rohanchopras:
rohan allows himself to get lost in the kiss, he lets it define him and for a shining moment he can pretend aarav roy LOVES him. for a moment he can pretend this is their normal life. maybe aarav has come home from the studio and under the pretense of getting water from the kitchen, rohan now has him cornered as he kisses the life out of his boyfriend. the word sounds nice on his tongue and yet rohan knows he can be a million things but aarav will never agree to being rohan’s boyfriend.
agitated at the lack of action, rohan pulls aarav back to him; this time he cups aarav’s face between his hands so the other man won’t be able to pull away even if he tried. instead he feels aarav’s hands claw at him, and so briefly lets go to guide the other boy’s hands to the button of his cargo shorts. he wants to FORGET. and this is the perfect way of doing it.
“ don’t think you’re hurting my feelings. there’s none left for you to hurt anymore. ”
Aarav wanted to pull away once more, the moment he heard Rohan’s words. He didn’t want to be with this man. He wanted to be with his Rohan. That man was tender, loving and full of feelings. If there were no feelings left--he wasn’t Rohan. Still, the temptation was growing too strong and so he continued hastily unbuttoning Rohan’s shorts before stripping out of his own damp hoodie (actually Rohan’s hoodie).
He kisses him back, this time more rushed than before as he hops off the counter and begins leading Rohan with him, this time only to the couch, aware that if they were in the bedroom--things would become MORE intense and maybe Rohan was becoming feelingless now, but Aarav--Aarav couldn’t pretend about it anymore.
Maybe it wasn’t easy for him to admit to anything, especially to Rohan, but now--he was beginning to think that since the other man had moved on, was now sleeping around with anyone his heart desired--perhaps the novelty Aarav presented--wasn’t good enough.
