Reasons I’m 90% certain the character on chapter 3′s title card is Aspen

kay so,, where do i start,,, my blog doesnt suggest it, it Says it. Most of the characters in Self Aware are queer in some way. 

you haven’t seen anything yet because the story is still v much so in the beginning (also Elliot blushes at mell multiple times and Kai has canonically commented on how he thinks mell is attractive-) i don’t feel it’s unrealistic because as someone who’s queer most of my friends are too. even when i was in HS like my characters are right now, before i even Realized/Admitted i was queer, i hung out with all the queer kids. so it’s p spot on with my experience? and so i don’t think it’s unrealistic,, as for the relevancy yes, it’ll be relevant.  romances involving cishet characters are seen as important to the plot in most cases, and this isn’t really anything different ? in this story it’ll be Especially important actually,, most of what happens in the story hinges on how characters feel, but like i can’t give spoilers so rip ig

as for kai and mell, i can’t say Much because again Spoilers but.. i have drawn them together romantically multiple times. there’s art of them literally kissing or cuddling or just being Dumb Idiots In Love in general you can be both enemies and gay,,, that’s why i call this story a tragedy waiting to happen
