QUESTIONS THAT MAKE ME WONDER IF CONFORMITY GATE IS REAL
1.) why aren’t any episodes past volume 1 registered legally?
cg answer: so they can replace the episodes on netflix and not be legally liable for false advertising
2.) why did people buy concession tickets to watch the finale in theaters? they didn’t do this for other netflix films (kpop demon hunters for example). basically ppl bought popcorn and a drink so none of the money went to netflix, only to the theaters
cg answer: so netflix cannot be legally liable for false advertising and making ppl buy tickets for a finale that wasn’t actually a finale
3.) why aren’t the duffers or netflix addressing the theory AFTER it was created and gone viral with multiple major media outlets? outside of changing bios on social media to say “all episodes airing” they haven’t denounced shit. even the variety article today did not cite shit from netflix or the duffers or the cast, they cited the bios on social media (this does not include them saying ‘who has the time to record multiple endings’ because that interview wasn’t addressing this theory. that interview was done before vol2 even aired)
cg answer: because it’s real
non cg answer: embarrassment? bad pr?
4.) why did the duffers and actors claim multiple things would be addressed and/or show up in season 5 IN THE LEAD UP TO VOLUME ONE that never showed up? (barbs body being in the season, the play playing a role/patty newby, the telekinesis on the byers’ lock, the painting having closure, a deep dive into will’s trauma like with lonnie, jonathan helping will get something he wants, etc.) they claim nothing was cut… so?
cg answer: these scenes will show up in the surprise episodes
non cg answer: they lied and did cut a lot because some of these claims were made in like October/November 2025. that’s too soon for a script switch
5.) the red scripts are for finales and yet we saw behind the scene footage of the cast with white scripts for the finale. they were holding red scripts in entirely different outfits (both out of character outfits AND in character outfits but we never saw the in character outfits in season 5)
cg answer: the finale wasn’t the finale
non cg answer: they cut the scenes with the other outfits and they were inconsistent with script printing. some scripts were white and some were red
6.) why aren’t cast members being asked a lot about stranger things in their interviews recently? it’s like the pr suddenly vanished
cg answer: because it’s not over
non cg answer: maybe to avoid backlash? maybe they maxed out their marketing funds?
