All For The (Video) Game
Iâve seen a post about an exy video game with Andrew and Neil as characters But what about a Foxhole Court video game
Imagine:
It starts with Neil in Arizona
Being recruited by Coach Wymack
Your first objective is to accept or run
Which ends with you getting struck by Andrewâs racquet
âIâm not good enough to play on the same court as a champion.â
You have the option to uppercut Kevin for his smug âtrue, but irrelevantâ line
Multiple dialogue choices? Yes
You can choose what color he dyes his hair and what color contacts he uses if you wish (just not his natural colors)
You have a Trust Meter for all of the foxes and Wymack
It increases a tiny bit more when Wymack promises he wonât hurt Neil unless he throws the first punch
By the end, the Trust Meter for Andrew is sky high
A lot of options can end with you being gutted by Andrew, which is the dream
You have the option to ride with the Monsters or the Upperclassmen

Yo, does anyone know if Towns ever ate his hat?
#neil looking towns dead in the eye: start chewing bitch
OH MY GOD
Neil: You said youâd eat your hat if they still wanted me you piece of shit
Towns: Itâs an expres-
Dan: You think weâre gonna let Neil even leave the room with you if we think the FBI arenât men of their word? I donât believe weâll get him back, how about any of you guys
Eight foxes and one coach looking expectant:
Towns: -the FBI did not fucking prepare him for these college kids, heâs getting a vasectomy, so help him God,-
The foxes, chanting: EAT THE HAT, EAT THE HAT, EAT THE HAT
what do u mean this isnât how this scene wentÂ
of all the sacrifices andrew minyard has made for his family,, compromising his Goth Aesthetique by wearing the foxesâ bright orange and white may be the biggest and most tragicÂ
Donât Imagine Aaron Minyard
Donât imagine two year old Aaron Minyard putting himself to bed because Mommy is busy doing shots to reruns on television.
Donât imagine Aaron at three, being left alone because Tilda didnât have time to find a babysitter and went so work anyway.
Donât imagine Aaron trying to climb the shelves in the pantry to get something to eat.
Donât imagine him falling, spilling stale Cheerios across the floor, and not telling Tilda his wrist hurts because heâs afraid he will get in trouble.
Donât imagine Tilda having to take Aaron with her on a vacation with her new boyfriend because the sitter wouldnât watch him until she got paid.
Donât imagine that boyfriend being annoyed that Aaron dares to exist, to intrude.
Donât imagine them putting Aaron in the bathroom of a crappy hotel so they can have sex.
Donât imagine Aaron covering his ears because they donât try to be quiet, tryin to fight back tears because itâs scary and the tile is cold.
Donât imagine Tilda yelling at Aaron because he messed everything up. Again.
Donât imagine that string of boyfriends teasing ten-year-old Aaron, making inappropriate and cruel jokes while Tilda laughs like itâs funny.
âHowâs he going to get pussy if he canât even reach the top shelf?â
Heâs ten. He only partly understands the meaning, but heâs somehow ashamed anyway.
Donât imagine twelve-year-old Aaron coming on vacation again with Tilda when she doesnât want him there.
Getting called âAndrewâ for the first time by a cop he doesnât know.
Donât imagine the stinging slaps for âtalking to that manâ and getting him involved in their business.
Donât imagine the first time Tilda beats Aaron until heâs beggingâ until his face bruises and blackens. Not the first time heâs been hit, but the first he canât get up in the morning because of it.
Donât imagine hearing that phone call, with his own mother confirming his worst fears; that he was unwanted. That she wished she hadnât kept either of them if Andrew was going to be punishment for it now.
Donât imagine that Aaronâs only memories of touch are pinches, scratches and blows.
Donât imagine Aaron meeting his brother for the first time and being embarrassed by the dark bruises covering his skin like paint.
Donât imagine Aaron wanting so badly to be loved that heâs willing to open his home to a complete stranger who hardly looks at him.
Donât imagine him being promised to be protected, for the first time.
Donât imagine the next day, when Tilda beats him bloody anyway.
Donât imagine him trying to hide that disappointment, that bitterness.
Donât imagine the Aaron being called out of study hall by Andrewâs name.
Donât imagine the way the news rings in his earsâ dead. Dead. Gone forever.
Donât imagine Aaron knowing it was Andrew.
Donât imagine Aaron fearing what will happen next, all alone in the world save for a brother who he hardly knowsâ who killed his mom.
Donât imagine feeling conflictedâ being ashamed of the relief he feels walking into the house without Tilda there to throw things if he messes up.
Donât imagine Aaron choking back tears because he is so hurt and confused and scared.
Donât imagine that Aaron is only sixteen and everything familiar is gone.
Donât imagine Aaron Minyard if youâre not going to see these things too.
no but seriously you guys Aaron Minyard is a backliner. just think about that for a minute.Â
âWhat position do you want to play?â
âThe one where I stand next to the tallest guy on the court and people try and run over me and iâm like âfuck no, back the fuck offâ.â
Like i believe that Andrew is a goalie because of course he is, heâs the last line of defense, the immoveable, the one who ruins everyoneâs day saying âno.â And Aaron is like âbring me the glory seeking strikers so i can shove them away and be like no not today - and if you get by me, may i introduce you to my twin brother in the goal there.âÂ
minyard twins =the one-two punch of âI donât think so motherfuckerâÂ
Ok I keep thinking about youtuber aaron semi au/mostly canon compliant if we pretend the books were a little more modern. Anyway
It starts because the vixens have a youtube channel, where they post mostly routines and cheerleading tips and nutrition videos and funny day in the life of/practice videos
I like to imagine aaron is actually pretty close with some of the vixens, Katelyn's friends, but he likes them a fair amount, so he hangs out around them, mostly for Katelyn, a little for some of the other vixens.
