because you can hear his singing from your bed and 2, youâve bled through and not just through your clothes and comforter but through your favorite blanket
- to say youâre heartbroken is an understatement - you washed it just days before and you had saved the last of your fabric softener just so it would smell good while you rot in bed for the week
- yeonjun returns from cooking the FIRST meal of the day to check on you to find you waddling around the room with your sheets balled up in your arms
- âooooâ he winces as he comes closer to you, running his palm over your forehead but when his hand moves to ur cheek, he feels the tears and heâs FREEZES
- he pouts and follows right behind you as you drop the blankets and covers to the washer
- âare you done following me aroundâ
- âabsolutely not!â
- while youâre already in the bathroom he knocks and lets you know that heâll be in the kitchen
- in the back of his mind he wants to be as close to you as possible and never leave your side but he knows that youâre sensitive during these trying times and with that side of the blade being emotional, the other is your irritability and thereâs a chance that you might snap and so might he
- but regardless he knows he at least needs to keep you eating and hydrated and rested
- he takes the period pain very personally
- however, while in the shower, one of your episodes befalls you
- this consists of you growing so terribly weak all over you canât even keep yourself standing, you get intense nausea, and it becomes so hard to breathe
- miraculously, youâre out of the shower but on the floor struggling and trying to dress yourself when yeonjunâs singing voice can be heard moving closer towards you
- he can hear you coughing and taking swift but shallow breaths and his singing stops
- âuh baby are you okay in there?â yeonjun sounds so worried
- it takes you a while to respond, trying to regulate your breaths because this happens every now and then, and itâs not like youâre going to pass out because youâve made it this far without passing out except that you have but ur not lucid enough to think right
- after a few minutes of complete silence, yeonjun musters up the courage to knock like crazy before cracking the door open to peek in
- long story short, he found you literally passed out but at least you were fully clothed but you were dripping wet đ hey but at least he managed to take you back to your bed and tuck you in
- yeonjun is worried scared sad and everything in between, even after you wake up and tell him that this has happened a few times before and itâs going to continue to happen
- poor thing
- the rest of the day goes by with you eating his home cooked meals, drinking lots of water and tea, walking around the house when the pain isnât bad, all while yeonjun does his best to not annoy you while heâs as clingy as can possibly be
- at night, heâs still pouting about it
- âyour frown is not gonna make it go away any quicker, junnieâ
- he presses the heating pad more against your tummy and sprinkles kisses your cheek
- âyeah but i can think of one way to make it go awayâ
- âoh, youâre going to hellâ
- yeonjun chokes with laughter, snuggling more into your neck, relieved and happy to finally see you not in pain and discomfort
SOOBIN
- soobin takes empathy to an entire new level
- this isnât his first rodeo, meaning not only is this first time experiencing hell week with you, but he thinks he understands enough
- but now that heâs lying on his stomach, his head on your torso, and youâre holding his hand in a bone crushing way (which by itself is saying a lot because his hands are huge and god forbid he were to hit someone, theyâd probably evaporate but anyway) soobin begins to think he canât even keep it together for the both of you
- the entire day somehow you manage to be fine or at least youâre not suffering, so you both had gotten through the day running errands but when you were about to go home, things took a turn
- and when things took a turn, it meant that you were struggling to brush off the pain of your cramps
- he tries to take your mind off of the pain by holding your hand or massaging your thigh but it doesnât work
- âjust stop trying, soobinâ you cry out and he tries not to take it personally but he fails to do so, retracting his hand and sulking about it
- once back home, you run inside instead of waiting for the other so you can walk in hand in hand
- sue him for being emotional! he spends the next few minutes trying to get himself to calm down and get himself to man up because the last thing you need, in these moments, is a very crybaby guy like him
