I did the math on X's age by the time X1 happens!!

This is entirely out of my usual blogging but I couldn't stop thinking about this, however this isn't a drawing so it's not going on my main either.

Anyways, I kept wondering how old X would be by the time x8 rolled around so I tried doing the math and that didn't really go anywhere due to some games not having proper time frames (including X8) HOWEVER, when I checked the wiki for X's age during X1 I only found stuff about his activation age which means he had to have been an entirely different age by the time X1 rolls around other than what I originally had assumed at least. So I ended up digging out the Cane journals from when he discovered X.

To begin we have to assume X was around 14-15 mentally when he was first activated, in Cane's journal it says that he opened the capsule on April 14th which means I'm gonna use that as a rough "birthday" standpoint for X,

during the journal it says that he started building reploids in November and then we jump from that to May where production on reploids began, which means it's a new year already

then july happens and we get our first 3 mavericks which is past April meaning X is now 15-16.

We get another jump to November where through a conference decision they finally decided to create the maverick hunters and a huge jump where it's December and cane says that it's been 2 years (I'm aware the official English one says 2 months but that's dumb like genuinely dumb in every way to me so I'm willfully pushing that under the "The localization is at it again!" rug) if we add the 2 years he's 17-18

The very last entry happened in July where sigma goes maverick which means it's another birthday passing which would mean X is roughly 18-19 by the time X1 happens!

What does this mean? Nothing really I just thought it was neat to learn how long it took between X's Discovery, the actual creation of reploids and to the events of the first game.

Take everything I have shared here with grain of salt tho, especially since the games can be incredibly unclear on these things we really can't be 100% certain and also don't trust the English localization of these games!

oh yeahhh it's still pride so let me give a snipet of a funny story,

a few years back my homeroom teacher (also math teacher) clocked me as aromantic before I did. My class went on a week long school trip and on our way there my teacher was talking to another girl about romance because she was complaining about this guy she broke up with. I chimed in saying that I never understood the appeal of a relationship, it's just gonna end like this. then my teacher responded with "Oh so you're aromantic then?". I need you to know that not only was I in DEEPPPP denial about it but also I genuienly didn't think i was so hearing it from him felt like getting hit by a truck.

The funniest part was that he was like "If you wanna know more there's this really cool video by a youtuber called jaiden animations" which felt like an even bigger truck hit because half of my friends send me the video and were like "this is literally you" TTTTTT

Needless to say he was correct, I am aromantic, it just took me a little longer than everyone and him to realize....
