Is there like idk more lore on mimic? I feel like they’re pretty cool design wise and concept wise, because well, y’know I’ve never seen someone do that with a Partypooper before. I remember that he wasn’t in a group?? Or maybe I misread 😭 but are they basically just.. like alone???? Like a forever thing or do they run into more partypoopers later on?? ALSO I LOVE YOURE ART AND RANTS THEYRE SO FUN TO READ (Also diver is cool too, all your backroom ocs are cool 🥺)

But yeah! Mimic is alone for most of it. Having managed to survive the fun war on their own instead of with one of the escape-groups that fell back. They knew about the plans but never ended up managing to get back with the bulk of the partypoopers who escaped. So they assumed that the others hadn't made it :((
They make all their disguises themself, often throwing away some to make new ones since they don't want to ever get caught,
Mimic also actually kind of lives in level fun??? not really but real close to it. They're often there because well-- yk, partygoer disguise. Unfortunately that does mean they have to participate in partygoer activities. While they generally try to avoid getting dragged into hunting parties, If its just them and one other partygoer they'll go.
..Though its always just them returning..

Mimic's whole sort of deal is that they're trying to pick off the partygoers (though they'd never make an actual dent in the number of them, its something.) and do what they can to stop more people from dying/getting turned. So they try to leak most of the partygoers plans that they catch wind of, (Something that has pissed the partygoers off pretty badly as they're trying to find the culprit..)
Actually Mimic does end up reuniting with the other partypoopers though! it happens quite a bit later but Pim and Lux actually end up running into them <3 (who are both,, very horrified at the partygoer costume.) But I haven't totally thought out the lore for that interraction other than Mimic getting brought to the current camp/outpost and having to get used to the changes after the war.
They would be very very emotional about it all, considering they thought everyone was dead. But would also have good information on the partygoers. Considering they'd be one of the only 3 partypoopers that know about Defective Partygoers (The others being Cloudy and Cyrus, technically Pim and Lux too but,, they only get to see Print in person way down the line..)
Mimic's probably seen a few defectives get torn up in lvl Fun, they've also ran into Carmine firsthand (as both of them have the same goal of taking out normal partygoers)

Tbh mimic likely has endured some pretty bad injuries from wanderers trying to kill them while they're disguised as a partygoer. So they've been through a lot </3

I think they've started wearing more protective stuff underneath the disguises, no hoodie since it gets caught when trying to put on the head and makes stuff difficult. (i dont draw my partypoopers unhooded often but they're shadow/silhouette people for anyone who doesn't know :> i should probably make a reference..)
+ Most partygoers can't tell theres something wrong with mimic (since they range so diversely in mutations its hard to tell if its just weird genetics or something worth looking into.)
Even though the entities in my backrooms variant are able to sense each others presence, only ones with a heightened ability would be able to tell they didn't "feel" like a partygoer. So they manage to slip past suspicion pretty well.
I think their disguises have also gotten better, in one of the wikis "partygoer leather" is mentioend which is wild to think people are turning them into leather but also something i totally think Mimic would try to do to make their disguises more indistinguishable.
The hands of the disguises also have a little pocket on the inside that they can put their hands into to keep them from sliding out/secures them more.
They have to take their hand out of the pocket in order to stuff it through the mouth hole (the disguises are pretty much one piece, since more separation would be more suspicious and have a higher chance of coming loose and revealing them..)
I think mimic would get along well with Cloudy and Thirds, Thirds isn't at the camp very often but i feel like they'd bond over being alone after the war. Cloudy and Mimic would purely talk about their weird partygoer interactions + Cloudy would be interested in Mimics sewing skills...

YOU MAY!! I actually don't have that much for him though. He's pretty prevalent in the story but I've done almost nothing n terms of lore with him </3

He's one of the few non-defective partygoers i have, the other being Jest and on some level Begonia I think. He's not very serious about stuff + tends to be the last one to figure stuff out. (Unaware that Marble is defective, probably won't find out until Marble breaks and tells him or Begonia does.)
Volt somewhat replaced a different partygoer ocs role in my lore (Confetti), so he's pretty involved in Begonias lore.
He, Marble and Jest had all been captured due to their weird traits for a partygoer research program being done by the MEG and ERC, which is how he ended up meeting Begonia + Marble.
He spent most of his time there at the research base locked in a chair, so he took pretty much any opportunity he had to get under the skin of the people working there. They were instructed not to talk to / listen to the partygoers but he eventually managed to get the janitor to quit on the spot. Leaving the people working there to have to try and get a last minute stand-in..
He's pretty proud of that one, also because it indirectly caused him to meet Begonia. Who- after the people running it had gone to all the departments, finally gave up and asked their lower science-team/researchers. And she was the only one who volunteered for it.
He'd also eventually convinced Begonia to break them out after she spiraled which is what led to the destruction of that research base and her becoming a partygoer.

Volts not as strong as some of the other's (especially not Marble), but he's pretty fast and agile for a partygoer. being able to climb most things / jump up to higher areas. Though its not a skill he uses that often.
Tbh Volt's abilities have kind of befuddled me, you'd think that since he's named Volt he'd have some kind of electricity or conduction ability but he doesn't (I figured it was way too far out there for a genetic mutation of some kind.)
I have had the idea that maybe he's got a really big vocal range, capable of getting loud enough to blow out peoples eardrums. But i think thats just a him thing.
Its probably fine that hes got a few different things he can do but I like to keep my characters themed to one idea. He's sort of just?? normal?? in comparison to Marble and Begonia??
Hes like that one average guy 😭 doesn't stop him from having a big ego though </3 I honestly think the ERC base may have just snatched him to have a controlled variable or whatever to base off of when it came to Marble (has a hard solid exterior) and jest (capable of mimicry/causing hallucinations)

I have so little on this guy its crazy.. I think if he read books he'd be a romance fan, Hmmmm oh actualkly depending on how i go with my lore, he may end up trying to kill marble if he finds out they're defective. Rip to that relationship (marble is heavily aware of this fact, its doomed yaoi....)
Also Carmine's tried to kill him multiple times and keeps failing. I wouldn't be surprised if Mimic had also tried to kill him and failed.
i haven't done enough with him and marble man.. I gotta do more with them :((( Volt wouldn't be able to kill Marble on his own (though he'd damn well try), so it would either end with marble allowing his own death, or getting to some kind of?? agreement?? Marble wouldn't kill Volt even though he very VERY easily could.
Though even if they both end up living, it likely wouldn't go well. Considering my concepts on what happens to begonia / what she does...

