“I’m not the best cook out there, so please don’t expect much from me.” Danielle cracked her knuckles, looking at the cook book laid out on the counter in front of her. “Are you sure you got everything that it says we need?”

 🍒 “Of course it’s the ice—” Was it though? Was it really? Shiah could feel a cold sweat starting to build across her forehead, suddenly overly aware that she really didn’t know much more than the other did when it came to making a smoothie. When had she even made a smoothie? Shiah’d usually just buy one from a cafe. “I… think maybe we should google this….. Just to be safe!”

     “No! We’re adults. I’m almost thirty years old for Christ sake. Okay..” She pursed her lips, staring intently at the blender. “Ice first. It’s harder, so it needs to be crushed. It has to be close to the blades. Yes, that sounds right.. Right?” She looked at the other, hoping for reassurance towards her statement.

“You are like a member, the female member. You must keep them on their toes a lot.” She nodded with a small laugh leaving her,”I think we kinda just get use to having so many people curious to what we are doing at every moment in the day. No matter how crazy that sounds, you are way lucky to be behind the scenes.”

     “The female member with tons more freedom.” She chuckled, nodding. “I guess after a while it would be something that you get used to. I just.. don’t know. I like my privacy. Sometimes I really feel bad for my boys, especially Seojun with that crap with the model a few weeks bad. Even I had to tell him to stay away from her, even though I know it’s his best friend. It must really suck sometimes.” She sighed, recalling the fight she had with the member over her having to ban him from seeing Lottie. “But being famous has it’s perk, right? I mean you enjoy it, yeah?”

Light nods with her head as the other talked to her, somehow amused by the thought of having to watch fangirls like zombies trying to reach for their favorites. She understood it and she wouldn’t really judge them, but it was still funny.·“As long as they are strong and not rude too… I’ve seen some really rude securities and they were the worst.” Bohyung shook her head remembering such event.·“Oh, yes, I even put on my running sneakers so I am not left behind!”·

     “Yeah..” She couldn’t help but sigh. Having to work with security she didn’t get to select herself made her very anxious. She had seen too many articles about security being rough withe fans. She knew that sometimes that was needed, but she did not like the negative publicity that would be thrown at the agency because of it. But, she did her best to not think too much about it, smiling as she finished lacing up her own sneakers. “Perfect! So what do you think. Three miles today? Or is that too much?”

     Nagging is a song produced by Seojun of boy group CO:HRT with lyrics written by both him and soon to debut artist, LOTTIE. The song is about a pair of best friends who constantly nit-pick at each other, but at the end of the day care greatly for one another. With a light, fun beat, Nagging is the perfect song to end the summer season.

     Danielle immediately shook her head, laughing. “Oh God. No, no. I absolutely love being a ‘behind the scenes’ member of the group. I mean-- I know I’m not a member but.. Yeah. Anti-fans scare the living hell out of me. I don’t know how the boys do it. Or anyone, really. It’s... insane.”

 🍒 “You have a point though, I don’t really know why all these buttons are necessary.” Now Shiah was scratching her head too, trying to remember a time when she used any of the settings aside from the obvious blend. “I guess people who make fancy things would use all these other buttons… But really, you just need to press the blend button.”

     Sighing softly, Danielle nodded her head, reaching down to hover her finger over the button that read ‘blend’. “So just this one, right?” She nodded again, pointing to the arrangement of fruit sitting on the adjacent counter. “Okay. I think I can do this, then. Do we put the ice or fruits in first?” The older female grabbed a handful of blueberries, popping one into her mouth. “The ice, right?”

“Tonight will end in tragedy.” The sentence came out heavy with the dramatic tone, small and soft pats were left on the woman’s back as a way to relax her somehow but she knew that was useless. “You think the event with the boys will go well tonight? You know… fangirls are really wild…”

     Danielle snorted, nodding her head as she adjusted her hair. “I hope it goes well. I mean, I don’t see why it shouldn’t but, like you said, Fangirls are wild. I just hope the security is up to par. I didn’t get to select them myself this time, so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous about their capabilities.” She shook her head, dismissing the worry. “Anyway, you ready to run?”

He rolls his eyes, he really didn’t want to be doing this right now. Knowing how the rest of the members are busy, luck wasn’t on his way. “I know I look good, Noona.” He musters out a soft sigh, before pursing his lips together. “So I’m the escape goat of hyung? How unfair but I guess this is alright… I’m doing something I’ve done several times anyway.” The cameras and the cordi noona’s weren’t foreign to the younger, he just was thankful his own relationship with a model wasn’t out on the cover yet. Biting his lower lip, he grants her a smile. “Where are they anyway… what’s taking them so long– I have to go somewhere after this." 

     “There’s the attitude I like to see. You’ve done this tons of times, so this should be easy for you.” Danielle flashed the younger boy a smile, adjusting the stray strands of hair that draped over his forehead. “The director should be here any minute now. The shoot should only take a couple of hours after that. Besides, anywhere you have to be is clearly not as important as this, seeing as I don’t know your plans after this. Remember, if it isn’t a scheduled activity, it isn’t a priority.”

I’ve trained man pets in my life, and I feel like I could do that with my eyes closed. Managing those boys, though,” She exhaled, shaking her head. “Sometimes I wanna hug them very, very, very, tightly.”