- soobin enters your bedroom, apology on his tongue, when every other thought leaves because he sees you
- you look so tiny and helpless as youâre now in ur pjs, shivering, curled up on your bed and even with the dim lighting, soobin can see your face is wet with tears and sweat and ooh his heart is broken
- he feels worse but this isnât about him, he tells himself
- you have a fever, youâre cramping, and your muscles are terribly sore â you say that much to him when he asks whatâs wrong
- âare you sure this is just your periodâ he questions in disbelief, shuffling some blankets around so that they donât enable your fever and heâs stunned when you say that it is
- all his previous knowledge comes flying out the window and after ensuring youâve taken an ibuprofen and that you get a heating pad and you have a cold, wet damp cloth on your forehead
- he also makes sure to (just like the others) ask âwhere does it hurt?â and you tell him and he tries to rub and massage everywhere and even if your boobs are sore, you can tell thereâs panic in his eyes but heâs still like âdo you want me to massage there too đđâ
- and you let him, heâs really red but youâre like âit really does help, donât feel shyâ and that makes him go đŒ
- anyway after settling you down he also has one foot out the door, thumb hovering over his sisterâs number, the other foot in, spilling sweet nothings and reassurances, âif you need anything, i mean anything at all, honey, iâll be right outside, i love you yn, iâll come back to your side as soon as iâm done with this call i swear, okay? just hang in there, loveâ
- and as soon as he closes the door behind himself, he makes three separate phone calls: one to his sister, one to his mom, and another to taehyun, and they each take about five minutes each
- he messily writes down recipes that are given to him by his mom and taehyun, and he compares and contrasts your condition with his sisterâs, and by the time heâs done making such nervous calls, he realizes your condition isnât normal
- they tell him in some way or another that his panicking isnât helping your condition so whether he likes it or not, heâs really gotta pull it together
- taehyun is also really strict with him while talking him through each recipe and the light meal heâs making at the moment
- âhey no need to get too cocky tyunnie iâm still your hyungâ
- âhyung, youâre the one whoâs not being careful, your breadâs about to overcookâ
- taehyun: 1, soobin: 0
- eventually, he checks up on you and changes the washcloth on your forehead, peels off a thick comforter from you much to your dismay, and spoon feeds you medicine very quietly even if your favorite show was five times louder than anyone in the room
- while youâre napping, soobin bakes bread to calm himself down and hopefully by eating something yummy and warm, itâll help
- warmth is key to combatting your symptoms, which is contradicting because it is also the key symptom of your fever but he digresses
- youâre on your way back from the bathroom when you spot his big figure seated on the bed next to your spot
- heâs smiling warmly as he helps you back in bed and moving your hair out of your face
- âi made you some bread, yn, i hope you like itâ
- you eat pretty quietly and weakly and he begins to doubt himself until you lift your head with a smile that pulls him back down to earth
- âitâs delicious as always, thank you, soobin, i love youâ and you give him a smooch on his cheek
- how is he not supposed to swoon at that
- it takes a while but he joins you in bed and rubs your back up and down as you try a different position to lay in
- you two talk about nothing very quietly (even if you donât have to) for an hour or so and he makes you laugh a lot and it distracts you enough that the next wave of cramps surprises you and him
- your fever has subsided but youâre still chattering your teeth and shaking and he has to coax you to changing the way you guys are laying
- which brings us to soobin basically looking up at you from your hip, hot tears rolling down his cheeks
- why is that the person he loves most has to suffer like this for a week, a bit longer at times, and every month?! itâs madness!
- âwhy are you crying, soobinnie?â
- heâs sobbing with you as he tells you that he hates seeing you in pain
- the more you cry, the more he does, and even if he feels disappointed in himself for not being strong for the both of you, his insecure feelings dissipate when you tell him, after crying your eyes swollen and your heating pad has cooled and youâre no longer in pain, that it made you feel better: that he made you feel better.
