I wonder... It would be nice if there's a scene of Alice and Elliot like a step father and step daughter moment. Or is it that she sees him as friend or writers dont feel the need to do it. Idk.

The way home - thoughts
I think the way the season is going is to like They will end the season as (their) usual but the finale be kind of separate thing. Or like similar ep 1-2. Landry family changing and moving to new chapters.
Idk i kept think or hoping there would be an exciting big plot twist to the show.. Something the effect of finding Tessa and someone dying(?) In the tunnels.. (Or KC). Or,something magical of the pond (like maybe Elliot changed the pond magic) or writers explained about the pond. But now I don't think its gonna happen like that ...writing way... That I had in mind. Idk. Just seems so close to the end. 🐎

Just thought of that since Tessa didn't write the letter and returned the ring to Vic and since they were typed, it could be Griffin and him sending letters to Del? Maybe Danny is like "Elliot" to Griffin.

In the promo.. Griffin sees alice coming out of the pond which they can travel through time from it.
But also the actor being from The Outlander probably is thinking "oh not touching stones but jumping in pond this time."

You knowww what I love about all the couples in the way home is that they just feel very real. I believe all these people and their love stories could exist. Like yes they're on a tv show and a part of these grander stories with time travel of all things, but the love itself is in the details. Colton playing Del's favorite song for her and them dancing in the kitchen. Kat and Elliot falling for their neighbor next door after reigniting their friendship. Cliff and Fern realizing they want life together. Not even a grand life - just this farm and this house and maybe a family. But isn't the love grand all the same??
