the monster in me loves the monster in you by me!
Theo Raeken has something special—not to himself; no, he’s just a simple guy in a quiet, unremarkable town. Not to Liam Dunbar and Kira Yukimura, though. To them, Theo is special; magical. And they have to have him, one way or another. Theo will end up liking it; after all, he won’t have a choice.
“If you’re smart, you’ll follow the rules. Otherwise...”
dark fic; rarepairs; explicit (read if you want to :)
reading isn't enough I need to swallow the book whole
regulus doesnt know what he expects when he casts a patronus; he knows its meant to be a guardian, but he expects, watching others, something like him too, maybe
something subtle or small; something soft even
out of his wand though, comes a big black dog, a grim, really and he's almost amused by the irony of his guardian being a death omen
but this grim is unlike any other grim he's heard of, panting, barking, chasing his own tail, rubbing his face against regulus' leg
its also very unlike him; instead its bright and happy, full of energy
he misses the dog, his patronus, when he stops being able to cast the charm more than even the ability; though he knows the loss of the ability signals a change within him
in all the timelines where he gets a happier ending, he regains the ability to cast, the ability to have happy memories
the talk of patronus charms comes up, once, when he's left his house, is with sirius and remus now, them and their friends
regulus, off-handedly mentions that his patronus is unlike what he'd expected, very un-regulus, in his opinion
when he demonstrates, he expects a few jokes at his expense, or someone to come up with a reason; he doesn't expect an armful of sirius, looking teary eyed and touched

#4 emails part 8
I just wanted to share some emails sent back and forth about my fic Sense of a Foreshortened Future because I need inspiration to start writing it again. In these emails it's referred to as #4 because it was the fourth Thiam fic I ever started writing. I will do my best to remove what I think is spoilers.
helloooooo, I'd like more mutuals please
my main squeeze is teen wolf but I love A LOT of stuff
aftg gets me going and Merlin takes up my mind
love writing anything for Harry Potter/Marauders that would make jkr die inside
The Seven are my children (and that works for Dimensions 20 and PJO)
I think the maze runner could be a lot more gay and angsty
and I have a lot of opinions about the hunger games both books and movies
This Or That
@thiamsxbitch thank you for the tag
audiobook or podcast?
I'm partial to audiobooks (currently listening to ready player one), but I do enjoy a good ttrpg pod or something like the magnus archives
swimming pool or beach?
I like swimming pools better for actually swimming, but there's just something about a beach that I love. Those cold rocky beaches that you have to wear a rain coat at and that are always overcast. it wonderful to hear the harsh crashes of the water as it collides with huge rocks or the bottom of a cliff as you sit on a massive piece of bleached drift wood. to go exploring in tide pools or in a forest that's so close you can still smell the salty water. I live for that shit.
winter or summer?
winter all the way. I live in the devil's ass crack and it's far too hot in the summers. I also love winter sports
fall or spring?
fall. the colors changing is just so beautiful. it's also nice as a depressed person for everyone to suddenly understand my melancholy.
dine in or dine out
restaurants are usually loud and bright and just generally over stimulating, I much prefer to eat in.
movies or tv shows
I love TV shows. I just feel like I can connect with the characters so much better.
paperbacks or hardcovera
as much as I love hardcovers, I don't take care of my books well enough to pay for them
dragons or unicorns
dragons all the way for me. if you love dragons and political intrigue and lesbians I'd suggest reading the priory of the orange tree
sweet or salty
even though I sit here eating chocolate I will have to be saying salty
singing in the shower or singing in the car
I can turn up my base in my new car so loud that it vibrates the windows. I will never pass that up
dark chocolate or milk chocolate
dark chocolate but honestly I don't have a hard opinion on that
movie date or dinner date
movie date where you end up talking over the movie the whole time
introvert or extrovert
it's even hard for me to make friends being anonymous on the internet, so introvert
train or plane
both are great!! I'm down with any form of public transportation, but where I am trains aren't an accessible form of transportation (long distance or short) so planes
Christmas or Halloween
not big into holidays but if I had to choose Halloween. it has better movies
concert or sports game
I love a good sports game but I would never spend hundreds of dollars on one like I would with a concert
rollercoaster of Ferris wheel
rollercoaster. I absolutely love the drop you get in your stomach as you go down. being lifted slightly out of your seat and feeling weightless is wonderful
sunrise or sunset
the west coast has some seriously beautiful sunsets
river or lake
counter offer: a river running into a lake
tattoos or piercings
so hard to choose, so I won't. give me both.

Fic: Sense of a Foreshortened Future | Chapter: Dancing Men
The silence in the car felt comfortable. They’d been stuck in traffic on I5 for the last hour, some sort of crash up ahead. Liam didn’t really care, though. He’d been snacking on his chips and sipping the soda Theo had gotten him too. The Cardigans had gotten melancholy fast, especially when Please Sister seemed to play more often than everything else, so Liam changed it to U2.
It was a good distraction for a while, but Liam’s mind kept going back to Please Sister. Something about the song set Theo on edge. No one in the pack ever really broached the topic of Tara, or what happened to her. What Theo did to her.
Sitting with Theo, Liam couldn’t help but think of it sometimes. It was so cruel, but can children really be cruel? It was horrible, and unforgivable, but how much of that should weigh on Theo’s shoulders? What would Liam have done? Or Scott for that matter. How can they sit on their high horses when they’d never been through it? Part of Liam found it easier to say he would never do something like that, but deep down he knew there was a chance. Any other place or any other time that probably would have scared him shitless, but, sitting with Theo and after everything he’d already done, he could face that darkness in himself.
Liam was in a strange state between of not wanting to live his life and craving survival. He knew he’d do anything to make it to the next day, even if he didn’t want the sun to rise on tomorrow.
A loud car horn brought him out of his thoughts and he focused back on the moment. They were nearing the crash now, and things seemed to be finally moving along. He glanced at Theo and saw that the other man was already looking at him.
npt: literally anyone who sees this.
Katara is to Stiles Stilinski
as Aang is to Scott McCall
Dennis Whitaker is not only a whiny sub, he is ALSO a buff as fuck farm boy. these two things are equally important to Robby
I write teen wolf fanfic. this is a known. what is not known is the amount of times I have to go back and edit "Scoot" to "Scott"
Apocalypse au Thiam
alright I gotta write something about this
Liam held his lacrosse stick tightly in his dirty hands. Death was all around, even in these empty spaces. Moving cautiously through the isles of the store, he salvaged what he could and placed it in his back pack.
He didn't like supply runs, but he'd recently resorted to chewing on sticks because of how hungry he was, and knew it was time. When he'd gotten separated from Mason and Corey, he'd had the misfortune of not carrying much food, just water.
His body reacted to the sound before his mind did. Liam turned towards the growl and a weight pushed him down to the ground. It was so jarring and rough, that it knocked his lacrosse stick from his grip.
Fear flooded through Liam. That was, until he realized the weight on top of him was in fact not a flesh seeking zombie, but a snarling dog.
"Tara. Off." A voice command, and the dog relaxed, taking its body off of Liam's.
Liam looked up and saw a gun pointed right at him. Then, he saw the man that held it. Theo, Liam thought his name was. Distant memories from classes and passing each other in the hallway flooded his mind.
"You're not really going to shoot me, are you?" Liam asked, trying to sound assertive and tough, but failing.
"Are you bit?" Theo asked, firmly.
"No, no. Definitely not." Liam said quickly
"Then I guess not." Theo said, holstering the gun.
You've heard of multi-shipper now get ready for multi-headcanoner: where multiple interpretations of the same character coexist in your head and they are all great.
