Can ao3 writers please stop tagging every damn Superman fandom when publishing their fic. If you’re writing Smallville tag Smallville. MAWS? Tag MAWS. Superman & Lois? Tag Superman & Lois. Lois and Clark? Tag Lois and Clark.

I’m old I need to know what fandom I’m reading, I don’t need the guess work and I want to imagine the characters as they were in the show. If I start a story and I think I’m reading what I assume is Lois & Clark tnaos and Lois starts calling Clark “Smallville” I’m tapping out. Or if I’m starting what is tagged as a Superman 2025 fic and it’s clearly a Smallville fic I’m irate.

I don’t know wtf people use multiple tags like this. Are you trying to gain readership? Each piece of Superman media is very different from each other. Yeah, it’s still under the Superman fandom, but I don’t want to read about the adventures Smallville’s L&C or the MAWS L&C if I’m on the Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman page.

Also stop tagging every bloody DC fandom while you’re at it.

If it’s a crossover, fine. Otherwise I don’t understand why people do this (other than personally irritating me haha)

Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why you do this. I’m open to hearing the reasoning.

I know it's supposed to be a horror story, but that one Dark Multiverse book where Lois becomes evil and just kills everyone after Clark dies is the most romantic thing DC has ever published. Like, LOOK AT HER!
