247yoori:
Yoori rarely raised her voice, especially in a professional setting but the audacity of Minseok challenged this standard she held for herself with every interaction between them. Why couldn’t be play nice and stay out of tabloids? Better yet, why was he gone for so long without a word about when he would return and now he was spatting about how he felt offended.
“That is easy for you to say, since you have all the secret plans that will all ‘work out’ as you say.” She was sitting still but she felt herself rise slightly at his protests and aggravation, “but see it through someone else’s eyes for once, what am I supposed to say to the crew and the other actors who ask about you daily and worry constantly?” She inquired her voice still low in volume but shaky, “Should I tell them that despite my authority I know nothing about your plans or your thoughts because you refuse to share them and I’m just hostage to the whims of a musical actor? Do you think that would reassure them?” It was even more frustrating taking in account that less people were showing up because Minseok’s name was no longer on the roster and she felt the debt with Jongin creeping in.
“Who asked you?” The words came as soon as he confessed, her body visibly shaken as she now looks at him her eyes wet from the tears that threatened to fall any moment now. “WHO ASKED YOU TO DO THAT?” She screamed at him, her voice no longer relaxed and in control, Minseok took on this heavy burden for Ablee and her when never consulting either about this difficult decision. “Why couldn’t you just fucking depend on your talent that you would win?” Her voice was still loud and she thanked god that most of the cast had probably left for lunch by now. “FUCK!” She slammed her hands against the desk before walking away, “your just gonna take the bullet by yourself huh? Did you ever think of how it would reflect on Ablee despite your best efforts?” Her throat burned at this point, exhausted from the lies that seemed to seep into every part of her life. She thought she was safe at work, but obviously not. “Why…minseok why?” She whispered her head in her hands, unable to look at her star. “Why would you do that?”
She did have a point however Minseok had to quiet so informaiton about his show was leaked. He wasn’t the only one calling the shots, their were investors involved and they had a say in how things went. Minseok hated that fact but without them the tours wouldn’t even have happened. Did Yoori completely forgot the fact the play he was in now was bringing in a wider crowd!? It wasn’t just adults or people who were in the theater scene, but people their age and younger, music fans, etc. He was quiet at the mention of his co-workers yes they did worry but also had a hint of jealousy in their voices when speaking about them. The man knew he could be difficult at times but he shouldn’t be the only one giving his all while others were slacking off. Minseok could tune out the pressure of his life and just focus on the play, in some ways the other actors were lucky they weren’t in the public eye like he was. Yoori’s voice boomed so loud it caught him off guard, did anyone else hear that? Minseok had a million reasons. . .he was tired of the place not getting it’s recognition, tired of the other actors worrying about bills and just getting by. Maybe it was in his nature to always be the sacrifice and not complain about it. He had a heavy burden on his shoulders and he couldn’t no he wouldn’t let his mistakes be used to hurt others. His eyes shifted down for a moment before piecing his reply together. “I did it. . . .because awards bring in crowds. I wasn’t new but a lot of people didn’t know me. I was the underdog. You know who I was up against there was no way I was going to win on my own.” Minseok paused,” I didn’t come for self pity. I can’t take back what I did, you know it’ll be a frenzy once this gets out. Albee can’t take that hit. This isn’t the opera house.” Seeing her so defeated made his heart wrench but he had to stand tall, guess him coming back was a no now. He understood. Yoori had no idea how dirty his father was. Hell even he tried to block out the things he did know, Minseok had to cut as many ties as possible because when hings got serious less people would get hurt. He was sure saying anything more would just make things worse and he made his way to the door. This was the last time he would be in this building. Minseok didn’t want to look back at Yoori, he wondered if Jongin made her feel this way and that’s why she was rough when talking to him. Like they acted the same. Minseok turned to face her“Yoori. .. I’m not going to ask for forgiveness. I got to own the trouble I caused. I did enjoy my time here.” he got on his hands and knees and bowed deeply, “Thank you.” He stood up and reached for the door nob, everything felt like it was moving in slow motion now. Was she going to say something or just let him go!?
