PAIRING: stoner!changbin x fem!reader
GENRE: mature themes - drug use - suggestive
WARNINGS: drug use (weed)
SUMMARY: You go to your favorite plug's house to get some weed but the night takes an unexpected (but very pleasant) turn...
You fast-walked down the usual alley that you took as a shortcut whenever you were running late. You hadn’t taken this route in a while. You only had one reason to come to part of the city and it was to cop off your usual (and favorite) plug which you hadn’t been able to do recently. You were in an uncharacteristically good mood which you blamed on being excited to try the new strain you’d heard about. It had nothing to do with the more than average looking drug dealer you’d go across the city to see. Definitely nothing to do with that.
binnie 💨 : you're always late wyaaaaa
binnie 💨 : hurry up or I'm giving your bag to someone else
binnie 💨 : going..... going...
You breathed out a laugh through your nose, quickly putting in your pass code and opening up your messages app, typing a quick response.
★ you ★ : relax I'm walking up nooooow
Shoving your hand back in your coat pocket, you crossed the street immediately making eye contact with the man you came to see. He was sitting on the bench on his front porch where he usually sat when he was waiting for customers. He had a tray on his lap, covered in bud of various shades of green, rolling what looked to be a fifth joint. Five joints not including the one tucked behind his ear, but knowing him, he probably forgot about that one. Changbin finished up and put the joint between his lips before shooting a wide smile in your direction.
He moved the tray from his lap as walked down his front steps to unlock the gate. As he did so he welcomed you with open arms. You happily accepted the hug, wrapping your arms around his middle. Inhaling the scent of smoke and light body wash you took notice of how he felt in your arms. Warm and strong, as he pulled you tight against his chest which seemed to get more firm everytime you visited.
"Welcome back, traitor." he said softly into your hair.
You laughed out loud, swatting at his arm as you rolled your eyes at his accusation.
"You went on vacation!" you retorted. "I had to get my weed from somewhere."
"Yeah yeah," he answered, pulling away from your embrace in mock hurt. Putting the joint from his mouth in his pocket he signaled for you to let yourself in.
“Whatever you say, cheater!” he shouted after you.
You chuckled as you made your way into his home. It always surprised you how mostly absent the smell of weed was on his first floor. For someone who made a living dealing with such a substance you’d expect the scent to linger in every corner of every room but his living room was tidy and smelled mostly of air freshener.
"You waitin’ for Bin?” said a voice from your left. You almost didn’t see him in the dark living room but the light from the TV illuminated him enough for you to see him for a few moments at a time. Sitting slumped on a bean bag in the corner was a vaguely familiar 20-something male with one arm tucked under his head and the other shoved in the pocket of his hoodie. He removed his hand from his pocket revealing a dab pen that he took a pull from, blowing the smoke-like vapor through his nose. You were pretty sure you’d smoked with him before, but couldn’t place when.
Before you could respond to the almost-stranger, Changbin did.
"Ji, Don’t creep on my customers.” Changbin’s voice came from behind you as he closed and locked his front door. He stepped between you and the male in an almost possessive motion even though his friend was more than 10 feet away from you.
“So touchy.” His friend mocked with a wide grin. “I was just asking a question.” the vaguely familiar stranger responded, sitting up so he could hold up his hands in defense. Changbin rolled his eyes.
“Sure you were.” he responded before turning his attention back to you. You didn’t get too good of a look at him outside but now, standing a few feet from you, you were able to take in his full appearance. He was casual in his gray sweats, a beanie, and a plain white tee but the way the shirt fit on his chest and arms was very…distracting.
You hadn’t realized how long you’d been looking at his chest but it was long enough for him to take notice. He bit back a smirk waiting for your response, thoroughly enjoying your inner turmoil at being caught.
“Yeah. Sorry, I’m a little tired. Work ya’ know..” you lied.
“Uh huh.” He nodded, clearly not buying it but also not pushing further as he slid past you up the stairs gesturing for you to follow him. The smell of weed got stronger with each step towards the second floor. A stark contrast to the first, but a welcome aroma to you. A silent promise of what's to come.
“You know; you can come up here by yourself, if you want. You don’t have to wait for me.” he said, pushing the door to his room open. It looked just as you remembered it last, save for the half unpacked suitcase in the middle of the floor. It always seemed to be in various states of disarray but he always knew where everything was somehow. Laptop? Under his dresser by the wall. Favorite hoodie? In the target bag hanging on the door knob. Lighter? A couple on his desk, three in a couple hoodie pockets, and several spread across multiple bookbags. It was the definition of organized chaos. Picking up the joint he left lit on the ashtray on his bedside table, he hit it before passing it to you and motioning for you to have a seat on his bed.
You placed your bag down, rummaging through it to look for your wallet. “Nah it's okay, I don’t mind waiting.”
It was his turn to chuckle. “You know I trust you, you don't have to do that.”
He did have a point. You’d seen where he kept his weed more times than you could count. He’d even alluded to keeping most of his money somewhere in his closet once. If you wanted to steal from him, you easily could. There was no reason for him to bring someone this deep into his personal space unless he trusted them.
You put the rolled joint between your lips taking a long pull before holding it and coughing it back out almost immediately.
“You alright there, baby lungs?” He teased as he set a large duffle bag onto the bed.
You ignored the way your heart fluttered in your chest at the nickname as you coughed out a “fuck you” in response making him chuckle.
