*Rant ahead* *Spoilers ahead*

I just noticed something about Zootopia 2 and Wednesday.

So like near the end, Nick tells Judy that she's his pack. And everybody and their mama (not literally) was all like "it's gotta be romance, it's gotta be love". And I'm not saying it's not, because it may as well have been a confession of undying love, BUT I remembered something similar from another show that received a different response.

So in the show Wednesday (also around the end), Enid tells Wednesday that she's her pack. Like, you guys, literally word for word, they said the same thing. But how was the wenclair ship received? "They're just friends!" "Great way to show platonic love" "Omg besties" Like what????

You're telling me, that a rabbit and a fox gets the romance treatment because they're male and female and but two women aren't the same?? Talk about double standards. It just really ticked me off when I saw how wildehopps was received online compared to wenclair.