BEOMGYU
- as infinitely caring and thoughtful and sympathetic as he is, beomgyu tries his best to keep up with everything and fails miserably but he tries his best nonetheless !! he has the biggest heart of anyone you could ever know after all
- to accurately describe how he feels about the entire ordeal is confused, angry, but guilty
- the night before work, while you guys were on a walk, you were complaining about cramps that would attack you every now and then but you paid them no mind so he just walked you back to your place and kissed you goodnight and went to sleep at the dorms leaving you alone (which was how you usually were but that didnât make leaving you easier)
- but of course when he was at work you texted him and told him that hell week had indeed commenced (really just to update him) and he was genuinely :0
- âgod im sorry sweetie but what exactly do you mean by hell week? canât imagine how bad it must be for you to call it thatâ
- (beomgyu can be also be quite naive bc his soul is pure)
- you try your best to explain how you get a little more than the regular cramping and bleeding and heâs horrified
- he comes straight to you once heâs done with his work and heâs still mortified about what you go through
- âi feel like you should go to the doctor for that kind of stuffâ he says quietly
- ânonsense, this is normal, now hand me the heating padâ
- he grumbles about it but decides on doing his best to distract you while you recover
- of course, itâs all a learning experience for him
- he tries tickling you at some point but you hit him too hard for his liking so he stops
- he just wants to hold you and make you laugh like always but you keep saying that youâre too gross but he doesnât buy it but he doesnât wanna budge so he stays đ
- youâre sprawled out on the bed weird and you have two pairs of socks on and youâre squeezing the heating pad to your tummy like your life depends on it
- thereâs a knock at the door and he gets it and comes back with a bag, telling you that he texted one of the guys to go to the convenience store and get you your favorite snacks and drinks and foods
- âbeomgyu whyâd you get me so much oh my godâ
- apparently he thinks people on their periods get cravings like pregnant people do and it was an innocent belief really but cmon
- you give him a big kiss one that makes him beam and visibly happy and tell him to thank whoever bought your stuff
- now that you gave him a kiss, it gives him a little courage to ask for cuddles to which you oblige with a little sigh
- youâre the one cuddling to him with your head, leg, and arm on his body and heâs rubbing your back mindlessly while you both watch the sequel to some movie and itâs going good â to him because heâs thinking âif this is how it always is, it canât be that badâ
- oh, beomgyu
- at one point, you ask to be covered with your blanket and he covers you up and while doing so, he feels firsthand how ice cold your legs feel and he screams
- âbabe i told you this happens itâs okayâ
- âyouâre like a corpse đđđâ heâs so distraught
- the angle that youâre laying in somehow manages to stretch your cramps and increase the pain so when they return, you have to retract away and youâre back to shaking, writhing, and near tears
- âmaybe if i make you something to eat youâll feel better â my mom told me if i ever took a pill or i was sick iâd feel better with a warm cooked mealâ
- and heâs said this to you before and heâs right but you tell him sadly that you donât have an appetite when youâre on your period and eating can make you nauseous at times
- he sighs and whines
- âthen you expect me to just sit here and watch you roll around in pain? i canât! you need to eat something i do not care what you sayâ
- and he walks out refusing to listen to you anymore he is upset! heâs upset that you canât eat even when you need to
- he brings you some water and a warmed up heating pad, trying to think of something to make you, and his anger returns when he sees you taking ibuprofen like crazy
- âthatâs enough!â he gives you a good scolding about how you shouldnât be taking so much medicine if you arenât eating and he does it all with a big pout
- even if heâs mad he doesnât yell or express it entirely on his face â the most heâll do is frown or sulk or be stern
- and youâre thankful because if he so much as raised his voice at you, youâd cry for eternity
- beomgyu calls soobin and poor guy answers with a sigh âhow can i help youâ since heâs been spammed with texts all day from him
- âcan you tell me how to make that thing you guys made for me when i was sick and i didnât want to eat but you guys made it for me anyway and it was really good okay i need you to tell me how to make it step by stepâ
- heâs panicking and soobin has to calm him down
- it takes soobin asking taehyun asking kai asking yeonjun for beomgyu to remember some of it and write down the rest of the recipe
- by the time heâs done and is coming in with the meal neatly arranged, youâre still grimacing and shivering, legs elevated on a pillow but wrapped up in your blanket
- he remembers painfully that what you experience is a bit abnormal
- beomgyu pouts and quietly calls your name so that youâre not startled when he approaches you
- he feeds you the meal little by little, even dabs your face with a napkin, and is ready to feed you the water too until you take it from him a little incredulously
- whole time while heâs feeding you though, heâs talking the entire time and his voice soothes you
- âi know youâve heard that story before and you must be wondering why iâm talking so much and i am, too, but i think itâs because i feel weird in charge but i like it, i want to take care of you more. i want you to let me because i love you, youâre so wonderful and cute and crazy and i love so much that you love me, tooâ
- when youâve eaten as much as you could, youâre already crying
- âoh no baby, iâm sorry iâm sorryâ heâs already thinking itâs because of the nausea and the cramps and your sore muscles like youâd told him earlier
- heâs already rising to either call soobin again or heat up some tea when you grab his wrist and pull him back
- âyouâre the sweetest boy in the whole worldâ you sob
- and it makes him smile but throw himself at you (in a restrained and safe way)
- he kisses your forehead and thumbs your tears away
- âyou look pretty when you cry, how lucky is thatâ
- everything he says is so dumb and sweet that even if it might make you feel worse, overall heâll always manage to bring a smile and laugh to you â that and many many more hugs and kisses and who are you to deny yourself that?
