How common are spiritfolk? So far, humans seem to be the dominant race in the world. Are other, 'classic' fantasy races - such as elves or dwarves - simply in the minority or do they not exist at all?
Do spiritfolk need to eat? Does it vary?
Supposing there are other planes in the TI-verse, do spiritfolk exist there as well?

Is Ishtolen the language of the Shrouded Isles' spiritfolk or spiritfolk in general?
Are there more islands to the Isles than the ones we've the names of? If yes, do spiritfolk live on them? How many of them has Kyr explored? Kyr also mentioned he'd explored the Fox-King's mansion (that is, the one the bridge from Nine Shrines leads to), has he found anything of note there?
Back in Dealing with Death, was the reason Kyr's father's fingertips were missing self-inflicted? Is it relevant at this point?
Would it be futile to ask what the Fox-King looks like or does she generally not tend to change her appearance? Currently, is she mostly staying in one place or travelling?
How are Krista, Vachon and Chriel doing? Any plans to bring them back?
It was said that the Zeth may be considered a world threat some day. Did 'the Zeth' in this case mean all of them or just Narn, since their name wasn't known yet? Can we assume that there aren't very many Zeth in the world?
How long-lived are Zeth? Are they mortal?
Has Narn killed any of their kind? Have they had any conflicts with other Zeth?
Narn and Firi get on well, despite seeming to have quite the different worldviews. I've been assuming they've known each other for a long time; is that the case? Does Narn know Aryn?
Is Firi's pin related to the Outriders' symbol or is it something else? Something related to a certain city and/or a certain organization, perhaps?
Aryn's greatsword has been specifically referred to as a 'wicked blade'. Is it cursed? Possessed? Just to clarify, am I correct in assuming Aryn is the friend Firi mentioned?

Speaking of the Free Isles, will the main campaign stick to only them or does that depend on what the group ends up doing?
And do the nations of the Free Isles have their own native languages (like Meathe) and just choose to use Free for convenience?

How common are spiritfolk? Depends first and foremost on the country. Spiritfolk a long while ago gathered up in certain nations and built communities. The stronger spiritfolk were revered as deities by humanity, so they could make it by solo or in pantheons surrounded by humans!
So far, humans seem to be the dominant race in the world. Are other, 'classic' fantasy races - such as elves or dwarves - simply in the minority or do they not exist at all? Good question! This is a joke that me, Faust and Jackson threw around a lot while we were still hashing out the very basics of the TI world. There are rumors of elves, dwarves, and particularly goblins, but no definite proof. They're believed to be a fairytale. At least one of those races exists. TI does have its own subset of fantasy races, however, that we'll be seeing more of over the arcs to come!
Do spiritfolk need to eat? Does it vary? It does! Honestly domains that enable spiritfolk to sustain themselves without consuming food are common enough to perpetuate a stereotype that they don't need to eat. Spiritfolk like Xin or Kyl'il absolutely do not, while "spirits" like Dont do!
Supposing there are other planes in the TI-verse, do spiritfolk exist there as well? Another good question! One I can't properly answer. So far the only plane shenanigans we've seen are through the lens of Markus, who is something of an unreliable narrator.
Are there any limitations when it comes to a spiritfolk's appearance? A bit! Some Spiritfolk have adopted a sort of culture limiting their appearances to standards. Standards that shift the further you travel in the world. Depending on domain and ability, their could be physical limitations of the forms a Spiritfolk could assume, but the safer assumption is that Spiritfolk can come in any shape or size.
How common is it for a spiritfolk to be able to shapeshift? Shapeshifting is a potent ability carried by some Spiritfolk whose domains tend to be on the more... fluid or interpretive side of things. It's uncommon but not unheard of. The easiest comparison would be, shapeshifting is about as common to Spiritfolk as magic is to the human folk.
Is Ishtolen the language of the Shrouded Isles' spiritfolk or spiritfolk in general? Ishtolen is a weird language that I wish the group talked more about. It carries a unique property that makes it near universal for anyone who speaks a similar language. Spiritfolk from Onorhant speak Free because Free is an Alaranni rebranding of old Onorhian, but they could comprehend Ishtolen.
Are there more islands to the Isles than the ones we've the names of? Yes!
If yes, do spiritfolk live on them? A few do! The more reclusive ones.
How many of them has Kyr explored? All of the islands he could get to! He'll insist, of course, that he's seen them all. Kyr was unable to reach a few though due to supernatural interference.
Kyr also mentioned he'd explored the Fox-King's mansion (that is, the one the bridge from Nine Shrines leads to), has he found anything of note there? Ooooh yes he has! Good eye.
Back in Dealing with Death, was the reason Kyr's father's fingertips were missing self-inflicted? Yes and no. If Markus had messed around with Iconoclasm, we may have seen exactly what caused this phenomenon.
Is it relevant at this point? That... depends on Matt!
Would it be futile to ask what the Fox-King looks like or does she generally not tend to change her appearance? Bingo!
Currently, is she mostly staying in one place or travelling? Traveling!
How are Krista, Vachon and Chriel doing? Two out of three are happy, and enjoying their lives. The third is Krista.
Any plans to bring them back? Faust and Jackson are fighting hard for a return. I'll cave eventually.
It was said that the Zeth may be considered a world threat some day. Did 'the Zeth' in this case mean all of them or just Narn, since their name wasn't known yet? Either, honestly! Zeth are tricky due to the way the collective functions. Narn becoming dangerous would make their race as a whole become that much more dangerous do to the way that Zeth share. Oh, someday I'll have a chance to talk about how cool you are, Narn.
Can we assume that there aren't very many Zeth in the world? There are enough.
How long-lived are Zeth? Are they mortal? Age is a mostly irrelevant concept for them!
Has Narn killed any of their kind? Have they had any conflicts with other Zeth? Yes, but not for the reason you might think? This is a hard one to answer without spoilers.
Narn and Firi get on well, despite seeming to have quite the different worldviews. I've been assuming they've known each other for a long time; is that the case? In a manner of speaking!
Does Narn know Aryn? They are aware of her.
Is Firi's pin related to the Outriders' symbol or is it something else? Something related to a certain city and/or a certain organization, perhaps? Could be!
Aryn's greatsword has been specifically referred to as a 'wicked blade'. Is it cursed? Possessed? Aryn's zweihander is just particularly brutal! It gives the supernaturally sensitive Ashe the heebie jeebies. While not cursed or possessed, there is something that she can sense about it.
Just to clarify, am I correct in assuming Aryn is the friend Firi mentioned? Could be!
Are the relationships between the nations in the world tense? Varies from nation to nation but within the Free Isles, no! The world is quite open in TI. Nationalism is strong, but there isn't outright hostility towards other places.
Are there or have there recently been any major wars? The most common war within the TIverse is a civil war. And there have been pleeenty of those.
How are the Free Isles viewed by the rest of the world? Just a 'corner of the world', as it was said once? Pretty much! Abandoned for not having any real natural, mystical, or supernatural resources. All of which is technically incorrect, but what can you do.
Speaking of the Free Isles, will the main campaign stick to only them or does that depend on what the group ends up doing? I've built up nations out and around the Free Isles, but ultimately Markus, Gregor and Ashe are gonna do what they wanna do. I have plenty of incentive to send them elsewhere, however!
And do the nations of the Free Isles have their own native languages (like Meathe) and just choose to use Free for convenience?Free was popularized and forced upon the other nations by the Alaranni. It's a bastardization of Onorhian that the Alaranni copyrighted first. It's an advertisement for their paid language, Premium. Isolated nations (like Meathe) are the only areas capable of resisting the Alaranni diffusion.
