Lowris - Carambar De Toi (Original Mix)

Former member of French duo Lownza, Lowris devellops here his solo project futher. While his first record along with Chris Carrier received the highest praises, his presence on Piemont’s remix album, next to Jay Haze or Uner, shows that Lowris is gently tracing his own path in the electronic field.

The « Carambar de Toi » EP gathers a collection of generous and warm deep house sonorities. Spectral Sound new recruit Pawas is on remix duties for the title track of this third Popcorn release. On his version, Pawas blends pads, drums and guitars with a round driving bass. Freshly signed on Poker Flat, is frenchman Andrade who offers here a gliding reword of Jackin’oz.

The original version is a subtle track structured by a frank bass and a distant sonar. To round up this EP, Lowris threw in a digital bonus – Random. However, nothing is left to chance here, as a serious kick drum and shuffled bass makes this track a strong DJ tool.

Niconé & Sascha Braemer Ft. Narra - Caje (Originial Mix)

Nicone Sascha Braemer and two German producers are met by the Berlin label Stil Vor Talent around the Romantic Thrills EP. Dj Shadow - Building Steam With a Grain of Salt

September 2011, we heard echoes of the music festival, based in Corsica, France, "Calvi on the Rocks". We were told that the atmosphere was magical and it was absolutely necessary that there be the next year. With curiosity, I checked look at the programming that had just happened with very favorable returns.

Nicolas Jaar was there. The 33" Tours had just discovered an artist with talent and exceptional creativity.  The music is deep, very deep confused easily Nu Disco, Deep House, Chillout, Indie, Trip-Hop, all mixed with a cannabis joint view two to three, the result is smashing, you feel away and the travel begins.

Biography

Nicolas Jaar is an American composer of electronic music. He is also the founder of his own record label, Clown and Sunset.  

Youth and early  

Son of Alfredo Jaar and Evelyne Meynard, he was born in New York January 10, 1990. He emigrated to Chile with his family at the age of two years, before returning to New York to eight years in the harem of Archimedes, of Ricardo Villalobos, Nicolas still consider that one of his influences. Alongside his musical activities, he studied comparative literature at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, United States  

2011: recognition with the album Space is only noise

His first album, Space Is Only Noise, released in early 2011, is hailed by critics clearance: one of the pieces of the album does contain an undeclared sample of I Got a Woman, by Ray Charles. Late 2011, it ranks high in various rankings of the best albums of the year: Pitchfork the twentieth class, Resident Advisor in her album is number 1, while the U.S. magazine XLR8R the positions at the top of its annual ranking of best artists emerging and the rank with respect to the albums of 2011.

POLLYester - Concierge d'Amour

The Nu Disco is in the spotlight! With the comeback of Rory Phillips, who remixed after the inevitable "Hearts" in the German Digitalism, decided to remix other Germanic compatriots. POLLYester.

That's a discovery that almost sounds like a revivalist. Listening to the first album POLLYester, we find ourselves propelled in the early 80's in New York. Post punk and no wave.  

POLLYester: it is a couple crazy, Polly and Mooner who organizes parties in Munich on themes such as Mexican wrestling, zombies or airports. The duo which are added Dj Kaput and Kitt Bang

On March 9, 1997 Christopher Wallace better known by the nickname Biggie Smalls, Biggie and especially The Notorious BIG dies riddled with bullets in a car after leaving a party in Los Angeles.

Discovered in 1994 with the album Ready to Die and the title Juicy, Biggie is becoming a requirement in the US rap with the success of this first album which sold 4 million copies!

Nothing seemed to stop then Biggie. 2 weeks after his death released her second album with this title prescient Life after death flows 10 million copies making it one of the four best-selling albums in the history of Hip Hop US (with albums 2Pac, Eminem and MC Hammer).

Todd Terje - Inspector Norse

Todd Terje is not the name of a detergent low range, but a Norwegian DJ talent that could make the dead dance. We can feel the colors when listening to music, and a nu-disco sound happy that the Nordic recently engraved on a new EP entitled "It's The Arps'. Four tracks including Inspector Norse, real sweet sound, that can be described as carbohydrate, or even hopping of acid.
