This shit was revolutionary for the mid-90s. Among other things it helped me understand that transgender and cross-dressing were completely separate things.
@milfiepumpkin Thank you for your gracious permission. @riorothbates Thank you for your enthusiasm. BAMFJohn. It’s sweet and cuddly and I won’t apologise :p.
John! John! John! Sherlock paced around the alleys looking for his partner. He was looking but barely seeing as his body was too tense, his mind tried to stay calm because there was no way anything could have happened to John. They had separated to hunt the suspect but neither the suspect nor John were where Sherlock had predicted they would be. “Watson!” Was yelled from another alley and Sherlock raced towards it.
He ran around the corner and gave a breathless chuckle, John was fine, a bit dusty in the trousers but very very fine. He casually led a man half a foot taller than himself to Lestrade in an expertly applied arm lock and was handing the suspect over when Sherlock caught up. The suspect was very dusty from his meeting and Sherlock observed with a proud smirk that John must have introduced him to the floor with considerable force as his clothes were a mess and his chin was grazed. Sherlock settled in beside John and basked because his conductor was luminous with victory as he calmly explained Sherlock’s own deductions and Sherlock watched John’s rigid military posture as he gave his report to a very happy looking Greg. He wanted to melt into John’s skin, his fantastic John.
Sherlock caught Lestrade’s grin and returned it before he observed that the DI wasn’t grinning at him or at John but rather at the rapidly diminishing space between them. Sherlock had been inching closer as John spoke, and as John gestured, and as John glowed in his understated military way so he gave up and pressed himself against John’s side treading their fingers together. He returned the squeeze John gave his hand. “I’ll come in and make my statement Greg” Sherlock muttered, he could not take his eyes off the man beside him so Greg’s snort of surprised went completely ignored.
The Yard was not as boring as usual when people were making much of John Watson so Sherlock quietly wrote out his statement and watched John’s ears tinge pink as everyone praised him. He would need to get John home soon before phone numbers wound up in his pockets again. John always chucked them in the fire place anyway and his polite refusals had taught them not to approach him directly but Sherlock always felt a twinge, John had so many options but still choose him so he took a deep breath and wrote a bit faster.
A cab expedited the trip back to 221B and a quick text saw take away to their door almost quicker than the taxi. After dinner Sherlock followed John’s instructions to strap his shoulder which had taken a knock in the tackle before pulling John to bed about an hour early claiming he needed his post-case crash and could not sleep without his John.
He woke almost half a day later as the sun was rising and John was glowing again, but this time golden sunshine highlighted John’s lingering tan and Sherlock couldn’t stay away. He nestled up to John’s firm chest and slid his arm under John’s hips. His thigh went over John’s legs and his left hand went questing for the hem on John’s tee-shirt and up pressing skin to skin before he sighed happily. John. John. John.
John buried his nose in dark curls, Sherlock was winding down his post-case wrap up in the usual fashion by wrapping John up in himself. “Don’t you have a pillow?” He teased the sleep warmed curls and pressed Sherlock’s head into his shoulder, it would be strained again but Sherlock would always rub it out for him. “My side of the bed is boring" was mumbled to his clavicle so John held on tightly as Sherlock’s breathing slowed again. He would make breakfast later and Sherlock would finally eat something beside biscuits and the halved pieces of John’s toast. John sighed happily, yes breakfast, just as soon as they finished their nap.
“John! You ready yet?!” Greg adjusted the hemline of his top in the mirror for the fifth time, nervous like he hasn’t been in a while. This night had to go perfect if he was finally going to get his man, but John, who had gone into the bathroom half an hour ago, was taking his bloody time sorting his hair out.
“John! Come on, man. We’re gonna be late for fuck’s sake!” Greg stalked over to the bathroom and pounded his closed fist on the door furiously, beyond anxious to get going now.
“Alright, Alright.” John shouted back cheerfully, “I’m coming, keep your lace panties on.”
Greg flushed. ‘How did he always know when I’m wearing them?’
Greg had unconsciously chosen his lucky knickers to wear tonight, and somehow, John had known that Greg was wearing his favourite baby pink, lacey, French cut knickers under his skin-tight, ripped, black skinny jeans, which he had paired with his most flattering hot pink crop top.
Greg sighed and rested his forehead against the door for a moment, before turning towards the front door and sitting on the bench which housed the shoes, to put his best pair of black heels on. Six-inch stiletto. Made his arse look delicious, he’d been told.
Finally, the bathroom door opened with a bang, John racing about the living room picking up his wallet, keys and phone, before falling onto the bench beside Greg, shoving his feet into his combat boots and tucking his laces in by his ankles.
Declaring himself dressed, he jumped up, slapped Greg on the shoulder and raced out the door after opening it.
“Come on Greg, the cabs here!”
Greg shook his head, stood up and sauntered towards the cab after locking the door.
20. Club // a 442B Johnlock Ficlet for @fluffbruary 2022
From his spot at the bar, John keeps a careful eye on Sherlock. He almost looks like a different person: it’s not just the clothing; he’s putting on a whole other persona, affecting a bashful, teasing demeanour as he makes conversation with a fit twenty-something. But John knows better: the man Sherlock is talking to is dangerous, and their primary suspect.