i couldn't think of begonia having any specific toys she kept <3 so she looks more normal??? probably had dolls or something instead
they look so silly <3 i love them, I figured tulips arm was pretty much unpatchable so i think it would have been sewed shut here instead.
Prints heart patch is cus thats where Cyrus stabbed him the second time they ran into eachtoher... which i havent posted much about i think, oops. The ones on his scruff(??) are from somewhat older lore where he had clawed at it out of stress and stretched it out on accident. (idk if that lore still stands actually)

RANDOM OC (Au?) FACTS 5!! im not paying attention to how many 😭
- In a world where Print never got turned into a partygoer,, she ends up using a spear as a weapon + still avoids people <3
- Print and Cyrus meet in that world because she trips over his unconscious body in level 6, no lore for how Cy got injured and ended up there but she ends up dragging his ass out.
- Cyrus wakes up in a shopping cart later much to his horror and confusion
- Theres also a concept of an au where Print isn’t defective, im not even sure if Cyrus would meet him there. The whole reason he ran into Print initially was cus they were both taking levels that were avoided by partygoers + people… Tulip would be dead here.
- theres a few other concepts that follow actual au formating (rather than “what-if” scenarios) i just uh,,,, chat is a school au where level fun and level 52 are rival schools that are separated by patch of forest cringe…. Begonia is a counsellor in Fun while Kyros is the principle in 52.. Cyrus gets into shenanigans and prints school has some kind of bully hierarchy or something. Guys this goofy ahh au is what brought me back to backrooms briefly awhile ago <3
I should really draw my partygoers human selves /pre-backrooms tbh, Print’s the youngest of the bunch to get turned. Tulip was an athlete, Confetti (in their brief lore existence) had worked in a salon…

RANDOM OC/NON OC FACTS!! 4??? 5??? I forgot already
- Cyrus and Print have yet to eat together, though should that ever happen It would be a noticable moment of trust.
- Pim has muscle issues and can get injured very easily, Lux carries most of their supplies because of this.
- I think partypoopers would noticably “adapt” to environments. They would have kept themselves in level 52 to remain human. But the small changes would be noticable (Not enough to majorly change their silhouettes but for example: Kyros has grown claws and somewhat cold resistent hands, Diver has webs between their fingers, and Cyrus also has claws/is beginning to get them. Meanwhile Pim and Lux have normal human like hands.)
- Partypoopers are shadow-like humanoids if i never mentioned, they appear pitch black to the human-eye as well as tend to ‘burn in’ (Not actually burning but what it looks like??) in photos that are taken of them.

1. What is actually her point for killing? or goal? Just for fun or....?
2. How much her hatred for Cyrus go after FWAFL? Would she kill him or want to?
3. How much manipulative she is and how much could be if she tried? Could she pretend? emotions, relations, or even things like being dead? [3.5 Why she take knifeees?? girl!]
4. If someone happened to be...useful, how would she act?
5. If someone useful to her met....uhm...not good situation, how sympathetic she would? from a genuine [which i doubt] between a losing a important object like feeling to not giving a f, rate?
6. What was the worst thing she did? and finally
7. How persistent she is!
Oh and also we know she dont attack somoene she is intrueged with...but what about the people around? would she ignore them or...something worse (for them)
And about Cyrus!
1. Why he even took the job
2. Why he stayed?
3. What lux and pim think about him working there?
4. How fast and hard to lie Cyrus is? I mean by how fast he could discover that something dont adds up or that he is lied to?
5. If he didnt or could work for (short) amount of time at FunLands where would he work? or would he? or just waiting for reopening?

Btw I will probably call her Begonia when referring to her perspective and Laughable when referring to outside perspectives of the animatronic.

Begonia/Laughable
1. Fwafl Begonia would be obsessed with the idea of object possession and the land of the dead. Leading her to “experiments” where she’d try to replicate the phenomenon. And see how she can distort it. Control it. She may feel pity for some deaths if they’re unnecessary, seeing them as wasteful if they don’t end up possessing anything. Likely also why she kills so aggressively/gruesomely. The anger and fear involved in the death of the person may make the chances of possession better…. She’s also began to enjoy it though.
2. Begonia absolutely wants him dead after Fwafl, Tulip was a mistake that she lost control over due to him being the first adult she killed. (Print being the second oldest, dying at 17.) And Cyrus, brought him back. (Tulip and Laughable have a pretty intense rivalry here with the ending of Fwafl being a fire where-in Tulip fends Laughable off while the others escape the building. He nearly doesn’t make it out)
3. Absolutely and utterly manipulative, and not in the way where you can feel somethings off. She’ll run to you in a hug to congratulate your safety, comfort you when you’re sad. Change small details in the backgrounds if it means you keep believing her and keep being useful. She likes to stay in the peripheral however, not up in the face but off in the back. Someone you don’t think about too hard about, and therefore never question. Despite that, as soon as she believes you have nothing useful to her anymore. She cuts ties, ends the relationship.
That is of course, assuming you are not a threat to her, and have trusted her blindly the whole time.
…She’ll slaughter you the moment you realize her real intensions.
This is also where her game mechanic comes from, you have to trust that you wont be attacked as she’s following you out of sight. If you lose trust and she notices it then prepare to defend your life.
She’s not exactly someone who tries to ruin lives, though if getting you to end a relationship or a few is more beneficial to her situation, she wont hesitate.
Faking her own death to get what she wants is absolutely on the list btw. She’s also the reason the other bots seem to hate the nightguard, shes managed to manipulate them from a far. With Her being the one that game Volt the idea for a game where they hunt the nightguard. She just made him think it was his own idea, and that he wanted it.
4. I accidentally already answered this oops, earlier paragraphs. Depends on their usefulness but i feel like she would try to rig the whole “you owe me” system. Using the human nature to return favors against them. She’d be overly thankful for anything done for her, she doesn’t use fear to control people unless its absolutely necessary. (Tulips destruction both got him out of her way and stopped Oddy and Print from trying to do anything further, + the reason Print sleeps in hidden/locked rooms is because he’s afraid she’ll try to reprogram him again if he acts up. He’s already risked his safety quite a bit for Cyrus)
5. Not very sympathetic, she’d likely be annoyed at the inconvenience of losing that usefullness. If they’re dead or wouldn’t recover fast enough she’ll leave it. If they could recover fast enough to continue being usefull she’ll try her best to get them back up their feet, maybe even using the opportunity to try and change how they feel about the world. + Make it easier for them to do whatever she needs them to do. She’s fixed Jest a few times, he seems to become more violence-prone the longer he’s around her.
6. Theres a lot of things tied here, i mean she’s the Afton of FWAFL so killing kids and people is pretty high up. Though stuffing kids in animatronics to force possession likely wasn’t her first idea. There’s probably at least one (possessed) stuffed animal in her house thats stuck in a bird cage because they tried to escape. Yk its a lot of killing, I dont know. She (prior to possessing laughable) kept most of the murder away from her family and people she knew. Oh well i guess she also kind of designed the animatronics to be able to fit human bodies?? And the reason for most of their.. Suspiciously dangerous-looking traits.
7. Very persistent, laughable is the one who blocked the vents to the old parts and service using debris and also ripped the metal door down to stop it from being opened. She’s also been sabotaging all attempts to scrap Laughable, and broke out of her own protocols. dragged herself to a safe space durring a fire and also stole Tulips arm for the movement censors in them + controlled shock.