And he ends up on their channel every once in a while, in the background joking with Katelyn, or trying to follow a routine during practice, or yelling off screen about nutrition.
Subscribers love him
Eventually Katelyn convinces him to get his own YouTube channel, and he can rant on it and shit, and he's like ok why not, it's not like I'm a very busy student, it's not like I'm on a sport's team, and barely sleep as it is, and she's like suck it up me too.
So he gets one
And it's honestly mostly videos about self care, which none of the vixens had been expecting
He has like. Mental Health Mondays, where he talks about different mental illnesses and talks about resources and options, and why you might want to go to someone even if you aren't mentally ill to help with stress or struggles in life.
And he has other scheduled days, Tuesday tips, where he gives really simple advice for daily health, foxy Fridays which always involve Katelyn and are usually sports nutrition or stretches or other videos specifically about sport health.
But none of them are weekly, he just posts them when he posts them, and schedules them according to content.
There is one segment that is weekly. Surviving Sundays
He always starts these videos like: in all the situations that I talk about, my first suggestion is to get help. And then he lists resources for whatever that week's issue is.
Then he'll go on with his videos.
Sometimes it's self-defense videos, or it's coping with abuse, or removing yourself from unhealthy relationships, coping with any number of struggles that people go through.
He tries not to think about how popular those videos are, but he posts them every week at the same time, and he takes requests. Sometimes, he'll get an email, and, if he gets permission from the person who sent it, he forwards it to people that he knowe can be more help than he can.
He doesnt do the YouTube thing forever, he has a life, and after a few years, he stops almost all his videos.
He does keep doing the Sunday segment though, sometimes himself, sometimes someone else posts a video, but they keep going up, week after week, because the truth is
Aaron has put years of schooling and passion and work into helping people, and this is another way in which he does that
Literally one of the saddest moments in aftg is when Neil is looking at all of Danâs pictures and is like Iâm going to die but atleast theyâll be able to remember me
reading the tags on this post was a god damn MISTAKE
i want a mockumentary-style aftg tv series
they meant to just follow this college team around and now holy shit what have we gotten into
The Most Unrealistic Things in AFTG
No one ever says âyâallâ. Itâs South Carolina. Everyone says yâall.
No one ever gets the twins mixed upâ even momentarily.
No one ever starts to say Andrewâs name only to realize itâs Aaron and come up with a strange hybrid name instead of correcting themselves. âAndrronâŠâ (my sister and I were Irish twins with alliterative names and this happens literally all the time. My mom is a twin and she gets it all the time too. That and just accidentally being called the wrong name.)
No one ever IDâs Neil or the twins. They are 5â and 5â3. They are bound to get IDâd all the time, by everyone. For everything.
None of the bilinguals have to stop to think of the right word when switching from their native tongue or ever struggle to translate something. Really, how the fuck does Neil know the word for âdashboard lighterâ in German?
Andrew drinks like full bottles of alcohol without getting drunkâ forget tolerance levels. Heâs five feet tall. Where does that alcohol even go??
Andrew never coughs up a lung at practice when they do drills despite smoking, like a bajillion cigarettes a day?
Thereâs more but these ones get me lmao
iâm not wrong
Please stop calling Andrew Minyard a ps*ch*p*th. Please. Even in your tags even in your untagged posts just. Don't. Also don't use it as an insult but I'm not gonna win that one so. Stop. Calling. Andrew. That. Fucking. Word.
dog park family bonding
s/o to @aaronminyardwillfightyouâs pet au. thatâs kitten the dog!
When you first see him, you think of him as Erised, Like in your favorite part of the Harry Potter books. There he stands in front of you, all you ever wanted, But you know better than to think you get to have him. There he stands, eternally right outside of your reach. At sixteen, in a shit motel, you punch a mirror. The mirror cracks, your hand starts bleeding, and you wonder Is the mirror broken? Or are you the broken one? The answer is yes. Common ground but you still donât talk. Youâve learned your lesson. Mirrors never respond to you. The next morning you pretend you donât know what happened. Nobody asks you. Nobody has ever asked you. You tell yourself you like that, but you suck at lying. You keep picking fights with mirrors. People stop laughing. You think maybe you like disgust more than amusement.
You look in a mirror, and the mirrorâs eyes are dead. You wonder what trauma your reflection has gone through. He looks even shittier than how you know you look, And thereâs a knife in his hand where youâve never held one. You look at his black eye and think you want to fix him. It doesnât take long for you to realize that you canât Fix whatever has been done to the inside of him. You canât do that for him, no matter how hard you try, But you notice how he works to fix your broken parts, In his own harsh and unforgiving way, and you know. You wonât know what it is you know until years later, Sitting next to the most beautiful girl in the world, Knowing that you cannot let yourself let her come first. You catch your own eyes in the mirror and feel guilty. You hurt her, betray him, and still arenât sure which hurts worse. You stand in front of Erised, and you close your eyes, Because the image thatâs inside can never be true, But life is easier when you stop comparing him To all the things that he cannot ever be for you. Youâve punched mirrors, but your brother pulled a knife on them. Â Â Â
