Greetings! Χαίρε! This is Enceladus a.k.a. Giant.

This blog is dedicated to me rambling about my thoughts and theories about film, TV and web content.

I occasionally add in Ancient Greek words in my posts (usually the start or end). I am not fluent in it, and I do not know Modern Greek, but I am learning it and really enjoy using it. I will always include English translations.

I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts. My asks are always open and I appreciate any feedback on my ideas or conversation about the topics I discuss. If you're weird though, I will block you so please keep that in mind.

Creepy still from a static segment in episode 1 of The Walten Files + theories.

Warning for spooky animatronic shenanigans (all TWs are tagged in the tags)

Spoilers for all episodes up to and including Episode 3 BunnyFarm under the cut.

At 6:45 in Episode 1 - Company Introductory Tape. Immediately before Brian reaches the Archive area, and he says "I made it to the Location, I think," a large patch of static covering the whole screen flashes up.

(See above: a screenshot containing the static, and a screenshot containing the static and the spoken text at the time).

This static looks like 2 faces side by side. It's creepy and distorted and uncanny but it's there. I think these faces are the 2 children who Felix killed in the car crash (revealed in BunnyFarm).

This would make sense because in BunnyFarm it clearly shows that the crash occurs near where the Relocate Archive was, and that must have been where Felix buried them too. So, maybe, because Brian is so close to the place of burial, that is why the static appears just when he approaches the Relocate Archive - the ghostly activity is much stronger there.

They do only communicate 'through analog' so it would make sense if their presence could only be seen in recordings and the like.

Just thought it was an interesting lore Easter egg that not everyone might realise unless they paused exactly on that static.
