The challenge was trying not to fall in love with him the minute I saw those ocean-blue eyes... It was as if all of the waves inside of him were crashing against me, and eventually I gave into the current of the water and drowned in him–but as I sank deeper, I didn't fear the things awaiting me at the bottom of the sea, because I knew he would be there, somewhere, searching for me.
Everything will be dark some day, eventually, and the sun will be too saddened to rise every morning, knowing that all we will do is wish for the moon.
The first time I held his hand we were in a dark place, but I didn't mind because he was my light.
I think sometimes we meet a place or an opportunity or a person and we just know, 'this is where I want to be' or 'this is what I want to be' or 'this is who I want to be with.'
They say he is insane He roars with a boom somewhere near and I am hushed in a distance What a great contrast But I love him endlessly. They say he is mad He speaks to the clouds and I am on Earth I know he won't come back down But I love him endlessly. They say he is unbalanced He walks like chaos and I am contained A perfect formula for disaster But I love him endlessly. They say he is menacing He is a pitch-black night and I am a sunny morning Together we are a ravishing afternoon But I swear I love him endlessly.
My mind is a never-ending tunnel of thoughts and questions I know will never be answered.
It's not even afternoon yet and the sun just came out only hours ago, but I feel like a pitch-black night.
I stepped on broken glass and it was strange because my feet didn't ache.
He told me he wanted to die and part of me died with him and I can't believe he's drowning again. I saved him once and I will save him as many times as I need to until the ache in his chest stops. He is so strong yet so weak and I've learned how to catch him when his knees give out but he will still look back at me and smile even when he is sitting in a puddle of blood and dammit it hurts to see that shade of red again. He was doing so well but I guess he's starting to give up and he says nothing can soothe him now but my hands think differently because they have seen his scars and the one on his shoulder is etched into the back of my mind but I will never let him know that I saw it because I know it would make him feel like destruction even though he is the most beautiful bomb I have ever known. He ticks and ticks and here it comes. I think he runs from his problems because he isn't used to having someone here to heal him and maybe I'm just his weakness but is that always a bad thing? Maybe he seems explosive but if he is so dangerous then why do I get so lost in his eyes when he tells me he loves me? And I don't have a chance to blink before I say I love him too and those three words are the only things that keep him stitched together sometimes. But damn he is still so beautiful and I wouldn't mind being the one to always put him back together.
The struggles we face are supposed to make us stronger—that doesn't mean they actually do.
I cried again last night and I decided taking a shower would soothe the pain running through my veins but instead I ended up on the ground and that's kind of where I just needed to be I guess. All I heard in my mind was my father's voice and damn, it really hurt. Nothing I did made that voice fade and it just lingered in the back of a dark room and I just wanted to leave but all of the doors were locked. I think the key was above his room but do not disturb was written in red and he never took that sign down. And how can someone who loves you expect so much and think so little of you because I've been searching for answers but everything is lost and it's still dark and I keep stumbling. I guess I'll go take a shower again.

I think I enjoy traveling so much because once you are in a new place you can just start over, at least for a little while.
It just really fucking hurts knowing someone you love thinks so little of you.
I am a hell of a lot happier now than I was when I was pretending to be someone I wasn't.
It was undeniable and inevitable and so crazy, but nothing they said or did changed the way he looked at her in the midnight light.
They were shattered glass and razor blades and nothing made sense and why would their father do this to them? They lived in a dark room full of abandonment and blood stains covered the sheets but they didn’t dare speak a word so they sat in silence and told each other to suck it up. They encountered raging knuckles and saw far too much red and all they felt was anger and hurt and confusion and why? Their mother was passed out and screams filled the air until they felt as if they were suffocating in a world without oxygen. It was life and they were tired of traveling—so they stopped.

You need to realize your worth and understand that you deserve so much more than what some people give you. If you give someone multiple chances and they still continue to hurt you, they will take advantage of your forgiveness and they will never stop hurting you.