TAEHYUN
- letâs just say taehyun is as practical as he thinks he should be once he knows the facts because if itâs one thing he wonât stand for, itâs his yn in pain !
- taehyun goes to the convenience store late one night and calls you to see if you want anything and when u pick up, timidly but weakly asking for pads
- full world stop for him lol
- he asks exactly which type you need and that he can identify and get to the best of his ability and he even asks if you want anything else within the store
- he gets you literally everything you want (theyâre mainly beverages bc ur a very beverage person sorry u donât get a say)
- taehyun goes straight to ur place to see you, even calling the elders to tell him he wonât back until after tomorrow
- he holds you super tight to him, kissing your head and rubbing your arms, your back, tummy, and even your legs
- he massages your limbs while you drink ur favorite beverage and tell him how exactly you felt today
- u try to massage his biceps a little too and he smiles but reassures u that heâs okay
- he stays over for the night and while you eventually took a pill for the pain along with some tea taehyun made, u fall asleep at least for a little while
- he actually stays up to research how to help get you through the pain and hell week because every time is the same but different and itâs delicate (like you) bc ur condition isnât normal
- not even his limited knowledge from his experience with his sister could help
- taehyun lets you sleep in the next day, purposefully keeping the sunlight blocked until you wake up on your own
- âhey yn are u doing okay?â he smoothes your hair from your face
- âlet me know when ur okay to eat, okay?â
- of course, it isnât until a few hours or so after that he forces u to eat â he will not stand by ur lack of appetite
- he made u a decked out meal â your favorite as the main dish but with so many other sides of healthy stuff
- makes you eat every last bit even if you argue
- when u ask for sweets later, he tells you you canât have any since apparently, sweets actually make ur pain much worse
- âif you want something sweet, yn, i can make u a smoothie or i can buy some dark chocolate or get u some tropical fruitâ
- youâre basically đđ *eye twitch* but you say nothing bc hey he offered alternatives!
- he makes u drink tea constantly and u donât even like it that much so ur lowkey getting grossed out
- and you canât even begin to cover the amount of vitamins heâs making you take â mind you, theyre all gummies since he knows you prefer them but still itâs so many
- by the time itâs the afternoon you get a little deeper into your covers while binge watching tv and just as youâre feeling tired, taehyun calls for change of plans
- âcome on love letâs go outsideâ
- itâs actually not bad outdoors but he crosses the line when he makes you walk a walking trail at a local park without telling you and you feel gross and tired so ur mood is definitely đ
- âyn how are we feelingâ
- you glare at him
- deep down you feel horrible bc heâs going out of his way to take care of you and this is his way of doing so but it hurts so it feels torturous
- of course, the pain is merciless so about thirty minutes in it returns at maximum strength and as embarrassing as it is, you go from weeping to sobbing quietly unable to walk or move anymore and it must look funny but scary but weird
- âyn come on itâs not so bad is it! thereâs no need to cry if u truly donât want to walk â ohâ
- âtaehyun it hurts im not crying bc im that big of a baby oh god u think im a big baby đâ (dramatic/exaggerated)

- homie ends up having to take you into his arms and help walk you back to the car so u can go back home
- you take an ibuprofen in the car but it doesnât work so ur just sniffling and crying itâs literal agony
- taehyun thinks u hate him and he feels so bad but honestly u canât tell since he keeps it together so well
- he helps you inside and makes some more tea, offering one last ibuprofen and getting your heating pad, fluffing your pillows and he tucks you in
- you wake up from a little nap to see him fixing your blanket and surprised at the pain that isnât killing you
- he really did help you đŁ
- taehyun comes in with another tea set and is trying to be as quiet as possible until he hears you call out his name
- the way his eyes search for yours and the way he smiles when his eyes find you
- he sets it down and sits beside you, rubbing your cheek with his thumb as he cups your face
- âhow are you feeling, yn?â heâs whispering
- you take his hand into yours and press a kiss to his palm. itâs there you apologize for giving him such a hard time when all he was doing was literally helping
- he refuses to hear it, giving you a tight hug and kissing your cheek
- âanyway if youâre ready to eat i made something light and if not, then how about you try taking a hot bath huh?â