Cyrus
1. He needed money to help pay his portion of rent with Pim and Lux. He’d worked a few other jobs, (barista.. mall security…) but found most of them horribly boring and didn’t have anything to get into better jobs. He may have worked in an office briefly and that one nearly killed him.
2. Because he knows if he doesn’t do it, they’ll get a replacement. And the next nightguard may not be fortunate enough to survive and learn like he did. Initially he really did want to leave, but he began to realize that if it wasn’t him, it would be someone else. He didn’t take any vacation days up until his arm got broken because he was horrified of putting someone else in danger. Its also why he began following the FunLand company jobs, to try and stop the robots and to also stop someone else from getting hurt or killed. He’s very stubborn about this.
3. Initially they thought it was cool, Lux had been stoked to find out he got a job there. Lux was a little less enthusiastic when he found out it was a nightguard job but Pim thought it was neat and had been asking him to send photos of the creepy hallways and stuff. They were both bummed about Cyrus having to be asleep during the day. (Loss of hangout opportunities + having to be careful not to wake him) But considering the pay raise Cy would be getting they figured it was worth it.
Though, after Pim started nothing the shifts in Cyrus’s behaviour (hes always been the more perceptive out of the two) He began to get worried.
Cyrus started covering his arms and body more, stopped going out less, sounded exhausted when he was awake and stopped talking about his work. Saying something about breaking company policy, which hadn’t stopped him before. He also had stopped taking vacation days.
Pim had noticed Cyrus was returning to the apartment with injuries, though any attempts he made to try and get Cyrus to admit he had injuries failed.
Lux thought Cyrus had gone into depression and had been trying to do more nice things for himC he was the one to come up with the idea that they surprise Cyrus on his birthday by staying in the building past closing time. Since they knew Cyrus would still try to work, even on his birthday.
Then they found out.
Pim is pissed off at Cyrus for hiding that kind of thing from them, and also at him for staying, or not trying to sue the company, or just. Anything. Though his anger at Cyrus died down after finding out the kind of control FunLand Co had with his work contract. Pim never liked FunLand but he really really hates them now.
Lux is horrified, after that night all of his childhood memories of the place sort of came crashing down in a firey pit. Any family photos he had set up from having birthdays at FunLand have since been turned around and he tries not to focus on it. He’s been urging Cyrus to see a therapist or at least talk to them more but, he somewhat understands why Cyrus is still doing this. But his trust faltered after Cyrus broke his arm.
Cyrus has convinced them not to go to the police, (considering funland would have his head if he tried to sue them or anything. And then they’d replace him and well. Yk. Someone else goes missing.)
4. I think he was easier to lie to before the whole funland thing. After getting the job there and realizing what was happening he basically threw himself into FunLands history to try and get a grasp of what was going on. It’s made him more receptive of details and where they add up in what he all knows. But most of that is focused around what he finds at FunLand. He’s not exactly thinking about how stuff could be a lie while hes out ‘n about, but he’s still pretty trusting if someone doesn’t seem malicious.
So pretty easy to lie to, unless of course he already has reason to not trust you, or has information to reference that doesn’t add up with the lie. But it would take him a while since he’s not the best at reading body language. Though if its blatantly obvious its a lie he would know.
Uhh if i had to rate his lie detection from 0 (Blindly trusts even the worst lying) to 10 (Catches you within seconds of the lie) he would be like,, a 5/10
5. If he didn’t work at FunLand he may get a different type of security job, or maybe Pim and Lux would push him enough to pursue art in some way. Like a side gig doing paid/legal wall art (yk how people can be paid to do graffiti) or something. I think he’d be uncomfortable with the idea of doing tattoos. Might work in an arcade actually or bowling alley, those seem like fun things he’d be into. But if he had already worked at FunLand he’d probably wait for reopening.
6. He’s been worried about Print a few times, they don’t know eachother as well here since Print avoids him during the nightshift aside from the small help he offers. + Cy only sees Print if he runs into him on accident. Cyrus actually can’t tell how Print feels about him, Oddy is very obviously friendly but Print still acts pretty hostile even if he doesn’t attack Cyrus and has helped him the few times he has.
Cyrus interestingly cares quite a bit about him despite all that. Print has unintentionally and intensionally saved him from sticky situations a few times, and he also knows Oddy trusts/likes Print.
Print once ran out of power in the middle of the afternoon and was brought to parts n service to check for damage, immediatley after mentioning this to Oddy they both ran there.
7. Cyrus only has genuine interaction with Tulip after fixing him, since he didn’t know about tulip controlling the doors, and tulip also didn’t have enough power to talk in anything other than yes’s and no’s (using clicks) when Cy found him. Tulip actually wouldn’t even move while in the state he was in, it would drain too much power. He basically acted like a corpse, funnelling the small amount of power he had into watching the cameras and closing doors on the other bots to help Cy.
Before getting fixed Cyrus had seen/known about him a few times. Having fished out an old plushie while going through storage with Oddy. The plushie of which had been swiftly picked out of his hands by Oddy upon mentioning the different hat. Cyrus had seen his name/character info briefly on the tablet and also knew that Oddy and Print seemed to get antsy when the topic of decommission came up. (Kind of like glamrock bonnie situation, actually a lot like glamrock bonnie situation. I just realized how glamrock bonnie situation Tulip IS. wth, Hes missing an arm and part of his face too. And hes blue.)
Cyrus had also noticed how Oddy tends to get quite when close to the jammed door and Print stares at it (They both had thought Tulip was in the old P&S but neither of them could do anything to check due to their protocols. and had then began to give up.)
It was only really when Cyrus had managed to find a new battery for Tulip and had successfully swapped out the old one. Did he notice that the star on Tulip’s screens was the same one he had been seeing flash on the doors when they close.
Tulip ofc still couldn’t talk considering his voicebox had been destroyed in the process, but he explained quite a bit. Tulip had asked him not to tell Print about his survival, and figured it better he stay in the old P&S to avoid Laughable. So he helps from afar using the cameras and security system.
Cyrus cares quite a lot about him though after getting to know him, Oddy did eventually find out and had climbed through the vents to talk with Tul but Print didn’t know until the fire.
++ Tulip had actually tried to circumvent his programming so he could break stuff, it took a bit and he damaged a few other systems in the process but eventually managed to free himself of the constraints when the fire happened (Allowing him to straight up shove the metal door back into its slot to escape). Tulips also really frickin strong considering he was built for security against malfunctioning bots + dangerous people. Hes my fav Fwafl design aside from Begonia/Laughable.
8. Horrified, He’d be more scared for Oddy and Tulip actually but he’d also still have a boat load of worry for Print. I dont think he’d try to fix them (unless its tulip since he knows tulip has been forgotten about by FunLand) because Print and Oddy would both just go to Parts n Service. But his worry might follow him home, with him possibly talking to Pim and Lux about it. He cares about them quite a bit, Tulip actually ends up going home with him after the fire because Cyrus is worried FunLand will just scrap him and make a new one (Both Laughable and Tulip are very very damaged after the fire since Tulip was preventing her from injuring the others / escaping. He only left when part of the building collapsed on her.)
9. I’d say hes decently sympathetic, he ends up allowing Volt to stay during Fwafl 6 when hes trying to collect them all (like pokemon) Volt thinks hes an idiot for forgiving him but, hasn’t made any attempts to hurt him. Cyrus has somewhat forgiven most of the animatronics in fwafl 6 (few years after the events of fwafl) He doesn’t completely trust them but he’s let them stick around as long as they behave.
By the time of fwafl 6 the only one he still hates is Laughable, and by then he’s learnt more about her to justify that hate. (Fwafl 3 is where he’d begin learning most of their personal stories.)