Unzipping the duffel bag, he opened it up to reveal multiple vacuum sealed bags containing various strains of your favorite plant. Each one labeled and color coded so it was easy to tell the sativas from the indicas at first glance. Cleaning his room was too much for him, but he definitely was organized when it came to his money.
“You wanted a quad, right?” He asked without looking up.
“Yes, please and thank you.” You answered, scooting back a bit so you could lay back on his pillows. The light coming through the window made the sheets warm to the touch like they were inviting you into their warm embrace. An invitation you may have accepted under different circumstances.
He thumbed through the labeled bags until one caught his eye. “Ah! There you are.” he exclaimed before tossing a smaller bag toward you onto the bed. “Sour Diesel, as requested.”
All the bags in his duffle had the names of the strains written on them, but the bag he handed you was marked with your name. It was also color coded differently from the rest.
“Wow, 5 stars for the customer service.” You chuckled running your thumb over your sharpied name on the bag. “You personalize all the bags?” you questioned, taking another drag from the almost-finished joint and passing it to him. You couldn’t remember him doing this before, but then again you were high when you saw him and he was often low on bags so he sometimes just used whatever was laying around to get you what you needed.
He shrugged taking the joint. “Nah not really. Just felt like doing that to yours. If you throw in an extra five I’ll even put stickers on it.” Pulling his computer chair forward to sit on, he took a long drag from the joint and put it out in the ashtray beside him.
You snickered at his joke but couldn’t help latching onto his nonchalance. It didn’t feel genuine.
“Uh huh,” you began, using his previous words against him. “Or you just missed me.” You teased in a sing-song tone, crossing your arms over your chest in triumph. “Must suck to like me so much.”
He didn’t acknowledge your light taunt, except for the small smile that tugged at his lips. I’ll take that as a win you thought.
“You wanted to smoke right?” he asked, changing the subject while letting smoke come out from his mouth with every word. Before you answered he pulled the five of the six joints you counted before out from his pocket.
“All that's for us?” you questioned incredulously. You were definitely a smoker but you figured when you agreed to match you’d be matching him one for one. All the weed you had was what he just served you which you figured was only about 8 joints worth. Plus you knew that 6 joints would have you high out of your mind. Especially with the strains he usually got in.
“Yeah, why?” He skillfully put a new joint between his lips, lit it and took a drag, exhaling smoke with his next sentence. “You got work or something?”
You chuckled at his reasoning. To him, the only problem with smoking 6 joints would be if you had work in the next couple hours. Not that 6 joints was a lot to smoke in one sitting.
“No, but the only weed I got is the we-” you began to explain before he waved away your apprehension.
“Don’t touch your shit, that’s for you.” he responded, passing you the joint. “I got you tonight.”
You chose to look at the joint he was passing you instead of him. If he had looked you in the eyes while telling you that, your face may have betrayed you again. Your cheeks definitely would. You could already feel them warming up, so you chose to take another long drag of the bud as a distraction.
You smoked for what felt like hours. Talking about this and that was easy with Changbin sober, but even more entertaining when he was high. His usual animated demeanor being replaced with a far more laid back one. Still animated, but animated in slow motion almost. You enjoyed teasing him in this state. Pretending that you didn’t see that time he caught his phone RIGHT before it had fallen into a sewer grate, or insisting you didn’t remember when he beat you in mario kart 6 games in a row, just to see him slowly sit up to defend himself and slump back into his chair complaining of being too high for this, promising to get you proof when he was more clear headed.
You talked about his vacation too. It was less of a vacation and more of a work trip. He had flown out to re-up from his connect. His guy had some new shit he wanted Changbin to start selling so he’d flown out to meet him and stock up. How he got it on the plane and back in the city was beyond you but he managed it.
“Lucky you, getting to take a work trip to California.” You said now fully laying in his bed, left arm tucked behind your head.
Changbin followed your lead, now lying beside you in a similar arrangement to yours. Both of you facing the ceiling as you passed the last joint around. He was very upset about losing one until you reminded him of the one behind his ear. The smile he gave you would have weakened your knees if you’d been standing.
“Well I mean I did have to work. Not much, but I did.” he insisted, watching the smoke spiral from his own lips upward into the air. “Still sounds fun. I’m jealous.” you commented.
He propped himself up on his elbow, turning toward you.
“I mean..” he hesitated, which was very unlike him. He was always very blunt and unabashedly himself. Saying exactly what was on his mind with no reservations in the pursuit of honesty.
“You …could come with me next time?” He looked away from you, turning his attention to the patterns on his sheets, opting to trace his finger over the design than meet your gaze on him.
“Really?” You asked, sitting up a little in excitement. “I mean you don’t have to, I wasn’t saying that so you c-”
He cut you off again. “I know you weren’t.” he reassured, his smile returning. “I-... Well I’d like it if you came with me. I like having you around.”
This time he met your gaze easily, like that was the most obvious thing in the world. Almost like he knew what his confessions were doing to you.
“Reeeeeeally?” you asked, clearly giddy.
“Uh huh.” he answered, the joint in his hand almost forgotten completely.
“You better stop now before I start feeling special,” you chuckled looking away again. It was your turn to bring your attention to the sheets on his bed rather than him.
“What if I told you that you are?” He almost whispered. His soft tone brings your attention back to him.
You didn’t notice yourself leaning forward. You didn’t notice him doing the same. his lips were inches from yours before three loud bangs against his bedroom door startled you both almost to death.
“Bin! You got customers!”
