The first picture is of an old wip the i never finished and the second is a redesign I'm playing with! (Her original design wasn't weird enough. Not sure if this one is either lol.)

I don't have much info on her yet but here's what:

Was born about 2-3 years after the events of veilgaurd.

Lacy Boo is a nick name her Rook came up with for her.

After she learned to craw, she also learned that she that she can climb walls like a spider... thanks a lot spite.

They [her parents] already knew that she was more than likely going to be a mage given that Rook is and Lucanis' possession, but the wall climbing really sealed the deal 💀.

She's extra sensitive towards spirits being able to touch, see, hear, so on and so forth.

She'll most likely end up being a morn watcher or a rivaini seer when she's older.

Rook before she was born made Lucanis swear to her that he wouldn't train or persuade her into being a crow before she was an adult. Which was fine since in my cannon he left the crows, but I believe that Caterina wouldn't be too thrilled about it.

TW: Emotional manipulation, alcoholism and attempted suicide Meribel was adopted into the Mercar family as a baby. During this time, she struggled with emotionally absent parents, undiagnosed bipolar disorder, and falling for the wrong girl. The girl she was head over heels for as a teen was emotionally manipulative. The girl had done several things to Meribel with introducing her to alcohol and convincing her participate in a blood ritual having the biggest impact on her life. The ritual went wrong causing Meribel to be pretty badly hurt and was infused with magical prowess. The girl left Meribel at the ritual site and tattled on her to her parents. When Meribel finally made it home, she was kicked out on the spot before even getting a chance to explain herself. She would continue to spend the next five years (16 to 21) living on the streets doing what she could to survive and satiate her alcoholism. At 21 she attempted suicide but was saved by a Shadow Dragon (likely Viper but not 100% sure yet) and was recruited soon after recovering.