Some use sticky notes, Some will even use nurse rhymes like Bondee's Barnyard, or some wont explain anything and just will hope you will figure it out.
| Well Tutorial Night Guard would be same type of lemon. Before night you could play a easier version of this night just to learn mechanics, those nights dont count as normal.
| While playing it you would be allowed to one mistake before death, Which is where the Rebel ability to not die after losing limb come! :D It's would work like parry. When you are attacked, you won't die but will lose arm and with that some mobility.
[A trivia! At first i though about making Reb a intern or janitor but that version had more logic for later heh....]
Also when On Tutorial/Rebel Night the animatronics Ai Value would be lower, same like chances of seeing Laughable. Before Cyrus got job and FunLands Rebel already got Transferred to the day shift because of "damage to property", to which Rebel would argue loudly as he didn't caused any damage, if not the fact that day shift was...even Less Exhausting than before as he not only was at day shift but also not only one on day shift.

∆Repaired Laughable∆
What difference have repaired Laughable and FWAFL Laughable? First of all let'stake turn on looks as it won't take long.
Tulip arm which Laughable took and replaced own arm with, have been Installed for good, and configured with the rest. Some old parts were replaced, while the "scar" of Laughable maybe not exactly got fixed but more sewn.
As for physical changes hehe. Well let's start with noise. While the old Laughable was all qeuit, the new one may have sound clue of claws against wood in some places as it's hand was literally recalibrated to her. You think it's make her easy? Hehehe.....take another geus. Remember how original Laughable was fast? Well now imagine it twice it, plus can give a long chase.
It's may seem not much but remember that those were made by sleep deprived 21 old.

One night Cyrus get call, where he is asked by fellow coworker if he seen any animatronic being...well not being in their place before leaving? Apparently now had people noticed something. Later he gets aske.d from work to follow to new location- which still need remaking before being functional- and try search this place up and then report. He have Five weeks to fully study this place, and when he do- he will get paid no matter if he find somet.hing or not. Mun.ch. As long he dont do damage to property and bring reports.

The thing is that in this new place some old ''friend" may wait for Cyrus.
(From Gameplay I would say it's more like Fnaf Mimic except Cyrus don't spend all day here. He can come any day he want but it's much be at least once a week)
As for the middle of it it's something everyone probably expected. Begonia going to make all suffer. How? I won't spoil now but I got a lot planned same like bad ending and good ending. (Probably gonna make bad one true ending but don't worry. Cyrus ain't gonna be one hurt most in it*)

(i took the opportunity to yap about almost all my lore... theres a lot missing but holy theres a lot here too)
OKAY SO I DOnt relaly know how to answer the first question without getting sidetracked so im gonna explain the general idea and hope that gets it??
Five Weeks At FunLand AU (FWAFL)
FWAFL is my FNAF inspired au where all of my partygoer ocs are animatronics, and then Cyrus is the nightguard. The FunLand location is actually its own thing, being bigger than fnaf 1 and 2 but not nearly the size of the pizzaplex from Security Breach. There are also most definitely other locations with different nightguards.
The au is mostly inspired by the first 2 fnaf locations, where in the animatronics are possessed, and you work the nightshift.
However it's also somewhat inspired by fnaf SB since the way you/Cyrus progresses through the night is different (and the tech is more advanced)
To finish a shift/progress through the night, the nightguard has to go check every room in the building and hold up a little watch/data-card to a scanner in the room. It takes about 5 seconds and then the room is considered checked on the map. Check every room and you finish a shift successfully. Miss one and you get your pay docked </3 ..unless you're dead.
But basically: It follows closer to the idea of the first 2 fnaf games, except it also takes from SB with the open world and high tech. Oh and the company running it also has an animated cartoon.
++ it is five weeks because i figured 5 days was NOT enough time to have all of the lore I wanted, felt too rushed and i wanted to keep the "5" pattern. Might be a little overkill LOL but cyrus will live :)