It’s not the first time they go undercover - night clubs are venues of choice for individuals with questionable intentions - and he knows it’s all for show. And yet, he can’t help it: a surge of jealousy makes his jaw clench.
Under the pretence of getting another drink, Sherlock is now turning away from the other man and towards the bar. John’s cue to act unassuming, as though they were meeting for the first time.
“One Gin & Tonic, please,” Sherlock orders at the counter.
John scoots closer to him. “Hello, pretty.”
“Hello to you,” Sherlock replies, still acting fairly uninterested.
“What’s someone like you doing here, all alone?”
“I’m not.” Sherlock shoots a glance back at the suspect, making sure he’s being observed; the double meaning is not lost on John, though. “But I could use some better company.”
“Let me offer you this one, then.” John slips a note to the barista.
“Are you hitting on me?”
“Clearly, I am. Would be a fool, not to.”
His drink collected, Sherlock takes a sip from the straw and leans his back against the bar, as if he’s planning to linger some more with his new acquaintance.
“Well, I don’t think my boyfriend would agree.”
John chuckles. “Oh no. Don’t tell me you’re taken already.”
“And he’s quite the possessive one, too. If I were you, I’d watch out.”
“Oh, really?”
“I’d say so, yes. You see, he’s a doctor… but he’s had bad days.”
John laughs in earnest. Pretending to flirt comes all too easily, between the two of them.
“I bet he worries constantly about you, gorgeous as you are. Make heads turn, don’t you?”
“Trust me, he’s got nothing to worry about: no one can compete with him.”
John is quite sure he’s blushing now, no pretending needed. Thank goodness for the dim lighting.
“John, he’s watching us. Touch me.”
Sliding one hand up to rest on Sherlock’s waist, John speaks into his ear: “Let’s wrap this up quickly and get back home soon, shall we?”
Over John’s shoulder, Sherlock’s eyes flit to the dance floor: the suspect’s headed into their direction, surely with the purpose of claiming his conquest back. On his face, the look of a predator.
“Wish granted: he’s on the move.”
“Ready?”
Sherlock nods. “Into battle.”

iPad Pro in Procreate (new tab for High Res)
WHEEEE I can’t stop playing in Procreate!! I’m so happy that I got it and my iPad… I am drawing so much more than I used to, and it’s just filling me with so much creativity again. Makes me very happy!!
I decided right away to get a head start on my 2021 Johnlock Halloween pic as soon as I could, because historically, I’m scrambling to finish all of my holiday pics RIGHT up until the night before, hahahah. Surprisingly though, I got this done during the week of downtime I had between contracts, and I was shocked I finished it in about 2 days… which NEVER happens.
This was more of an experiment again with brushes and colouring in Procreate, and I am happy with how it turned out! Not an original idea for the boys this year, but I decided to once again go with Werewolf John and Vampire Sherlock, who is also a mage, I guess. I just REALLY wanted to do a big glowy staff, hahahha. I had a tonne of fun with this one! This was I think my third pic I did on the iPad? Yeah! So it’s still me learning my way around Procreate, hahah. It’s a bit dark so I need to learn to balance the colours better, but overall, I like it.
Happy Halloween Everyone! Hope this was worth the wait <3
I might be late to the Witcher party but at least I got here.
I'm dedicating this drawing to @dinahdarling because her amazing blog and ao3 account have been the gasoline to the dormant embers of my Witcher fandom.
So the trailer for The Witcher season 2 came out recently together with this new promo pic of Jaskier and I was reminded of this drawing I made when season 1 was out and the fact that I desperately need to draw Jaskier again.
Harry Potter AU in which Fred and George are in different houses and they steal and wear each others ties whilst doing stupid things in hope of the others house losing points
AU where Fred and George are in different houses and they get their hands on house ties from the other two houses as well. By the end of their first year nobody knows which house either of them is in and just take points off a random house whenever they see a redhead getting up to something.
The confusion runs so deep by the time Ron starts that Snape once takes points off Slytherin for Ron fighting with Malfoy.
There’s a few months in Fred and George’s second year when they successfully convince most of the school that they’re actually quadruplets, one in each house.
After this confusing quadruple mess, a conspiracy theory emerges that Fred and George are actually just one person, and there were never any Weasley Twins. To add fuel to this theory, Fred and George make a point to never be seen together (publicly).
When asked about this theory, Fred/George subtly insinuates that he used Polyjuice Potion so that there could be multiple versions of himself at once. This goes around the Hogwarts Rumor Mill like fire. The Weasley family says nothing to dispute it, not even Percy.
Percy makes polyjuice successfully for the first time in his fifth year, when he finally has sufficient motivation. Fred, George, Edward and Hubert walk into the great hall one morning, identical but for their school ties, and the chaos is so great that nobody realizes Percy and Ron are missing.
For those wondering how I do the more ‘photorealistic’ digital paintings, well it’s something like this.
The video is just under 2 hours of work, there was an extra 15-20 minutes after finishing recording when I realised I wasn’t happy with the finished product and tidied some bits up, but this is the vast majority of it.
