Archival Staff as the Seven Deadly Sins
Jonathan Sims as Pride. his sin is his image of himself, his sin is that he can't drop it when he needs to. he takes himself too seriously, to the point of self sabotage, to the point where no one else can take him seriously at all. he should work twice as hard, that'll show them; maybe then he'll be respected. maybe then he can sit comfortably in the dignity the world has finally granted him.
Martin Blackwood as Sloth. the sin of inaction. the sin of opting out of critical decisions. waiting around all day, not making anything better, not making anything worse. being present isn't worth much when everyone else is being both present and active.
Sasha James as Envy. watching your college get promoted over you. this man-- this boy-- is somehow your superior now. you've been working so much harder, and for so long, and on top of everything you were the choice candidate by the predecessor. you can smile at him all you want, but deep down all you can feel is how you were wronged.
Tim Stoker as Lust. 😏
Daisy Tonner as Gluttony. Feeding is consumption, after all. So what would excessive Feeding be, if not gluttony? For how many years did she take and take and feed to her heart's content? Can a heart ever be content when it's tainted with guilt? Does guilt absolve gluttony? We both know absolution isn't so easily attained.
Basira Hussain as Greed. You can't have your cake and eat it too. You can try to. Of course you can make a valiant effort. Avatars are evil, unless you love them. Feeding is necessary, unless it's unforgivable. The world is full of humans and monsters, but the line is drawn in dry erase marker and it's looking a little different from how it looked yesterday. Is the ink a different color? The line seems more jagged than yesterday. Is the marker running out of ink?
Melanie King as Wrath. She has a right to be angry. Everyone should be angry. They're all trapped in some eldritch horror nightmare, why isn't everyone furious? More importantly, why is it a sin? How dare anyone call her anger a sin. She should fight anyone who does. She should bite or punch or stab-- and somewhere down the line, maybe she regrets it. This isn't who she is. Anger isn't violence. When did all this anger start hurting people?