FunLand employee contract has utilized loopholes that somehow allow them to stop people from quitting until 5 weeks pass. If you quit or don't show up they can essentially call the police on you and have good reason.
Cyrus gets minimal pay but for the first 5 weeks he's only receiving about 50% of what he would actually get.
How do the partygoers work here?
The partygoers are pretty high tech animatronics compared to fnaf 1 and 2 (but dont have as much of the technical abilities as the animatronics from SB)
At day they perform and do whatever their assigned tasks or events are, at night they power down to charge and get bolted to their stages. ...Unfortunately they do seem to have figured out how to unbolt themselves..
Each of the partygoers have protocols installed that stop them from damaging themselves or FunLand property, so they cant purposely break stuff. They can move things around but it has to be done in a manner that won't destroy it.
All of them are possessed (similar to pre-SB) with a different slaughterer being behind it. Though the amount each of them remembers who or what happened before is different (similar to how my current PG's work)
As for physical anatomy of the partygoers, they're mostly metal but have fabric/cloth/stuffy-like exteriors on some parts (i have pictures that i'll end up putting below...)
Where the teeth would be on a normal partygoer, they instead have like-- spiral teeth that open (mechanical iris type mechanism??) which allow for them to blow up balloons and attach strings to them.
Balloon maker in handsss!!! that accidentally doubles as teeth / saws for grabbing people.. </3 (the art is gonna be so helpful i think)
They're also incapable of seeing screens, the ones on the doors or tablets or phones are black in their vision.
Why attack the nightguard + Why is there a nightguard?
It's more of a game to them than revenge. But due to past experiences they only have hate towards the nightguards. Volt was initially the one who suggested they just try to scare the nightguards away, though no one knows where he got the idea from... And it seems to have progressed into a killing game since then.. A few of them don't actually want the nightguard dead but those ones aren't exactly the most open about it.
FunLand mostly needs a nightguard because of past repeated attempts to break in, there used to be an animatronic to accompany the human one as back up.
There are a few others who have been nightguard before,
Thirds was a nightguard at a different location, The last nightguard before Cyrus (missing), and Mav (who's less of a jerk here and works the dayshift) once filled in for Cyrus when he broke his arm. To which he found a lengthy audiotape stashed in the Nightguard locker. (Mav considers Cyrus insane here for keeping the job after the 5 weeks.)
The audiotape actually has the information of the next section.
What roles do each partygoer have?
HHEHEHEJHEHEEEE OKAY so technically since Cyrus has to leave the office, each of the partygoers have their own ways of being avoided / hunting him.
Cyrus has also taken the time to assign each of them a danger level and how to avoid /escape them in his notes.
Volt: Hes the main one, freddy fazbear. He's more of a magician/performer/singer/actor.
Danger: 3/5
Volts footsteps through the halls are decently loud it's not that hard to avoid him, however he's rather perceptive and will usually hear you if you aren't careful.
How to escape: Volts a fast runner (chaser) but struggles with making sharp turns, If you can run him around enough corners you'll be able to lose him. Just be careful not to let him run you into a dead end. He's able to be dodged in close corners due to his lack of foresight into his actions but its unadvised.

Marble: A rival to Volt, inspired somewhat by foxy's concept but doesn't follow his pattern. He's a thief who's constantly trying to steal stuff from volt / mess up his acts. Has a pirate/thief themed room.
Danger: 2/5
Marble wont give chase, unlike Volt he likes to stick in places that get passed through often (ambusher). Be careful around open doorways.
However unlike their daytime counterparts, Volt and Marble actually often try to work together. Marble attempting to block exits for Volt to corner the nightguard. Sometimes the two hatch plans to give chase in specific areas that are easier to block exits too.
Attempting to run through a doorway where Marble is situated will have him grab you, unless Volt is nearby (inwhich he'll throw you to him) its gameover.
Bonus: not actually active every night, usually doesn't wake up if theres events the next day.

Jelly: The cook!! Chica the Chicken but he doesn't leave the kitchen and also has a cleaver..
Danger: 2/5 1/5
Considering he doesn't leave the kitchen, avoiding him is impossible unless you decide to skip checking the kitchen. However it's possible to bargain with him for temporary access. Cyrus brings him the daily newspaper as a piece offering since he likes the recipe section.
Bonus: He hates having the other partygoers (aside from PB) in the kitchen just as much as he hates cyrus being in the kitchen. So your safe from the others as long as he's not gonna kill you.

PB: Nutcracker?? Hes like the police here, often chasing away Marble during their daytime in-character skits. Seems to be more of a medical animatronic though. Safety focused and also has bandaids/supplies stashed on him.
Danger: 0/5
Doesn't seem to care at all about the nightguard stuff, almost never awake during the night but when he is he's in the kitchen with Jelly. More friendly and makes small talk, (unlike jelly who stares daggers at Cyrus if he's over-enjoying his stay)
Seems to have a knack for fashion that isn't in his original coding.

Oddy: Local Clown! he does performing and tricks, hes also much smaller than the others.
Danger: 0/5
Oddy is a helper, he's first to wake up in the night and is usually always awake. Hes one of the few nice ones but doesn't directly try to help out of fear of the others, hes good for a quick chat before shift though <3
Being a smaller animatronic has its perks, hes almost always up in the vents, his bells being a dead give away for him. The daytime employees can't seem to figure out how he gets so dusty.

Jest: Local Jester! acting partner to Oddy, they have their own stages but frequently do duo acts.
Danger: 2/5
Jest is odd, he doesn't try to kill on sight. Rather he tries to set up games to trap you in that have pretty bad consequences if you fail. Cyrus nearly had a heart-attack the one time the stage lights of the theatre turned on and focused on him.
Sometimes resorts to using the vents to try and find the nightguard, doesn't have any bells. (Hide)
Jest wont kill you himself but instead get one of the other animatronics to. He's also not often awake.
Bonus: Him and Oddy, despite being "bestest friends" in the cartoon and for acting. Really don't like eachother here, whenever they run into eachother during the night it usually results in bickering. Oddy is a good distraction for sneaking out of or avoiding Jests games.

Print: Walking Jungle-gym of the bunch, she's a lot softer than the other animatronics due to her interaction with kids in the play area.
Danger: 0/5
Print doesn't attack or hunt, he shows up far less than the others, being a very big animatronic means it takes more power to move. and he moves a lot during the day.
He's by far the most different during the day, leaving Cyrus completely confused after talking with his manager who referred to Print as "she". Apparently the original animatronic and character design is a girl??? Who knew. Most of the animatronics seem to accept that Print doesn't follow the gender of the original character and swap accordingly during the day and night... Aside from jest who seems to constantly mix up which pronouns to use. (He's been to parts and service on more than one occasion due to calling print he during the day)
He also doesn't seem to like charging in the play area and instead can often be found slumped in supply closets and different employee-only areas to charge.
Print is by far the most helpful of the bunch, having given Cyrus the tazer (not in his contract to have) as well as the funcam (also not in his contract to have.) Both of which Cyrus has hidden away in his locker since he fears bringing them out of the building will set off an alarm. Also stopped Volt from attacking him during the day once.
Bonus: Print has a silly nightcap that he uses when sleeping,

Tulip: [OUT-OF-ORDER] Friendly neighborhood security! While PB is a policeman for show, this guy will actually be the one to walk you out of the building if you break a rule. He's got a bunch of touch-pad screens on him that allow for emergency connection to the security systems. (though at least one employee has tried to see if they could play doom on it.)
His right arm has access to the movement detection systems, while his left has access to the cameras. He's able to open and close metal doors around the building.
Danger: N/A
The old parts n service room has been jammed shut for the longest time, attempts to re-open it were futile and the vents have been blocked off too. No one knows how the metal door got jammed, only the bots are strong enough to do that and they have protocols that stop them. FunLand had been wanting to build a better parts n service anyways so they took the opportunity gladly.
Unlike the other rooms, the old P&S room is excluded from needing to be checked,, due to lack of access to it.
The animatronics don't talk much about it.
Sometimes during chases from the other animatronics, the doors will close behind you cutting them off. Cyrus doesn't know why this happens, though he could have sworn he saw the LED screens flash a star for a second.

