Unreal Nightmares
The Lake of Gravity Falls is somewhat normal. However, there are rare times when this is not true. On occasion, if you fall into the lake, you will begin to dream. You will not drown, as you are kept safe through unknown means. However, the dream is the interesting part.
When dreaming, you will live out a perfect life, free from worry. However, if you are ever to discover that it is a dream, you will have 30 minutes to find a way to escape, or your worst nightmare will somehow find a way to kill you. There is, however, a condition for these nightmares: rather than being something you know is real, such as heights, the fear will always be something fictional. Whatever has scared you most, but you know is in fact not real, will become real. Stone angels, for example, have appeared for me.
If somehow you have entered with other people, the countdown will be lowered for every additional person, with the lowest time being 5 minutes, and the order of activation will be from the least harmful to the most. One of the appearances has been shown to be a hole in the wall, which the fearful person is inexplicably drawn to, claiming that it is "meant for me", while another person has claimed of a time travelling demon with billiard balls for eyes.
It is unknown what causes the event to occur. However, upon escaping, it is noted that the fear is no longer present. It is thus unknown if this force is benevolent or malevolent, however, it is confirmed that any wounds inflicted within the dream will appear once the subject is awake. Lastly, the method of leaving is always a form suicide, however, you will not be harmed if you have not found the correct method. It is possible, then, that the event is indeed benevolent, and exists to be a method of helping to overcome an unhealthy fear.
Addendum 1: It is noted that anyone who has previously dreamed in this manner will always activate the event, even when the event failed to occur moments before.
The Experiments
The Experiments were a series of scientific creations in the supernatural world. Currently I have no knowledge of the creator of these experiments, and I am unsure how far they reached or how many they created. However, I am sure that they created at least seventy-eight, due to the one experiment I currently have knowledge about, Experiment 78, or the Electron Carpet.
Experiment 78 is a carpet that has a supernatural property the allows two or more people to allow their entire self to enter each others bodies. The process is supposedly through switching of electrons, however the people who created the Experiments must not have had knowledge of how actual science works, because electrons are only one part of the atomic structure of the human body. It is more likely to be through a transfer of the soul, in order to make it so the change is whole.
Experiment 78 works using static discharge from friction created by moving around on the carpet. Upon "shocking" someone by coming in contact with them, they switch bodies. The carpet itself bears a design relating to this - there is a circular symbol in the center which features two arrows moving in the same direction, representing the switch.
Experiments 1-77 are yet to be found, but I have hidden Experiment 78 in Stanford Pines' home. It seems as if the Experiments may be limited to objects, but if there were experiments to due with living creatures, then who knows what kinds of chimeras or monstrosities they may have created by tampering with the forces of Gravity Falls.

Spells of Space and Time - Second Entry
This second set of spells is mostly comprised of chronomancy, or time magic. These four spells are best used with each other, and one of these spells is the basis of time magic, as well as being vital for more advanced forms of magic such as lunamancy and solamancy.
This first spell, the aforementioned basis of time magic, leaves a beacon in time. You can refer back to this point in time whenever you wish, and in addition, you can have as many as you desire. However, the more beacons you have created, the less powerful their "signal" will be. To create a beacon, you must have a design in mind for what it will look like. This is a rare spell in which you must not imagine anything. Instead, you focus your attention on that moment, and clap. It is a rather simple spell, but an important one. The following three spells depend on having a beacon. A symbol of the beacon will appear on your arm, and be labelled with a symbol. A beacon may be destroyed by use of the third spell.
The second spell allows you to view a moment you have left a beacon at. This is a rather interesting spell, as it can be used creatively. This spell will, for instance, allow forces from that moment, such as sunlight, to go through into the present, but you cannot affect the moment. It is the basis of all magic which involves forces that are only available at certain points in time. To perform this spell, put your hand to one of the beacon symbols on your arm, and imagine something similar to a window in space, with something coming through.
The third spell allows you to reach into a moment in time set by a beacon. It is, in a way, time travel. You can also use it to eliminate a beacon by leaving it open for 5 minutes without reaching into it. It is especially useful for combat purposes - leaving a beacon in the middle of combat with the sole purpose of using this spell does not create paradoxes, and allows you to hide while your foe wonders where you have disappeared to. From there, you can flee, or surprise them. It is also useful for attempting something again if you fail, having the prior knowledge of what caused you to fail. Keep in mind that it is your personal choice whether or not you want to merge with your past self in order to retain future knowledge, or become a separate entity. To use this spell, place your hand on one of the beacon symbols on your arm, and imagine being in another time.
The fourth spell is considered the most advanced spell of the aether. This spell is said to create a device, which appears how the caster wants it to, is controlled how the caster wants it to, and works how the caster wants it to. This spell is another rare spell which does not use a mental image - you must design your device in reality. Once you have the design, you must decide how the device operates. This spell is advanced because it requires the caster to account for all possible forms of time travel, along with theories, paradoxes, temporal anomalies, and more. Once this is all completed, you imagine the device and it will simply appear in front of you for your use. This spell is guarded and those who use it are often hunted for their knowledge or to prevent paradoxes.

