happy disability pride month, guys!! let me remind you that this month is for all of us.
for those who need mobility, those who don't, and those who need them but don't use them.
for those who love being disabled, those who loathe being disabled, and all those in between.
for those whose symptoms range from mild hindrances to debilitating pain and struggle.
for those whose disability is invisible, undiagnosed, super rare or super common.
for those who have support and those who don't.
for those who are "out," those who aren't, and those who are out but not accepted.
for the hard of hearing and visually impaired.
for those with sensory disabilities. cognitive disabilities. physical disabilities.
for spoonies (yes, even those who use the phrases all the time) and for those who'd rather... not.
for everyone who is hurting.
for every person who's ever been told "it's not that hard," or "just be happy," or "you don't look disabled."
i see you, and i love you.
happy disability pride month to all <3
