Will you marry me?

You mean, ‘I love you, let’s get the law involved so you can’t leave’.

Ermm, no… i won’t marry you…sorry.

Let’s get something straight first, I’m all for the celebration of love, i think it’s great. There’s no other feeling that comes close to it. Love is the most powerful emotion, bringing happiness and freedom along with it.

So when did love come with a contract?

Doesn’t it feel completely wrong to you? And doesn’t it sound so stupid? I mean, marriage is just something that humans created anyway. A piece of paper - or as they would put it, ‘a legally binding contract’ - means nothing really. It’s completely made up. I feel that we place so much value on things that have no true importance. Marriage is a tradition that is dependent on the religious, cultural and political circumstances of a particular society. Once upon a time, maybe it was a celebration of the unity and love between two people, but now it’s just a legal arrangement.

The only reason for it’s significance, is due to the value and importance that society places on it. The same is true for a birth certificate, social security and drivers license. They have value because everyone agrees to it. I understand that in order for certain things work smoothly, there need to be ‘rules and regulations’, but at the same time, it’s taken to an extreme. It’s kind of like getting so focused in a game that you forget to take a step back and realise that it’s only a game. The true value is in love itself. Not a man made contract.

If two people really love each other, they feel no desire to leave each other or hurt each other. So why sign a contract? Why get the law involved? Is it something you feel the need to do in order to prove your love? Because let’s get real, if you need a piece of paper in order to commit to another person, there’s something very wrong. Love is a free energy that has no limits, no boundaries and restrictions. There are no legally binding contracts in nature. Why try to own and control emotion? Why can’t people just love each other without feeling the need and pressure to sign a contract? Why make love so complicated?

I’m not in love, but when i am, i definitely do not need a piece of paper to confirm it.

Why do people get so mad at vegans?

If you’ve gone through your whole life believing in something and then one day, someone comes along and challenges that belief – you can understand why people get angry and defensive. Veganism makes people question their lifestyle, which makes them feel uncomfortable. People feel guilty because deep down they know murdering an innocent being is wrong. But instead of reflecting within themselves and understanding this feeling, they choose to react. Ultimately, people generally think they are good people. But when they suddenly realise that their actions prove otherwise, it’s a slap in the face. Their ego doesn’t want them to believe they are a bad person participating in terrible things. When people know what they’re doing is wrong, they try to justify their own selfish acts with ignorance and excuses.

If veganism makes you feel uncomfortable then know that there is a conflict within yourself.

People often perceive vegans as being ‘perfect’ or living a ‘superior lifestyle’. This is honestly total bullshit. Perfect does not exist. Vegans just want to live a life of compassion and kindness. It has nothing to do with being superior. If vegans believed they were superior, they wouldn’t give a shit about animals and the environment. If anything, people want to put vegans on the ‘perfect pedestal’ and then immediately rip them down when it comes to not living 100% eco-friendly. I mean god forbid using a plastic bag. Sometimes certain things are unavoidable and that’s unfortunate; but the most important thing is the effort that goes into minimising as many negative side effects from our own behaviour in any way we can. 

Vegans challenge the norm. The problem is that people like ‘normal’ because normal means ‘safe’. People just don’t understand that ‘normal’ is making them sick and destroying the only place we have to call home. 

I believe the majority of people who aren’t vegan aren’t bad people at all. They’re good people doing bad things. They’re just still unconscious and haven’t made the connection yet. Everyday people are bombarded with information like ‘meat for protein!’ and ‘milk for strong bones!’ not to mention the hundreds of fast food ads. It’s in your face all the time and this is what has been accepted as ‘normal’. So when people are presented with an alternative view of the world, they get upset and angry because it challenges their idea of ‘normal’. 

What is a little bit hard to understand is is why, once people are presented with the truth, they choose to defend the corrupt organisations who have lied and deceived them with false information, whilst profiting from their ill health. I suppose it’s easier to fool people than to convince them they’ve been fooled. 