Torture. Murder. Cause insanity. These are the things the malefic fox they call Da Ji can do. It's a sad world, but I have seen few who have lost their way as much as her.
8 is a number, and as the rain god would say, it represents many things. Infinity, self-destruction, totality, cosmic order, multiplicity, even the earth itself. Specifically, it represents several things relevant to our tale. In Egypt, 8 was the number of arms on a solar disc. The sun. In Japan, multiplicity, or many. It also means, in Japan, the heads of the serpent Yamata no Orochi, a devil-like being.
To put my vision into words, the sun will be of many selves and one will serve the eight. The way will be found and the stories of seventeen will begin. Stories which have until now only just begun to unfold, the stories of the return of heroes. A prophet and a ghost, a devil and an angel, wolves and birds, gods and mortals, musicians and reapers, redemption and moonlight.
And of course, a writer and his three books. The eye of providence, they say, is reserved for the special ones. They said, a new world order, or that's what people thought they said. They were wrong. For so very long, the Eye has been seen in society, waiting. Waiting for the one world that could create the right kind of person at the right time in the right place. And it's finally happening. The last true hero was King Arthur, and before him, it was a steady decline since heroes of myth. Their names were known - Beowulf, Mulan, even Sun Tzu was a hero in a way. But they were but legends in the eyes of the masses far too quickly.
Funny, then, that the heroes which will begin their battle in Gravity Falls, Oregon, are to never be known.

The Adventure #173
Great. Jack is dead. Lyl and Sue are getting married. I don't know what's going on with everyone else, I'm too tired. Although, I've still got something to do for Ammy. Apparently we need to bury Tsu's old body, back in that suicide forest.
I can't think of many other sentences that seem so strange out of context.
Regardless I assume that when that's done I'll be heading back home and getting some sleep.
I haven't heard back from the Werecat, I don't really know what's happening with him right now. And the ghost. The ghost has just gone completely silent. May need to establish contact with some other reality, possibly even with that realities' version of Bill. I'll take anyone, contacting another world that was completely separate from our own was so...exciting.
Spells of Water - First Entry
Aquamancy! A weak magic on its own, Aquamancy is all about realizing that you can't get everything to go where you want it to. In essence, it's a magic of flow - you can't focus on anything but the water. This makes Aquamancy a dangerous magic with little use in combat. However, Aquamancy is a useful magic in many other ways! Magic isn't all about use in battle. However, if mastered, using different Aquamancy spells in conjunction can turn these seemingly useless spells into weapons.
The first spell is a simple rain spell. It's fairly easy to perform from a glance, as the only thing you need to do is imagine it raining. The problem is that you need to know the exact area that you want it to rain on, but for smaller areas it should be fine. This spell can also be used indoors with the next spell.
The second spell is a mist spell. This spell, for reasons I do not know, invokes fear in some creatures, and bravery in others. Regardless, you can use it to create rain indoors by releasing the water. The mist will be dark if it can be used for this purpose. The spell can be used by imagining a cloud forming - a difficult feat, but as with most Aquamancy spells, your imagination is king and it can form in many ways.
The third spell can cause water to become denser, allowing you to walk on water, in a sense. This is useful in combination with other water spells as well, allowing one to use Aquamancy as an offensive power as well as a defense. A shield which can instantly become a sword - a difficult skill, yet a powerful one. To use this spell, imagine a body of water being struck as if wall, or a floor.
The fourth spell allows you to create shapes from water, which is a basic for all forms of Aquamancy. This spell can be used in conjunction with many other Aquamancy spells and often is, becoming second nature for someone focusing on Aquamancy. To perform this spell you must imagine a shape in a liquid form, which is no small task - details are important. If done well, you can turn a lake into an army.
