[7:49 am] ♡ With your consciousness now coming back to you, your eyes slowly crack open, a barrage of sunlight coming from the very open windows in your room. Lifting your head, brain still muddled with the remnants of the dream you were having, your right hand reaches out, finding that the man that was once by your side is now replaced with bunched up sheets.

Looking around, you see no traces of your boyfriend. The bathroom light isn’t on, his phone missing from the nightstand, his glasses also pulled the vanishing act. So you get up, snuggling into the shirt that drapes over your shoulders and the cold breeze on your bare legs making you shiver slightly.

It isn’t until you hear a large Bang that you perk up, quickly opening the door and padding out into the kitchen, trying to find the source of the noise. And boy did you find it.

“Good morning, angel.” Changbin says, completely disregarding the plastic mixing bowl that was now sitting a foot behind him on the floor, some liquid dripping from the rim.

“I don’t know if I want to know, but what are you doing?” You ask, one hand coming up to try and rid your eyes of the last tendrils of sleep.

Changbin walks closer to you, placing a kiss on your forehead and smoothing out some of your bedhead on one side. Your arms instinctively go to wrap around his middle, head finding its home on his bare chest. You can feel his chuckle when he looks back at the scene behind him.

“I was trying to cook you breakfast.” As you pull back from the hug, Changbin quickly leans in to steal another kiss, this one landing on the tip of your nose. A pout slightly protrudes from his lip as he recalls just how this happened, “I got too ambitious after making four pancakes.”

[3:45 PM] truth be told, you saw it coming that instead of diligently working on the music assignment your teacher forced you to do together, you and rival!changbin are having a diss battle. it’s no secret that you two constantly want to rip each other’s heads off; many assume that since you’re both competitive and music is your strongest suit, it was bound to happen that a rivalry sprung out. however, everyone knows that that’s not the reason for your mutual hatred. in fact, nobody knows why you hate each other so much.

(frankly speaking, you two don’t know either. it’s when your insults gradually grow weaker, when you find yourself unable to provide a witty comeback instantly, when he clumsily stutters out his next sentence, and when bitter words slowly morph into “why are you always so cute and why can't you get out of my head?” that you realize that maybe, it’s never been a distaste that you’ve felt for one another.)