Laughable: [DUE-FOR-DECOMMISION] Springtrap A bright and cheery animatronic, she loves bringing cakes around and telling jokes to the visitors!
Danger: 5/5
IGNORE IT IGNORE IT IGNORE IT, If you feel like something is following you in the halls Ignore It. Don't try to do anything, your safer leaving it be. You'll be able to tell when its there because the other animatronics will avoid you.
And may whatever god you believe in be on your side, because as soon as she knows you know she's there. It's too late.
It's faster, somehow. Quieter, too. You can hear the metal from the other animatronics as they move but this one is dead silent, even when running.
Whatever you do don't turn your back to it, if you have a tazer, use it. It likes to throw objects, often breaking them. But any pay-docking you would get during the day for the damages never seem to come.
She's been overdue for decommission for a long time, but for some reason every time efforts are made to follow through with that something gets in the way. Its either severely bad luck, but Cyrus is pretty sure she's the one doing it.
Cyrus doesn't know how it can stay on his trail for so long, he has half a mind to guess it can somehow detect his movements. But he doesn't know.
Theres no mention of it during the day and whatever records of it seem to be wiped, the only reason he knows its name is because of the Active Animatronic List the funcam provides. The specific one he got seems to have been broken out of the camera app. The digital depiction of the character being light blue doesn't seem to match the faded white of the actual animatronic..

Yeah pretty much, they still retain their traits from the backrooms but they exist alongside humans.
Cyrus shares an apartment with Pim and Lux, out of the 3 of them though he's out cold for most of the day since he works nightshift.
They like to organize plans together when Cyrus is off. They both have work they go to as well though so its hard sometimes.
+ Cyrus keeps receiving hush money from FunLand so he has a bit extra to spare, usually gets coffee before his shift. He's got a car <3
Would there be an incident between Cyrus and Begonia like in canon?
She actually already hates him quite a bit, she's 90% of his uses of the tazer he got from Print <3
She got him back once =)
Mav had to fill in the nightguard shift for him while he recovered from that.
But technically there would be an incident that causes her to hate him more, that being the fact he ends up fixing Tulip and undoing all her hard work.. </3

Sequel Prequel thingy
On my end I technically do have art for a fnaf 3 concept as well as a bit of fnaf 6 concept <3 but those are the only two I plan on having cus its Cyrus related. (trying to follow the FunLand franchise for answers and then get rid of Begonia for good in 6)
You can totally make your own inspired sequel/prequel though! :O You could also make your own fnaf au too if you want :] I dont own the idea, I just had the thought one day of "damn I like fnaf a lot rn but also partygoers... wait, what if i mix them." and suddenly it existed. Honestly you can take the idea of the funland company and just be a different location if u wish too. Funland is basically just,, level fun LOL, I'm not very original </3.

Non-night shift details?
None of the dayshift employees aside from the supervisor/manager and Mav have seen Cyrus. They know theres a nightguard but none of them have met him.
In the employees breakroom theres a big bulletin board with notes on it about different stuff, Cyrus occasionally puts stuff up there, post-it notes and things in reply to the conversations up there. Once saw a note asking if anyone knew if the nightguard was cute or not this time LOL.
Kyros doesn't like funland,
Lux likes funland, hes been there a few times. They have good food.
Pim hasn't been, thinks the animatronics are creepy.
Cyrus managed to get himself Print merchandise once.
The one time Cyrus did go to funland during the day was for a small meeting with his supervisor, in which, Volt managed to back him up into an area in a camera blindspot and nearly killed him. (Print stopped him.)
Cyrus has came home a few times from his shifts with wounds/bruises/injuries. The worst one was the broken arm, but hes got more than just a few bandages hidden under his clothing. Especially on the arms.
Pim and Lux once managed to hide in FunLand past closing so they could wish Cyrus happy birthday, that was how they found out about the whole thing. And also terrified Cyrus half to death.
Print has a rainbow multicolored marker given to him by Cyrus.

Interestingly, this is the only au where you consistently see Cyrus's hair, (thats gotta be so weird for yall... I'm used to it) His hair used to be rainbow dyed actually but I changed it to be black when I turned the partypoopers into shadow/silhouette people.
The two standing over the couch in the one doodle are pim and lux actually, pim is the taller one, lux has the poofy hair.
Some of my tulip stuff from the art is outdated, being that he has to be CONSTANTLY plugged in to an emergency cable in the old P&S room otherwise he'll power down within seconds. He barely moves in there because hes trying not to take any further damage but eventually ends up crawling to the door to tap out an S-O-S when he knows cyrus is nearby. To which case Cyrus spends forever in the vents himself trying to dig out the blockage.
And also he punches begonia Laughable in the face when he leaves P&S :))

Something is missing, But what?
Print paced down the hallway, letting the sunlight heat his skin as he trudged through the grass beneath his feet.
His whole week had gone fine, in fact even the week before that had been fine. He'd ate, slept a little, baked some stuff, killed some people. The usual. But outside of that it was… boring.
He was used to this feeling, but this time it felt almost deeper..
What else had he done?
Saw Tulip briefly, (thankfully Tulip hadn't seen him)
Took a walk through the far far outskirts of level 63's clouds.. away from all the wanderers.
Scowered the internet for any mentions of partypoopers.
Huh. That reminds him, he should ask Cyrus about the rumors of a partypooper in Thalassaphobia next time he sees them.
Print pauses, snapping out of his tranced walk. He hadn't actually seen Cyrus recently. It wasn't uncommon for the guy to screw off for a month or so, that couldn't be it. Could it?
Come to think of it he hadn't actually checked if Cyrus had texted him recently either. The lack of notifications always bugged him, but this was easier than making his own account.. phonenumber. whatever, just so Cyrus could send him nearly incomprehensible messages.
Suppose it couldn't hurt to check. The stained partygoer finds a spot near a wall to sit, getting comfy in the grass before… hesitating. The level he was in was known to be rather devoid of entities and wanderers. But it still nagged him that he could be seen through the hallways.
Even with the mental radar allowing him to sense other entities beyond walls and rooms, it still felt uncanny.
He sighs, rubbing the tension out of his shoulders before destabilizing himself, and noclipping a stolen PDC out of his chest. It was an odd trick but a useful one, allowing him to hold items without needing a bag.
Though this laptop and a charger for it was perhaps the only thing he really kept on him nowadays..
It didn't take long for the machine to start up, the net explorer already open to Cyrus's messages from the last time he had used it. Rereading through the past few sent, it was the same as last time. Nothing new from Cyrus.