You need to understand that you’ve been lied to all of your life. Billions of animals are killed to make you sick and dependant on the pharmaceutical industry. And this is just one part of the bigger picture. The reality you experience isn’t ‘normal’. Normal is an illusion. There’s no such thing. You’re sold the idea of normal. ‘Normal’ is based on a reality of lies. 

‘We accept the reality of the world we are presented with’. 

People don’t like it when their lifestyle is questioned. People don’t like to feel they are doing wrong. People also don’t like change. And this is why veganism faces such opposition.

Veganism Extreme?

Being Vegan means to be a conscious and compassionate human being; making a conscious choice not to cause any harm, suffering and cruelty to any living being. Vegans care about their actions and the consequences it has on others and the world. What part of this is extreme?

Animals are enslaved, raped, tortured and murdered just so that you can have a ‘snack’. A ‘snack’ that is actually killing you! And vegans are called extreme? Give me a break. Being vegan is the polar opposite of extreme. How is being kind and compassionate extreme? How is opposing the act of torturing, raping and killing a terrified and defenceless animal extreme? I can’t believe I actually have to explain that torture, rape and murder is wrong. I feel like I’m living in a head fuck.

I’ll tell you what’s extreme: * Killing billions of animals for our own pleasure. * Destroying our land and oceans to farm and slaughter animals. * Teaching kids to love cats and dogs yet eat pigs, cows and chickens. * Sacrificing our health for a diet of death. * Hiding the truth with happy images and conveniently packaged body parts.

It’s extreme to take an innocent beings life and in doing so is destroying the planet and also your health. Isn’t that enough? What more do you need to hear? That animal is a someone. They have a life and they value it just as much as you value yours. We have no right in deciding who lives and who dies.

The real question I should be asking is ‘why do you support the torture and murder of innocent creatures?’

Every time you buy meat, milk, cheese and eggs you are supporting this. You are paying for this to continue.

If you felt uncomfortable in trying to answer that question, it means deep down you know it’s wrong. It’s not a nice feeling is it? People don’t like feeling like they’re doing something wrong. But what they do next is one of two things. They either stick their heads in the sand, ignore their learnings and make up excuses to help themselves feel better or they trust their intuition and change their ways for the better. Unfortunately, most people take the first route. They find it easy to ignore and distract themselves from the truth; maybe by watching some reality tv with a bucket of fried chicken.

Veganism is the furthest thing from extreme. The only reason it seems extreme to the majority is because it’s not socially accepted. It’s not considered ‘normal’. 

Do you know what is truly extreme? Society’s idea of ‘normal’. Now that’s extreme.

True Value

Can you imagine what would happen if one day everyone woke up and loved themselves? How many corrupt organisations would go out of business? Many companies are primarily in business because they make you feel like you’re not good enough. Don’t you think that’s pretty disturbing? Your feelings of inner turmoil and unworthiness = their profit. The only reason they profit is because you let them. You believe that you’re not good enough. 

Do you really need make-up? Do you really need jewellery? Do you need a flash car? The answer is no. But society makes us feel like we do in order to achieve a certain status and to make us feel accepted. Some people even enjoy feeling of more importance than someone else, like it’s some sort of twisted competition. Every single being is a life and every life shares the same value. 

We place so much value on such empty things that have no true meaning or importance. That’s why we’re always chasing something that doesn’t necessarily exist. We chase these things in order to attain happiness, when in reality happiness isn’t dependent on external and materialistic things. Happiness is a choice in the moment.

If we realised just how great we truly are and developed a deep appreciation for ourselves, can you imagine the impact? It would be the catalyst for such massive change. There would be no value placed on the opinions and judgements of others. There would be no importance placed on comparing ourselves with everybody else and we wouldn’t insist on giving our money to corrupt organisations who profit from our low self-esteem. 

We could actually shift our focus to real world problems and work with each other to make great things happen.

We all need a wakeup call to realise what truly matters.

Education

Learning doesn’t just happen during 8 hours at school. It’s happening constantly throughout life and you learn most from exploring, having different experiences and asking questions. Not by sitting in a room regurgitating information from a text book. I’m devastated that my life and the majority of peoples lives is spent imprisoned in a system designed to create slave labourers. Talk about mind control and propaganda… ‘This is the way we want you to think the world is’. 

