It comes to Eddie as a fact of life, so natural and all-encompassing that hiding it would be something close to a sin. But. Buck is looking at him and Eddie— Eddie can't lose him. But then a decade passed and eventually Gojo was forced to kill Geto, and he had to say Suguru's name after not saying it for so many years, (partly out of self-preservation), just so it wouldn't become a curse -- because that was the only form of love Gojo had left to give to Geto, which was to finally let him go, to release him from their shared past, from their lost dreams, from Geto's own madness, just the way Yuuta did for Rika, and y'all I am SCREAMING
