Euphoria

I remember the day my gaze landed upon you

The earth stopped spinning for a moment or two

The winds blew reckless in a motionless queue

And everything made sense in a manner anew

Suddenly the lights were dazzling the core darkness brighter

And the sun rise frozen in the sky all day long

And the stars never looked so perfect in the night sky

A home where I never knew I belonged

You bore a beat inside my heart

And now it beats for you

I was existing off key

Till you bared you invisible tune

Flesh and blood

Now soft gold rushes

The earthly veil

Fabricating my bones

More than a habit

Fling

The summer scent in the air 

Filled the noses of all the natives 

A smell of tourism and crowded streets

New friends and lovers to meet

And here they were 

Walking down the busy sidewalk

Watching children outline each other in chalk

Hand in hand with an ice cream to share

Sunglasses to hide the longing stare

And all throughout June and July 

When the heat bared all

They shared towels, sunscreen, chairs and beds 

A fling that flung them into fall

And to his sweet surprise 

He was not ready for when she sighed

The parting words he could remember 

“I wonder what this place is like in September.”

Zero O'Clock

All your spirit seems to have

Been sucked the black hole in the chest

All the dreams seem so distant

The bones of your frame beg for rest

Uncertainty clouds the mind

"Will I even make it this time?"

The present seems to be dying too

And the future is losing all it's hue

I sit back and catch my breath

Too hard on myself weighed down by a rock

Will all of this ever end?

And then my eyes fall on the clock

The day seems to be ending

But how long will these tears go on?

But at least you made through another day

And soon it turns to Zero o'clock

When will things really change?

No one seems to know

But have a good grip of your dreams

And forget all your sorrows

The day is concluding now

New will arrive

When the minute and second hands come together

The world holds its breath for a little while

At Zero o'clock

And you're gonna be happy

Like that snow falling from the paradise

That just settled down

Let's breathe, like it's the first time

Turn this all around

Body shame

You deny the basic necessity of life

You go to the extent of using scissors and knives

They convince you to use plastic beneath your skin

Your soul loses, and the pageant is at win

The size of your lips matters more than your words

The tone of your skin becomes your basic concern .

Tell them.

My skin is the reflection of the twilight

And my soul is igniting brighter with the coming sunlight

It has gone through havocs and hurricanes, and still at the apex of rise

My body is home to fire and ice

My "heavy" weight will tell you how down to earth I am

My "skinny" body shows how ready to touch the sky I am!

My curves resemble the boundaries of the tributaries

Down which flow my Victorious stories

I'm no less than the voyages you read about in history

I'm an unsolved, untangled mystery

I don't come in fragments, I'm ample

My body isn't just my home, it's my temple

Fake Love

My roses are bleeding

Crimson tears they cry

A masquerade so heavy

Agonizing baggage intensifies

The stars in my sky

Lost all their breathes

As all the warmth in me was drawn into

The black hole in my chest

A shipwreck love galore

In the death struck ocean

Bane taking hold of

It's colourless motion

I was watering a garden

Of dead flowers

Which had already lost their hues

Drowning in a winter shower

Under the frozen moonlight I stood

As every emotion was shoved

Amidst every shade of affection

I'm so sick of this Fake Love

Growth

But I think he should have returned

To tackle with things he's left undone

To flower my daisies with his vibrant sun

To cut off the lazy cycle of the one's gone

But think his departure marked my start

When I let go of venom crippling my heart

And I became the unconfined beauty today

I think he shouldn't return anyway

Love Myself

I woke up with the earth spinning in my favor

Light became a part of my soul rather than making me flinch

The skin fabricating my hopes felt braver

As acceptance took over me inch by inch

Even on the darkest of the nights I looked out for stars

And the beauty in my shadow made me feel whole

The things that scared me the most only healed my scars

I found me being my Platinum while hunting for Gold.

Spring day

I remember the last spring

Doesn't feel that far

When buds were still blooming to flower

Witnessed it's flourishing from my door ajar

When the white snow was shedding it's cover

To be replaced by a yellow smiling Daisy

And the blossoms were brushing my skin

As the days grew lazy

And amidst the glory

Of various tints and hues

Flew a thought into my head

A pang of fear hit my chest "What if this spring never returns?

Every moment took for granted, can it be undone?

What if the roses are so tired of being red

And the leaves just hang in like tassels and threads.

And cherry blossoms in their pink glory

And so done repeating the same story

Watching as each soul that plucks another of it's ornaments

Because it's the shade of pink matching their garment." And somehow these unassertive noises came true

And it's been so long since I've seen you

Or shared a hello or even a goodbye

Ages gone since heard you laugh or cry

I just hope that when we meet again

We'll collapse these times and it's differences

Laugh untill our ribs hit the cold ground

Replace the good memories with something even more profound

So please, wait for a day or two

My bones ache to be around you

And no matter how many flowerbeds come along my way

Our reunion will mark my Spring Day.

Restoration

It took me quite a while

To restore my faith and ignite my pride

To evaporate my truth from the lies

To foment the dead spark inside

Lately I've come to realize

I'm not needed to please every eye

Or blame my words for the bonds untied

I'm relieved by the past I've left behind

I'm breathing the dust of silver and gold

Once again I've reclaimed my soul

Revived from the ashes of stories untold

The moment I've been trying to uphold

And as the lilac, kisses the skies

It paints my skin, Of shadows so bright

The light is compelled to criticize

My glare and dazzle on the rise

Omo, this is my very first post although I've been on Tumblr for quite a while now. I really don't know how to use this thing!!

Anyway. I love writing. So I might just start with that :)