The problem isn’t the teachers, it’s the system. Many (but not all) teachers are so passionate and really care about their students. Maybe they aren’t aware because they’re under so much pressure to make sure all of the students are progressing at the standard level. School is a ‘one size fits all’ system, which is complete stupidity. Nobody learns in the same way and at the same rate as somebody else. Students aren’t treated as individuals, but as a collective that must progress at the same level; and if they aren’t, there’s ‘something wrong with them’.

Why am I learning this?

Don’t you think it’s extremely odd and makes absolutely no sense that we’re taught subjects that do not correlate with actually living? We’re taught to regurgitate facts questionable information on history, yet we aren’t taught about health, travel, food and life itself. You’re forced to take a set number of subjects, without finding your true passion and exploring what you truly enjoy. What about managing money, or understanding insurance or mortgages? - Not exciting but still necessary. There’s no importance placed on first aid, survival, mindfulness and meditation. We’re forced to learn about things that have no relevance or importance whatsoever, but we’re not even taught life skills. What’s that all about? Who makes this shit up?  

Exams

The fact that the level of your intelligence in one subject is based on one exam is absolutely pathetic. All the exam tests you on is how good you are at regurgitating propaganda. So it’s basically a memory test. The people who adhere to societies twisted idea of reality are rewarded with the good grades and the job opportunities. It’s only fair that the good slaves get first dibs on uni courses for a lifetime of debt right? It’s really upsetting to see people completely devastated when they don’t get the grades they’re after. Having poor grades really doesn’t prevent you from having the life you want. I think it becomes a bigger problem when the grades become more important than what you are studying. It’s a good thing that you don’t need good grades to live a life of happiness.

A lifetime of debt

Education seems to set you up with paying back uni fees for the rest of your working life; and there’s no certain guarantee that you will actually get the job you want. It’s ridiculous that a few years of learning turns into a lifetime of debt. It’s one sure way of keeping hardworking people trapped within the system for the rest of their lives.

Education and knowledge are so important and I believe that the system takes advantage on only making the information (or the misinformation) accessible to those with money.

Education should be free. Everyone deserves to have access to knowledge.

If you’ve recently finished school and your grades aren’t what you were expecting or maybe you’ve left without many grades at all, do not worry. Don’t feel defeated or lost. They don’t justify your level of intelligence and you aren’t worth any less. They also don’t guarantee a life of happiness. They’re just letters on a piece of paper. Whatever you want you can still have. You just have to go after it.

P.S. As I was writing this post, i received a letter from the student loans stating the £££ i owe them for a course i didn’t even finish. Funny how the universe works…

The answer to calorie restriction

If you look to nature, all animals eat an abundance of their own species specific food and they eat as much as they care for. You never see any animal ‘restrict their calories’ nor do you see obese deer, zebra or gazelle. They eat as much as their hearts content and this can usually last all day for many grazing animals. Even when they consume much more than usual, their bodies maintain a balance. Grazing animals need to be constantly eating to have the energy to outrun predators. If their food made them sluggish, there’s no way they would be able to survive.

There are no obese, fatigued and depressed animals in nature. You also rarely find weak and sick animals in nature. This is because they are eating their correct diet.

Humans are the only species that restrict their food intake for fear of putting on weight. However, if we were all eating our species specific diet, we would have absolutely no need to restrict our calories to maintain a certain weight.

The truth is that foods we are consuming on a daily basis shouldn’t even be considered ‘food’. The standard diet consists of fast foods and processed foods full of artificial flavours and colours, detrimental to your health. We now eat a chemical concoction of toxic waste with no nutritional value. These foods lack vital minerals and vitamins, as well as digestive enzymes, essential for our health. What we’re eating is no longer classified as food… just some science experiment promoted as food by the brainwashing industries.

A human species specific diet is a plant based, whole foods vegan diet. Humans are completely herbivorous and we obtain all of our essential nutrients from plant foods. That means we thrive on fruit and veg, as well as some seeds and nuts. A high carb low fat vegan diet is what fuels your body to thrive at it’s optimum. When you feed your body what it is designed to consume, you can eat an unlimited abundance of foods without ever needing to restrict. With time, your body will learn to adjust to the new volume of foods and will lean out, finding its balance.