Ummm - Minseok and Jiyong
247jiyong:
When Minseok started to lead him, it was like going down the rabbit hole. They had just entered, so he was vaguely aware of what he was ought to expect from the place brimming with pleasant frenzy, though as they were getting further and further, piercing through the extremely tight crowd, Jiyong was becoming even more convinced the night wouldn’t be like any others. It would be way wilder and more memorable, unless he would get wasted enough not to remember the littlest bit of it. Rarely would he choose isolation over being in such a packed warehouse, which in his eyes was already topping all the clubs he had ever gone to thanks to its peculiar ambiance that was easily fuelling his excitement.
Having his gaze glued to Minseok unceasingly not to lose him among the uncountable party animals, suddenly the tune blasting from the speakers gently spread a pensive expression over his face as it seemed too familiar for him not to recognize it right away. The other male was no stranger to the resonating song, what was more delighting for Jiyong than the beloved melody itself. “I travel the world and the seven seas… Everybody’s looking for something…” Singing along blithely, he slightly inched towards Minseok. “Indeed, this feels like a dream.” Raising his voice over the loud music, he stated with a genuine grin.
The first night they met was filled with chaos or more so a need to get away. Minseok felt with Jiyong he could be free. He didn’t have to watch his back or check to see if someone was around to catch him slipping up. It helped that the other man understood where he was coming from. Their worlds were different but somehow the same. Minseok had heard the rumors about him but didn’t hold them too tightly. He knew what it was like to be judged without knowing the full story. Without warning when the other came close to him he tensed up unsure of what he would too. He laughed a little to cover up his reaction. “Oh Mr. DJ can sing too?” he teased,”I didn’t know that.” He moved closer to Jiyong to keep an eye on him, though he was having fun he had to be mindful to not lose him in the crowd. With so many people there he wasn’t worried that anyone would spot them. Minseok rolled his eyes at the possible headlines that would come out of this. The next faded in from the last one and he took Jiyong’s hand. “Hey I want a drink.. .but no at the bar. Follow me.”

Breaking News
During the welcome ceremony of Kim Minseok becoming the new CEO of KT, LLP, he made a surprising statement saying he would not accept the position citing a lack of experience. It was also revealed that he will be leaving Albee Theater as well. When clarification was asked there was no answer and Minseok was escorted out of the room.
The Oven - Minseok and Kyungsoo
247dksoo:
it was just his luck, kyungsoo thinks, as he pulls on his son’s hoodie, making sure it kept the little kid’s ears hidden from the cold. the kid had obviously fallen in love with snow, and because deep down, he knows he wouldn’t be able to deny his son anything, he had dressed up kangwoo extra warm. they were supposed to enjoy a short walk together so kangwoo could stare in wonder at the snow, but somewhere along the way, probably halfway through his warm cup of coffee (and hot chocolate for his son), the weather had decided to turn for the worse.
before they could do anything, they were stuck. for how long, he wasn’t sure. but there’s nothing they could do when the power is out and there’s zero reception. he’s just glad that kangwoo seems to be in a good mood as the kid had not shown even the slightest frown, even in the dark. the kid usually cries bloody murder when he couldn’t see shit - it’s happened before, specially when the kid wakes up in the middle of the night with all the lights off (kyungso can’t sleep with the lights on).
kyungsoo doesn’t know if the fact that they weren’t the only ones stuck there is supposed to make him feel better. for one, even if they are in a cafe, be doubts the place have enough supply of food until the storm lets up (and that could take a while). and it’s not like things there are baby healthy - too much sweets isn’t good for any kid of any age. still, the warmth of the coffee helps a lot. he hears one of the staff doing his rounds of a coffee refill. with a pat on his son, softly telling him that daddy will be back, he stands, takes two strides to take a cup before he returns to their small corner.
he nearly drops the cup of coffee.
his kid, in all his bear onesie glory, is gone.
