@3dflipper
  âImagine being-a three dimensional.â
 Heâs joking, of course.
ahem! today⌠iâm going to share with you a drawing dedicated to my favorite game of all time.
anyways. lets get this paper party started. hereâs an inbox call.
ghostbustingreenâ:
  Eagerly embraces his tinier brother.
      âMaaariooooo!!â
 Happy paper noises.
  âLuiiiigiiii!â
In the woods (pixel version)
ghostbustingreenâ:
  âBrooooooo!!â
Goes over to hug his bro.
  âBrooooooooo!â
Started playing a bit of Paper Mario recently and I thought of thegreatandmightyoneâs love of the game.
Here you go, One. A couple of gifs for ya!
ghostbustingreenâ:
âI love-a you too, Big Broooo~!â
  âBroooo!â
âJusta reminder that I love my bro.â
0vershadowedâ:
âTwo-dimensional solidarity, at long last!â
 âokay,   boomer.â
Shuffles in. Dusts himself off. Adjusts his cap.
 â...    ... How long has it-a been? Huh?â
 nightmaresindreamland:
Mirrormareâs hands were awfully covered in rocky dust, huh. That and some other strange dirt which most certainly didnât belong on the moon was there. Seeing from the way the walls in here looked dug out, with long talon marks occasionally decorating them, it appeared as if he had been busy.
Also, again, Mirrormare wasnât going to question the paper plumber or the fact that his entire world was paper.
âW-Well uh, thatâs very generous of you.â
Mirrormare wringed his hands before promptly stopping, realizing how evil the action probably seemed.
âBut um. No, I donât really need any help.â
He didnât want any help. He didnât deserve it either, but he mostly just didnât want any.
âThe less help I get the better, it makes it so um. I can dis- distract myself, and have things to do.â
Paper Mario casually stands there and listens to what the other says. What a neutral expression he had kept on his face. Maybe it was the oval eyes. The thin hero casually shrugged and nodded. He could understand that. He did simple things like collecting coins and reading books to get his mind off of things.
âOkey-dokey.â He nods, before casually curling up into a paper tube and rolling around, looking for some nooks and crannies. Might as well see if he can find some fancy items on the moon. Maybe a scientist would like some 3d moon rocks. He wouldnât know.
nightmaresindreamland:
..Maryo seemed to be a bit horizontally challenged in regards to the whole uh.. Height and width department. Which is a little.. No, not little. Very, very weird. Very strange. He looked like he was made of paper. Though uh, Mirrormareâs not going to question it.
Thereâs socks that turn people into yarn around here.
So.
âY-You can uh.. Call me Mirrormare, or Starscape, whichever you want.â
Both were better than just plain ol âNightmareâ. Both were much more pleasant, much bigger facades to his true, diabolical nature of exisiting.
âAnd.. You donât need to uh, to close it off, itâs fine, I donât want to bother anyone by telling them to not have a âwarp pipeâ to here.â
Mirrormare looked rather withdrawn at the idea of conflict, or confrontation of any sort. So. Guess that toad could keep its pipe to an alien moon.
âSo i-itâs fine. No need to uh.. Do anything. Itâs fine.â
Leading people straight to their deaths in the claws of an evil wizard. Yeah, that sure sounds fine.
Mirrormare? Huh. The thin hero would take note to just. Put a warning sign next to the pipe or something, then. Toads were very easily startled... Or maybe he could just lock it with a key or something. It was no big deal with him, he had dealt with much more grueling tasks than closing off a warp pipe.
âMy worldâs made outta paper, so. Imma just gonna make sure everyoneâs safe and nobody gets startled.â He says, like its a normal thing. âIâve been in the 3D world before-a. Itâs no big deal to me anymore.â
The paper hero casually looks around for a moment, before looking up at Mirrormare again.
âYou... Need any help with anything? I donât have much to do right-a now.â
nightmaresindreamland:
See, this wizard was very.. Accustomed to the galaxy he lived in. At one point he ruled the universe, and during that reign he also had the internet and a person who perused the internet with amazing accuracy.
To not have heard of Mario whilst being so intap with his surroundings would mean heâd have to be horribly, dreadfully, and willingly ignorant. Heâd heard of this man. He just wasnât.. A fangirl. Or anything.
âIâm here to.. Think about what Iâve done and all. And to generally be alone. And to make shelter away from other people..â
There was a lot to think about. A lot to try to ignore by busying himself with projects. At least right now he can focus on Mario, but that forcing to focus still made it so there was a voice behind his inner monologue, telling him all sorts of bad stuff.
âIâd like to know why the famous Mario is on this moon, b-but uh.. Iâm sure you have your reasons.â
What they could be, Mirrormare hadnât a clue.
The... The wizard knew him. The weird wizard on this moon knew him. Was he really that popular? Perhaps he was being mistaken for his 3D counterpart. A slight bit of shock was seen on his face. He makes a weird little laminated paper noise as he leans back for a moment, tilting his head.Â
âA toad wanted me to examine this warp pipe, and it led to here... Donât worry, Iâll just have it closed off if you want to-a be alone.â Â
 He casually shrugs.
âI wouldnât see myself as famous, though. Just someone who-a wants to help people, thatâs all.â He pauses-- âWell, since you-a know my name, is it okay if I ask for-a yours?â
nightmaresindreamland:
Like the sureness of pressing âAâ on a npc when one got close enough, that hop and near drawing of Meyro got the tall wizard to wake up.
It let out a loud yawn noise, and its hands moved to its face as to rub it. Then it breathed out. And turned around. Oh boy. That face was ugly. Like, uglier than a literal butt ugly.Â
âHello..?âÂ
Thatâs the sort of voice that deserved an evil font in an evil textbox. He looked down at Miirio from eyes not shown. He rubbed under his glasses with those long talons of his, like heâd just woken up. And though he sounded tired, it was no less intimidating.
âHow can I help you..â
 Aw. Man.
Mario kept a surprisingly neutral face as the other turned towards him. Part of him was braced for some sort of attack from the pretty... Well, to say it nicely, odd looking guy. With a pretty scary sounding voice. But Mario didnât judge someone by their appearance (Unless they looked like Bowser or Dimentio, but those two were completely different stories...), just their actions. Â
And the other was being very docile. So.Â
âOh. Hello.â He spoke up in his tiny, Italian voice. âSorry that I woke-a you up, but. Is it okay if I ask what youâre doing on this-a moon? Iâm not the moon police or anything, Imma just curious.â