- âoh god you think im stinkyâ a tear literally rolls down ur cheek
- âYN NO COME ONâ
- but ur just kidding, the tear worked bc of how easy it is to trigger ur emotions from the hormones
- âiâll try a hot bath first if thatâs okay, tyunâ you say and he gives you another kiss
- âlet me set it up for youâ
- âyouâve done enough for me today, enough so that it doesnât hurt. thank you. i donât know where iâd be without you.â
- after the bath you eat what he made, make sure he eats, you help clean the kitchen, and the night is easing up until around midnight it starts to hurt again, and youâre back in his arms in bed and trying not to cry
- taehyun presses the heating pad more to your lower abdomen and holds your hand a little tighter â even that much (the knowing heâll be right beside you) is enough to help the pain die down just by a degree or so
HUENINGKAI
- kai knew his way around the basics of hell week because of his experience with his sisters, but of course, his knowledge could only get him so far when he wanted to take care of you, and you were essentially worst case scenario
- even though this isnât his first period with you (which he thinks is funny bc heâs been with you long enough that periods are almost important as anniversaries) each one is different and heâs not a fan
- the one thing thatâs the same is that youâre always in agony and he wishes that he could do more
- âdo you wanna hold my hand, angel?â kai whispers
- itâs early in the morning and you could hardly sleep because of the discomfort of your cramps even if kai was basically clinging to you throughout the night
- youâre turned away from him, legs sprawled out and holding your heating pad-plushie to your abdomen, sniffling weakly at the pain
- kai was already ready for the day but he wasnât sure why but he just had a feeling this was going to be an all day thing and he was right
- he was on edge the entire day even after you told him so many times you were going to be like this all day and for a few days but he felt it was his duty to be by ur side so he was COMMITTED
- halfway through he realizes like every time this isnât for the weak
- âkai you really can just go home im just going to be crying or sleepingâ that did NOT make him feel better
- true to ur word, you stayed in bed the whole day and would only get up to go to the bathroom every now and then
- sometimes heâd help you walk bc ur legs are very very very sore when ur on ur period
- while heâs walking you he shakily goes âi just wanted to tell you that ur really beautiful and i love youâ
- âkai im not dying u donât have to make a lasting confessionâ
- âbut itâs the truth đâ
- nothing relieves HIM of his worries
- calls lea asking all these period questions and all anyone can hear is âis it normal forâŠ..â and âhyuka im not a doctorâ
- but really he asks for advice at least and he really realizes that your condition isnât normal
- lea has to snap him out of it
- âyouâre not on ur period, yn is!!â she scolds gently and gives him tips before ending the call
- he calls bahiyyih too to ask for her input and oh ! u guessed it â she says the same thing !
- he buys you takeout and brings it to ur bed, arranged in a very cute way, and he brings you vitamins too
- while ur both watching some sad movies, heâs so into the thought that you have to go through this every month that he starts crying
- âhyuka this isnât even a sad part whatâs wrongâ
- and he tells you
- and you cry a little because heâs so sweet
- âbut yeah i die for like a little more than a week straight isnât it greatâ
- needless to say, kai did not like that sarcasm
- kai at some point calls yeonjun to bring some of his plushies over to your place so youâd feel better even though that was more for his sake â he liked to think they were better protection and security
- yeonjun brings them in a big basket and even stops by to check on you, bringing by some soup since even his mom was worried so sheâd instructed him to make food
- you and kai called yjâs mom and chatted on the phone for a bit to which yj sulked after a while âcan i have my mom backâ
- the plushies surround you on your bed and again when the actual pain comes you either squeeze one to your chest or you hug kai to ur chest â either or, theyâre both cuddly and comforting
- most importantly, the whole day, he gives u tummy rubs like the entire day and he loves it probably more than you do, sometimes patting your belly then rubbing and then heâll change it up and announce âoooh counterclockwiseâ and he goes in a different direction itâs all so endearing and comforting
- once itâs night, he makes sure thereâs water or tea on the nightstand and tells u to wake him up if u need him and he knocks out soundly, his head and arm draped over ur chest and tummy â it was a long day even for him :( but itâs not over for him unless itâs over for u

he pouts in response. "you didn't answer my question. did you eat today?"

