With these Ocean Adventure Cookies inspired by Finding Dory, you can go on a delicious underwater adventure. The buttery cookies are studded with chocolate chips and adorned with edible ocean-themed decorations, making them a tasty treat for both children and adults.
Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. teaspoon salt. 1 cups chocolate chips. Blue food coloring. Edible ocean-themed decorations.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. Mix the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a big bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. After adding the vanilla extract, beat in the eggs one at a time. Combine well. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in. A few drops of blue food coloring will make the dough look like the ocean. Mix until the color is spread out evenly. Spread dough out on baking sheets, leaving space between each one. You can use a cookie scoop or a spoon to do this. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. When the cookies are hot from the oven, take them out and immediately press edible decorations with ocean themes onto them to make a scene under the water. For a few minutes, let the cookies cool on the baking sheets. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. The ocean adventure cookies are ready to be served.
