I don't even talk about this in person so I feel pretty unusual putting this up on the internet. But I've been thinking about all the time I spent as a kid combing through social media looking for something like this. I really wanted someone to be out there talking about staying alive with PTSD in a way that wasn't some kind of doom foretelling or a way that didn't feel too Hollywood to come true for me. I kept living, so I guess I could be that person now.

If this never reaches anyone that's fine with me, but I also feel like those of us who dealt with these kinds of things and ended up being able to live anyway share our stories it has the possibility of helping kids out there who are in the place where we used to be. I think that's worth it.

The only good PTSD media rep I know is still Frodo Baggins.