âof course, but firstâŠ. cuddles!!â he yells and, without warning, he picks you up and carries you to the living room all while you shriek in his arms for him to put you down.
beomgyu finally sets you on the couch where sure enough, some takeout and some boba are waiting across from you on the coffee table. but before you can even reach for the food, he flops on top of you and wraps his arms around your torso, nuzzling his face into your neck in the process.

"I love you," Beomgyu mutters, sighing as he wraps his arms around you even tighter.

Beomgyu hated how busy heâs been recently, mostly because it meant he hasnât been able to see his wonderful girlfriend. He just wanted to see you, it was all he could think about. He wished he had more time to talk to you, but it always seemed that he was busy when you were free, and you were busy when he was free. The boys were having a short water break during dance practice, and he heard a noise indicating that you texted him. And yes he has a specific notification sound for you, which Yeonjun and Kai loved to make fun of. He was so excited when he read your text, asking if you could maybe come over to the dorms after work. He didnât want to let himself get too excited about seeing you (even though he was totally freaking out), because you did say maybe. He knows how busy you can get with work, and can empathize, but he really wanted to see you.
It wasnât until Beomgyu heard a knock on the door of the dorm followed by your voice, that he realized how much he missed you. He practically jumped off of the couch, pushing Taehyun and Soobin out of the way and ran down the hallway towards you. you mumbled under your breath as your boyfriend, beomgyu, tried to jumspcare you using a creepy doll mask bought at a dollar store a year before for the fourth time this night.
you were busy washing the dishes, as it was your turn to do them that day, and he seemed to be very interested in pissing you off. beomgyu was definitely the type to do that; he always loved teasing you and getting a reaction out of you in various ways, one of them being scaring you to death.
to your surprise, the brown haired boy heard your silent complaints, and it got him to think. so, after a short while, he decided to try a bit of a different approach to his doings.
he took the mask off and quietly sneaked into the kitchen without you noticing, now standing right behind you. in a quick, sudden movement he wrapped his arms around you, making you jump in fear at the contact.
"choi beomgyu, you're dead!" you screamed the moment you realized he got you yet again, swiftly getting out of his grip and splashing him with water from the sink. the boy dramatically fell to the ground, acting as if he was just brutally threatened by someone.
he looked at you with an offended look on his face, pretending to be hurt by your actions. "how could you do this to your incredible amazing super handsome fantastic boyfriend?" he asked with an overly expressive tone, just to add some drama to the scene.
"well, it's my dear incredible amazing super handsome fantastic boyfriend who's been making my chores ten times harder for me that started all of this, so he shouldn't be the one getting annoyed here" you answered him, deciding to speak in a tone just as dramatic as his.
"maybe your incredible amazing super handsome fantastic boyfriend just wanted to cuddle his incredible gorgeous wonderful beautiful partner?" he said, a pout forming on his face. you smiled at the comment, lending beomgyu a hand to help him get up, which he accepted, throwing away his dramatic act.
"if you wanted cuddles, you could've just asked" you said as you hugged your boyfriend, planting a small kiss on his cheek. he turned to you, a bright, wide smile on his face, as he started peppering your face with kisses in response.

[ 6:27am ] the muffled sound of piano reached your ears as you began to wake up.
stirring in your bed and noticing the lack of your boyfriend and the duvet nearly falling from the bed, you realised itâs him playing the instrument.
moments later, after putting on one of his hoodies you and leaning against the doorway, you watched his silhouette.
kai was playing the piano that was standing in your living room. the morning light peeking from behind the window made his pensive face look even more ethereal.
you sighed quietly, coming up to him. the music played by hueningâs slender fingers softly began to fade out. whilst placing your hands gently on his arms, you pecked a tender kiss on top of his head.
"what are you doing up this hour?" you hummed and kai stopped playing. as he did so, the birds that were singing outside made you realise it must be earlier than you thought.