If there was one good thing to come out of this blizzard it was that if offered Minseok the chance to having everything stop and think. The announcement was looming and even though he had made his decision he still was nervous. The man was expecting everything to blow up in his face, he in some ways wanted that so whatever ammo people had on him was gone. Minseok believed he would be fine, he had enough money saved up, a house, and general good health. Though not well liked he was respected and good back up his talent. His concentration was interrupted sensing someone outside the door. The man sat up before turning to see a child peeking in. The two of them looked at each other, Minseok remembered seeing them around their dad or brother. The guy looked stressed to the max, but the kid seemed fine. Children’s blindness to their surroundings was a blessing sometimes. He may be closed off most of the time but he did have a soft spot for kids especially for everything he went through. “Hey, are you lost?” Minseok asked, “let’s find your family.” Getting up from his seat he extended his hand for the kid to take, which resulted in them looking back 1st before coming towards him raising their arms. Not the reaction he was expecting. Minseok picked them and walked out of the office back to the common area looking for the guy.
The Green Room - Minseok and Shiwoo
247shiwoo:
Despite his own discontentment sometimes, Shiwoo rarely got mad at something, even those awful clients, so getting a small revenge wasn’t even in his plans to start with and he would rather keep his mother’s mindset of treating both clients and employees the best way possible. Perhaps spending some time with the other male would give him some needed ideas, since the chef was too easy to be fooled with his friendly and naive personality. “But I guess I can do it when I have some obnoxious guests for the shows, since they have to pretend to be having a good time anyway and they’re not my problem.” Shiwoo jokes, actually thinking it would be fun - well, that’s until he’s scolded by the producer.
When Minseok spoke again, Shiwoo couldn’t hide his confusion. Did he sound like he wanted something more than just a ticket to watch his senior? Well, maybe he did or maybe that’s exactly what the older male was talking about even though they were seeing it a bit differently, but correcting himself or asking would simply embarrass himself, so when the brief clueless pause was gone, he nodded positively. “I can make it happen, yes. Just tell me when hyung will be free and I’ll talk to the producer. You can choose between joining me as a guest judge in the panel of the reality show or be my guest in the solo one where we just cook and talk about food and your career.” He said, getting excited with the idea. Usually, he would leave this kind of thing to the writers and producers of the show, but since the other suggested, he could open an exception.
One of the words he said earlier hit his mind again and made Shiwoo laugh lightly. Partnership. It was fun to think he was someone now that the other would see as worth of such a thing and not more like the annoying junior who had nothing to offer. Still, Shiwoo liked the sound of friendship more, because the other word was too business minded and he was still learning and getting comfortable with this enviroment. If wasn’t for his ambitious and clever father, he would still be living like a teenager while pretending to run the restaurant of the family. Things were defiitely different since they gave him a show on tv.
“Yes, hyung, I’d love it.” A smile formed on his face.
So Shiwoo could be mischievous when he wanted to be. . . or maybe it was Minseok’s influence. He did have some charming qualities about him and could “persuade” others to do what he wanted. Of course the male wouldn’t take things too far that someone got hurt. Shiwoo was even now still innocent, he had that aura about him. The older male wondered how it was possible at that age, but they had different life experiences. “I’m can work my schedules to come on the show. I want the solo to cook and talk about food. Let’s leave the career out of it,” Minseok didn’t want to talk about his career especially since his job title could change in the near future. Plus not talking about it would get people’s interest since he wasn’t giving them what they wanted. The younger male seemed to happy to have his attention, which was still a mystery as to why he was so into Minseok. Even now he kept his distant and worked a business deal out with Shiwoo despite inviting him for cake. Maybe he was just trying to make a good memory by being with or have proof not everyone was out for their own interest. It was a brief moment but his hand began to shake as he cut into cake reminding of what he did over the summer. Minseok was able to catch himself and pretended like it happened. He was almost sure Shiwoo didn’t even notice and if he did, all he had to do was deny it. “Ah maybe you should take a cake home with you,” he really didn’t know what his end goal was that statement. Maybe to throw attention off of what he did evn more. “on the house because your my dongsaeng.”
