I started wondering what prime HSS MC could have done during the Isa situation. Because MC's family technically owns the school if we're still going with the whole "MC is rich and built the school themselves" bit.

The MC would have at least gotten a text or a call from friends to know what's going on. The MC could have done something like looking into Isa's actions. But what if none of their friends wanted to bother the MC, who was in college for this situation? They don't want MC to worry while they're busy in college. They can't rely on MC to fix things. Not this time.

thinking about HSS prime MC again. If you think about it, the only way a student could even manage to build an entire school by themselves is if they're rich af if we're following how the game works. Logically, I don't think the MC could 'own' the school while they're still a minor, so I could see it as their parents owning the school for now until the MC is old enough to claim it.

with that said, I can't help but find it really funny and frustrating when I think about Caroline refusing to ask help from her parents after she gets her ass booted from her own school. It's inconvenient, but she'd rather eat grass and mud than tell her parents she fucked up royally.

idk what to post nowadays since a lot of the new books in Choices don't interest me (plus, AI crap), so I've just been busy with irl stuff and looking for Choices fan projects.

i did manage to find a good few, and I saw a Reddit post about a Hollywood U recreated project made by @universityofhollywoodprogress. You can check their posts for updates

I've also been keeping myself busy by playing other games like Couple Up!, Romance Club, Episodes, and Love Island the Game.

I really wanna post here again, but I've just been feeling burned out or unmotivated. I think I might try to post again from time to time, but no promises.

a little confession from me:

There are certain book series I don't wanna play. More or less because of the bad reviews I've been hearing about. Characters turning really bad in later books or out of character. Plots becoming shit or makes no sense.

which makes me sad bc I really loved some book series, but somehow, this is what stops me from finishing it. I just end up pretending that moment didn't happen, and it ended there. but miss out on certain plot points.

or I have to finish this bad book just to get to the best one right after.

I’m not sure if anyone in the fandom here has mentioned it, but apparently pixelberry released a new game (only in New Zealand for now). It’s called Choices: Stories you play. The photo was posted on the forums by lala, which is where I found out about it. Maybe this is why they’ve been neglectful and money hungry with hwu recently? Because they’re trying to start up another game. Apparently it’s sort of a mix of surviving high school and episode. There’s a bit more info on the hss forum if your interested.

genuinely need a whole collection, a doc, or something to talk about the Choices universe. Like what's real or not. Cuz we know The Flame and Crown is a show, Most Wanted is a game, Filthy Rich and Witness aren't real either, parts of some 17+ books.

Then there are things like America's Most Eligible, It Lives, Nightboound, and Royal Romance that happen in the same universe.

I actually took the time to try Episodes for a change. It was actually fun? At least some stories were enjoyable. Some were predictable and some didn't make much sense but I played with it anyway.

I have a bunch of mcs already.

Not gonna lie, I'm still hung up on High School Story and its ending. And the fact that I can't play that app anymore ._.

I still wonder why the MC from the OG game graduated ahead from the others.

I'd honestly love to play another story of High School Story, but from the pov of the OG MC before they graduated. Seeing how everything used to be before shit got bad. A nicer and younger Brian maybe. A young Michael cameo. Just hanging out with the OG gang.