"couldnât sleep" kai whispered and placed his hands on top of yours
"we can cuddle if you want. letâs not disturb neighbours, love" you chuckled tiredly, letting the lack of sleep win when you let out a yawn right after.
your boyfriend couldnât turn such offer down. before you realised you were back in bed, tangled in the duvet and his arms.

yeonjun unlocked the door to your shared apartment, balancing the flowers he received in one hand, and a bag filled with dishes in the other. he managed to get inside without dropping anything, and looked around the place only to be met with emptiness.
"y/n?" yeonjun called, as he set down everything on the table. "y/n??" he called again with no answer. he walked over to the bedroom, and the door was open.
did she step out for a moment? he thought curiously and headed for the room.
"y/n-" he started again then stopped in his tracks with his hand on the doorknob when he finally spotted you. you were fast asleep on your shared bed, your hair laying in a cloud around you as your laptop lay on your side, while the drama you were watching still played softly in the background.
yeonjun had to press his lips together to keep himself from laughing at the sight, because the way you slept was... interesting. your legs were tangled in the sheets and your arms were thrown over your head, as if someone had told you to put your hands up. he tip-toed into the room as quietly as he could until he reached the bed and smiled fondly.
he shut your laptop softly before reached down for the sheets in an attempt to tuck you in but as soon as he tried to untangle your legs from them, you stirred and moved onto your side. he gave up quickly, and instead opted to sit on the ground to watch you for a moment. he rested his arms on the bed slowly and lay his chin on his hands to admire your sleeping form.
your chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm and your face looked so relaxed, so at peace that it made yeonjun feel warm all over. you were beautiful and yeonjun had to restrain himself from pressing a quick kiss to your parted lips, for fear of waking you.
you stirred suddenly and stretched a little as you slowly opened your eyes. you blinked, a bit startled and disoriented at seeing yeonjun in front of you.
"jun?" you say groggily. "you're back."
he simply smiles in response and continues to watch you. he reaches an arm to tuck a stray piece of hair behind your ear and lets his hand rest on your cheek. you blink up at him a few times, since he still hasn't spoken. "... yeonjun?"
"how are you this perfect, my love?"
you laugh at his sudden words as you felt the heat rise to your cheeks. "perfect?"
he nods as his thumb starts to caress your cheek softly. "you are perfect."
you roll your eyes. "whatever you say jun." you stretch your arms again and then look at him with wide eyes. "oh right! you just came back from your mom's place! how was it? how is she doing?"
he grins and stands from his spot, only to plop down beside you on the bed so that you're both facing each other. "it was nice, though i'm starting to think she likes you more than she likes me."
you giggle and start to run your fingers through his hair. "oh yeah?"
he pouts. "yeah! when she saw that it was only me who came over she looked so disappointed and wouldn't stop asking about you. 'how is y/n?' 'where is y/n?' 'why didn't you bring her?' 'i miss y/n'." he shakes his head dramatically. "she didn't even care about me."
you smile before you wrap an arm around his waist to hug him. "aww don't worry jun. you're her one and only son of course she loves you more. but i don't blame her for loving me the most."
"oh?" he says with a playful glint his eyes, before he starts to tickle your sides. "it's me who loves you the most!"
"y-yeonjun!" you say between laughter as he continues to tickle you.
"who loves you the most, y/n?" he sing-songs.
"okay, okay! you love me the most!" you say breathlessly and he stops finally to let you breathe.
"but seriously," he says after you catch your breath. "she always asks about you and talks so highly of you. she always tells me that she can't wait for you to be her daughter-in law, as if she doesn't already refer to you as her daughter. my mother absolutely adores you."
you can't help but feel a little emotional at his words and bury your face in his chest. "you're gonna make me cry stop it." you mumble and he wraps his arms around your waist and kisses the top of your head.
"it's true baby, how can someone not adore you?" he rubs his fingers comfortingly along your waist. he stops suddenly and sits up slightly. "oh my god, i almost forgot!"
you look up at him in confusion. "what?"
"my mom made some food for you! and we got you flowers together!!" he says excitedly as he starts to rise from the bed.
you look at him, touched as you feel your throat tighten with emotion. he stops to hold his hand out to you. "c'mon babe!"
and all you can do is smile as you eagerly take his hand.