The gut is where our immune system lives and without the right nutrition, it becomes weakened, making way for disease. When we eat the right foods, we rarely get sick. There are no need for pills, vaccinations or medication - which only disrupts the bodies natural abilities to heal itself anyway.

Food is medicine. All health begins in the gut. When we consume our species specific diet, our bodies thrive. We can be happy, healthy and free. We are able to live life to the fullest with our bodies working in complete balance.

You’re not a carnivore - you’re an arsehole.

“Humans are carnivores, we have canines DUH!”

ok so this argument gets a lot of attention, so i’m going to break it down in stages, starting with what i think is the most obvious.

1. When you see a cow grazing in a field, do you suddenly start salivating? Do you feel the intense urge to break into chase, ripping at it’s flesh with your *ahem* claws and teeth? Not into cow flesh? How about rabbit or cat? Maybe guinea pig or badger? Didn’t think so. 

2. Do you enjoy eating raw flesh? Including the eyes, fur, tail, organs and anus of the animal? Only true carnivores do this. The next time you see roadkill, feel free to tune into your predatory instincts and eat the whole carcass. 

3. Humans must cook the flesh of an animal before eating, otherwise it would makes us extremely sick. Carnivores do not cook their food. 

4. To make the flesh of an animal taste good, humans have to dress it in plant foods like herbs, dressings and sauces. True carnivores don’t tend to seek out basil and rosemary once they’ve made a kill. 

5. Carnivores are designed by nature with their own set of weapons, such as sharp teeth, claws and speed. Humans are pretty useless when it comes to hunting and killing an animal without a manmade weapon. We are not designed with the tools needed to kill an animal… But we do have fingers to peel fruits!

6. Yes, humans have canines and so do many other herbivores. In fact the animal with the largest canines belongs to the hippo, a herbivore. Our canines help us bite into hard foods. The rest of our teeth are flat in order to grind our food. Herbivorous animals move their jaws side to side to grind their food, like us. Carnivores have jaws that move up and down to rip and swallow their food without chewing. 

7. Humans and herbivores sweat through their pores, whilst carnivores sweat through their tongue. 

8. Humans and herbivorous animals have an intestinal tract 10-12x their body length. Carnivores have an intestinal tract that is only 3x their body length, so that decaying flesh can pass through quickly. You can imagine just how bad it is for us to have decaying flesh sitting in our incredibly long intestines for so many hours. 

9. Human and herbivore stomach acid is 20x weaker than that of a carnivores. 

10. Humans and herbivores have alkaline saliva, carnivores have acid saliva.

So what’s the argument now? Humans are herbivorous. We have no instinct whatsoever to attack and kill an animal, because we are not carnivores. Our hunger is not triggered by any animal.

That’s probably why you don’t hear about people eating their pets when they’ve missed a meal.

Who are you eating?

If you believe that eating meat is a personal choice, you’re forgetting someone.

That’s right, you are eating a someone.

Do you understand that?

That someone lived a very short life of extreme suffering. They were born to die. Never were they able to feel kindness, compassion or love.

That steak, beef or pork used to be a living breathing being that valued its life just as much as you value yours. And by the way, those names given to cow and pig flesh are merely a form of detachment from the true reality of what is really happening.

You contributed to that beings death. You paid for that being to be murdered.

If for a second you realised that the flesh on your plate was an innocent being enslaved, raped, tortured and murdered for your pleasure, you would never encourage this to continue...right?

But we dehumanise their very existence. We falsely believe that we have dominion over animals who have no true importance and who’s lives do not matter. That’s exactly how much of a joke we humans really are.

Here’s the truth: You are eating the rotting carcass of a murder victim.

