Red Oak bow: This bow now has 1-1/2” of reflex…and a draw weight over 60# at 26” again. I am looking to bring the draw in at 55# at 28” with a straight standing bow. I don’t mind a little string follow, but I’d rather heat the belly and finish up with a straight bow.

A few shots from today! We were given a really nice camera and had to try it out on moving targets before faire.

Gave the manthing a crash course on a 90m trot track (Triple shot and mini Hun) AND got baby brother on a leadline; he ended up kicking our asses when it came time to scoring…163 target points on a 6 run course. 

Sis was a saint and put up with us in the 98 degree heat even though she isnt as fit as I would like

Just about to loose an arrow towards the target. I’m still at the field, just without my recurve - instead I’m attempting to make a laminate longbow. It’s going to be 66" long, ~28# @28" for @georginacutts and finished with a mother-of-pearl inlay and a leather and silver wire grip.