The message was short, accompanied by a time and signature that he had long since gotten in the habit of adding. Cyrus had insisted they use it to tell their messages apart, given that Print was using his account and it was essentially an empty DM.
He didn't expect a reply, nor did he get one. You can't exactly get notifications from yourself anyways so it'll probably take a while for Cyrus to see it. This was normal, unfortunately and annoying normal. So he closed the PDC, returning it to its noclipped space and picked himself back up to return to his walk.
He had liked this level, albeit not as much as his last go-to. It consisted of long halls and scarce rooms. Adorned by grand stained glass windows that casted rainbows across the vibrant flowers of the ground below. The level was oversized, making any human feel small, with crystal suncatchers that would hang high above their head. Though for Print they would smack straight into his face, one of the two reasons he didn't favor it over the last go-to. The other being that he was forced to crush the plants he stepped on, at least he had walkways before..
Before,
Print feels his fur stand a bit on end, it was the only time he had ever missed something. And the worst possible time to ever miss something. The level wasn't gone. But.. he had gotten too comfortable, missed her presence. It wasn't safe there anymore. Not for him or for Cyrus who had followed him occasionally. Print throws his hands behind his head to stretch in an attempt to ease the anxiety. Only to knock his arms into the ceiling and suncatchers.
Okay.
Three reasons he didn't like this place as much. Hanging crystals in his face, Has to step on plants, and its too small for him.
So much for a stress-free escape.
Print huffs, pulling the PDC out a second time to check. Finding his own message still staring him back in the face. He sends in another

Print freezes his action at the new notification, having read it on accident. Taking a minute to contemplate, He nervously opens the laptop back up. Staring at the notification. Come to think of it, there were.. A lot of unread message pings here.
Print felt his gut wrench a little, this was weird even for Cyrus.

Again, he said he wouldn't intrude.

Shit he hadn't thought about how his presence on Cyrus's account would cause it to show as active. hhrmmm.. Pim Hates him, something hes rather glad for if he had to be honest. although not in this situation.

Print cringes at the harsh language, holding brief solace in the fact its not directed at him… Yet.
He sits down in the grass of the level, seating the laptop on his legs to scroll just a small bit up the chat history, so much for not intruding.
Theres a few messages of Pim asking what was taking him so long, with Cyrus replying sluggishly that stuff changed.
that was… 2 weeks ago.
Okay this is uncomfortable.
Muttering a brief apology to no one, Print types something into the chat.

Pim's typing bubble disappears near instantly. Before returning.

Print pauses, the sudden shift being unlike Pim, he had expected to get cussed out for being in their dms not... whatever this is. Okay somethings wrong.

It takes a few moments for the typing bubble to reappear, though it lingers for much longer this time.

Yeeahh hes gonna, just ignore that dismissal. Unfortunately for Pim he's decided that Cyrus's whereabouts now concerns him.
Okay, so then. Where is Cyrus?
Lets see.. list of places Cyrus could be. A lot. Unfortunately a very lot.
Dark levels, neons, anything without water, arcades, schools, houses. Well actually he would be avoiding wanderers as well as partygoers. So that cuts down the list.
What else does he know?
Cyrus usually leaves for adventure, he likes climbing and traversing hard to traverse levels. 8? No too many wanderers. Unless they can't see him in the dark of the caves. As far as hes aware the higher traffic levels are off limits here.

This is annoying.
His options are to either text Pim (intrusive), check cyrus's other dms for where he could have gone (also intrusive), wander aimlessly through levels until he finds a trace of Cyrus (maybe?) aaaanddd do nothing (not happening.)
Print huffs, as much as he'd like to magically know exactly where Cyrus would be. He doesn't actually know Cyrus that well…
What if Cyrus is dead?
The thought hits him like a freight train, Cyrus isn't the brightest bulb, but hes not stupid enough to get himself killed...

Unless he was caught off guard, also uncommon but.. Not unlikely. ..Or he could have tripped into another level.
Print feels his gut wrench, he may not have liked Cyrus at the beginning but.. While he hates to admit it, Cyrus has grown on him through their time not trying to kill each other.
Damn it.
Standing here is doing nothing.
Print shoves away the PDC before noclipping himself through the levels flooring. Might as well start somewhere.

