Ausevalte Arquebusier

To fight the technologically superior Verlormaend tribe, the Ausevalte has made desperate moves to quickly modernize their warriors - such as training them with the use of captured firearms. These men, accustomed to using bows and slings, now fight with gunpowder. They are young and poorly trained, but they continue to stand bravely at the forefront of the battlefield to defend their homelands with their blood.

Worldbuilding by doing some concept art! Hingterner warriors are some of the Hidden People's of Froband, making their homes in the hills and forests. Once a peaceful people, they were driven to war by the technologically superior Verlormaend. Now, they not only fight for the freedom of their land, but also for their existence.

Just want to rant a tad here. Pope Francis was many things to different people, but to me - and most suprisingly - his passing has made me feel as if I lost a loved one. Funny, considering I never met the man. In person, I've only seen the back of his head for half a second as he drove by. And that was 2015.

But the fact that I still remember that snapshot of a moment says a lot I guess. This man taught me the true meaning of a Catholic. This man - leader, father, and servant - stood up to show the world the power of humility, courage, and love. I barely felt the effects of those acts, sure. But more than that, I saw his passion and love. It motivated and inspired me to love more. And that is something the world needs more today.

And so we lost a legend today. May his life inspire us to take on the virtues of humility, love, and service in following God.

Eternal rest grant unto him, o Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen

The final member of the friend group - Renard, my younger brother. Honestly, this kid is impossible. All he needs to be happy is to see an action movie, watch the "kabooms" and "pew-pews" and he'll be like "YAY HAPPY YAY!!!!".

But sure. Admittedly, he's the greatest bundle of joy in my life.