And the funny thing is that animal died so that it could eventually end up killing you. Animal flesh contains antibiotics, hormones, faces, blood, pus and a whole lot more. Humans are not designed to eat meat. We are completely herbivorous. Once consumed, the dead carcass of the animal rots inside our incredibly long herbivorous intestines, causing illness and disease. And it gets even funnier… The organisations who sell and promote meat have strong connections with the pharmaceutical industry, their basically identical twins separated at birth. These are the people who fund the ‘studies’ to inform the public on how essential meat is to our health. They have convinced you that your are a ‘protein eating carnivore’. You aren’t. But they’ve done a good job though haven’t they? It’s important for their own self interests that you consume the dead rotting flesh of an animal, otherwise you wouldn’t get sick and if you don’t get sick, they can’t make a profit.

So the joke really is on you. Society does not have your best interests at heart. You only exist as their profit making machine.

So spare the animals their lives. When you walk into a supermarket and you see the morgue section, see it for what it truly is. Make the conscious choice to educate yourself. Realise that you’ve been conditioned by a corrupt society who profits from your ignorance and ill health.

Make the connection and go vegan.

It’s tradition

Tradition: The handing down of statements, beliefs and information from generation to generation.

I have mixed feelings about ‘tradition’. In one sense, it carries the teachings, learnings and stories from one generation to the next. And for that, i think it’s a great thing. It’s really interesting to understand the way of our ancestors and how they lived. However, tradition also means ‘it’s always been this way’ and therefore it must continue. This is what i completely disagree with. Tradition isn’t always a good thing. The teachings may be morally wrong and based on misinformed knowledge. It’s so important to question tradition and to form you own opinion on whether you feel like it’s right or wrong. Just because it’s been happening generation after generation, does not justify it as something that shouldn’t be challenged.

‘It’s always been this way because it’s tradition…’.

It seems like a lot of people rely on their culture and traditions to excuse them from important issues that could create positive change.

Like a security blanket; tradition is used as something to hide behind when justifying unjust actions.

It’s a tradition to murder billions of turkeys every year to celebrate Thanksgiving. Don’t you think that’s completely hypocritical? Honouring your freedom by enslaving, torturing and murdering the life of another. And just to add insult to injury, why don’t you stick your hand up their dead empty arse and stuff the shit out of them too. It sounds like a pretty sick joke, but don’t worry, it’s ok because it’s ‘tradition’.

If our traditions come from years and years of history that has been recorded over time, i think it’s right to assume that there’s a large possibility it is re-written, edited and twisted to suit the ideals of that culture. So many traditions may well be built upon lies.

Sometimes tradition makes no sense and there is absolutely no reason for it to continue. If it causes harm and suffering to others, there is absolutely no need for it whatsoever. Who wants a tradition based on the suffering and death of another being? 

If however, the tradition creates peace, love, kindness, compassion, positivity, truth, knowledge and joy, without causing suffering towards others, then it’s a great thing.

Unfortunately, the true meaning of the tradition becomes lost over time and is twisted into something completely different.The real message is forgotten in a greedy, profit driven society.

Civilised?

As a species, we like to consider ourselves civilised. We’ve created systems, social structures, laws and whatever else gives us the arrogance of putting our species on top of a pedestal.

However.

The word civilised is defined as a person or a collective group of people with a high standard of behaviour, considered to be more advanced than another society.

It seems to me that the word civilised means superior, which is a contradiction. How can a society be civilised if the very word means that your way of life is more superior and advanced than anothers? Believing that your way of life is superior, without being open to other ways of living, tells you exactly how ‘civilised’ we really are.

World focus is centred on war and ownership instead of peace and love. Governments spend billions on warfare to murder innocent people. The grains grown are used to fuel the animal holocaust whilst people are dying from lack of food. We pollute the earth, destroy the environment and are the cause of animal extinction. We enslave, rape, torture and murder billions of innocent beings every single year… for pleasure. There are more empty homes than there are homeless people. A piece of paper with false value is worth more than a life. And we call ourselves civilised?

We live in a world where people lack compassion for each other and all of the other beings we share this world with.

We don’t live in a civilised world. We live in one full of greed and unjust laws to keep us imprisoned within the walls of society.

The truth is that as a species we’re probably more uncivilised than any other being on this planet.