Every entity has a presence, sometimes you'll find traces of it even after they're long gone, luckily for him he knows Cyrus's presence all too well to miss it.
Print pushes himself through the narrow hallways of the smooth tiled sub-level, It's been multiple hours since he started searching, and he had been perceptive enough to recognize the faded signature some levels back. But that didn't make the process any less bothersome.
This place was tight, hard to traverse. And it was part of 37, Sublimity.
Full of water.
..One of the things he had marked off of his list due to Cyrus's aversion to such liquid.
Though this particular section is drained of it and completely dry, so he supposes that checks out.
No monsters either.
Sometimes he wonders if there are entities out there that can copy signatures..
A few more rooms later and he feels the familiar presence off in the distance above him, relief washing over him as he treks towards it.
The particular area is narrow, with Cyrus being somewhere above him in the staircase he currently resides at the bottom of.
Print opens his mouth to call out for Cyrus but hesitates. It had been radio-silent since he got here, even his own foot steps failing to make much noise. No water swishing, not even the buzz of the lights. Come to think of it, it was suffocatingly silent.
One of those situations where the longer one stays silent the less comfortable it feels to talk..
He doesn't exactly want to scare the partypooper, though come to think of it. Showing up in front of him quietly might be even more heart-attack inducing.
Print takes a breath, steeling himself.
"Cyrus?" the sound echos off the walls louder than he thought it would, his own fur sticking up at the uncomfortable noise. Through it however, he can hear shuffling from above.
Print keeps his eyes trained on the stairwell above him. Deciding to talk much quieter this time.
"I uh.."
He falters, he really had no reason to come find the guy other than his own anxiety. Cyrus is allowed to be alone, is this intrusive too? Shit. Too late now.
"I'm gonna.. come up the stairwell," he starts "if thats okay with you?"
the silence drags on, until he hears a small voice above.
"..sure."
Okay good, Cyrus is here. Hes also rather quiet but its likely the silence of the level getting to him just like it did with Print.
Print makes his way up the stairs, keeping an eye above him for Cyrus.
He almost misses the blue jacket tucked around the doorway in the corridor, halting his movement up the flight to return down to the level with the hall.
"Are you alright?" he asks, taking note of Cyrus's crouched silhouette. They seem to be sitting away from him.
it takes Cyrus another few seconds to reply
"Why did you come find me?" he sounds choked, Print can just barely see him move his arms up to his mask around the corner.
"…Would you believe me if I… Wait, are you crying?" The slight sniffling from Cyrus briefly stopping as he attempts to quiet himself.
"Holy shit, Cy what happened?" Print reaches to enter the corridor but pauses, Cyrus probably needs space.
..
"I just… I'm sorry," he groans, trying to wipe his tears off of his face "I'm just frustrated, it's fine. It's not your fault."
"It doesn't sound fine.. aghk, I'm not that good at comforting, uh.. I can leave… If thats bett--"
"Nonono its.. I'm glad your here. Please stay."
"Kay.." Print sits himself down next to the hallway, "Sorry I don't know how to help,"
"Your fine-- dont even worry about it"
The two sit in silence for a while, Despite him being here supposedly being enough, Print can't help but feel somewhat guilty at his uselessness in the situation..
He shifts, feeling uncomfortable. But still checking on Cyrus ever now and then. Maybe he should delete the messages he sent Cy while hes here... Would that be rude? Hell, he doesn't know.
Cyrus is still sniffling away tears behind him and here he is, saying nothing.. fuckk.
"I just don't--" Cyrus starts, catching print off-guard "I don't understand? I had handled it perfectly fine… This shouldn't be- happening!" He waves his hands out in front of him trying to grasp at nothing. "I thought It was fine-- I was fine! I dont get why I'm crying over it now!" Cyrus shudders as he wipes more tears from his eyes. "I even knew it was gonna happen Print. I knew it was! I thought I had already come to terms with it. I let it happen!"
"Woah, woah. Let what happen?"
Cyrus takes a deep breath, pushing through his own sobs "Okay.. theres, I'm sorry I gotta explain here.. Theres this other partypooper I know, I'm not friends with him. His name is Mav-- and he's always sort of... tried to get on my bad side, I never mentioned him because It wasn't an issue. I never let him get to me."
"He wanted to spar with me, 3 weeks ago and I knew he was going to try some shit. And I knew that, I really did know that. So I-- ..I told Pim and Lux about it so that they would come with.. And they told me not to and I told them it was fine-- and that I'd handle it, right? and--"
"I kept winning actually, The whole thing is that you have to pin the other down! that was the rules. And he kept getting up and telling me he wasn't done yet.. I don't know how many times-- maybe 5?? 6?? But then it got really bad.. Like.. I knew it would be bad, I knew he didn't like me but I didn't know he- ... I didn't know he hated me enough to de-mask me..."
Print feels his heart sink, slowly turning to Cyrus, "..What?" knowing all well the implications of the action.
"I already knew he was gonna do it.. The entire 'spar' he had been aiming for the face. I'd have been stupid not to know. But I figured I could play his game.. Right? Point him out, flip him upside down.. I dont know! whatever I could do to show him that hes not-- not what he thinks he is?? I dont know-- I-"
Cyrus's words break down into choked sobs as he tries to regain himself, print gives him the time to do so.
"...He got a lucky hit in.. and it broke at the weak spot.. and I don't know-- How it broke! It shouldn't have! Our masks are very durable I don't-- I don't understand-- but whatever right?! he broke it! right in half."
"..And there was a crowd around us.. and I hadn't noticed Pim and Lux had gone to get some of the veterans for help. and they didn't know what to do. I dont know.. maybe the whole outpost was fuckin there I dont know--"
"You know what I was even lucky too! you know how fast I flipped my own hoodie over my face?! No one saw it!"
Cyrus takes a minute to breathe,
"And he kept going. Trying to fight me while I couldn't see, and the others didn't try to stop him. I mean it was a spar after all- You don't interrupt spars. But maybe it was a test or something, maybe they wanted to see what I would do? I dont know either. I almost felt like I didn't want them to help because I could handle it myself too right?! right! of course I fucking could! And I did. Even after he got my hoodie off, baring my fucking head for the whole world to see you know what I said?! I said 'Jeez Mav if you wanted to see my face so badly you could have at least asked me out to dinner first!' I handled it like a fucking CHAMP Print!"
Print grimaced at the mere image of it, de-masking a partypooper was like a public execution.. but any words he tries to say dry up in his mouth.. Making another mental apology towards the partypooper behind him.
"..and the whole time he was telling me I was a disgrace.. a shame. y'know.. the things that you become when you get de-masked. I don't know what kind of point he was trying to prove to himself but I didn't let him. I didn't let it affect me, I just went on with it. y'know.. like whatever. sure. right. you do you.. and he couldn't say anything. I dont remember much of what I said, something like 'are you happy now?' I dont know. And he just.. took off" Cyrus made a wave with his hands for emphasis.
"Kyros said I did good, but that I shouldn't have let Mav go that far. That I should have signaled for the spar to end." Cyrus's tears have long since dried, the exhaustion setting in "he hugged me after it all, apologized that he.. I dont know.. well I do know I just.."
Cyrus groans into his arms
"I hate this."
Print leans around the corner of the wall to look back into the corridor.
"I.. dont know what to say," he grits his teeth at his own inability "I'm gonna uh, come over there. I won't look at you-- assuming your mask is still broken."
"You can look, its fine. It's not like it matters at this point right?" he forces a laugh.
"..I think your privacy matters very much still. Even after that." Print shuffles himself through the tight corridor up next to Cyrus.
"Listen Print, I don't ca--"
He's cut off by long soft arms wrapping around him, pulling him into a hug. Prints cheek pressing into the back of his hood.
Cyrus brings his hands up to hold the sides of prints arm, trying, and failing to hold back all the emotions resurfacing, the thank you being lost in ugly tears and long sobbing.

Anwyays anyways extra stuff, Print thinks Cyrus handled the situation horribly however at the moment hes more concerned about Cyrus.
Also if cyrus looks weird here its because his jacket isn't flipped! (double siddedd jacckkeeett, its on the dark side when hes out. Thats also the side that has the rainbow splat from his previous design.)
