Omegaverse is gaining popularity, and making me miss making abo headcanons. i might try to make a few posts

Omega ruled Society

In a universe where its more omega leaning, I'd like to believe Alphas would have a more protective status in society.

Alphas would more likely be the ones staying home with their pups till they can go to daycare.

Alphas becoming more competitive in terms of presentation and their ability to care.

Alpha x Alpha families would be two alphas fussing over their pup

Omegas in this universe would be more of the breadwinner in families.

Omega healthcare would be at its best, suppressants being offered and easy access.

Omega Parental leave would be a nice 6 months. extra time for bonding with pups. Time off for heats would be accepted.

Omega x omega relationships would be HEAVILY ACCEPTED.

For my universes, i make Betas be able to shift according to their partners. Betas being able to stop the shift is possible, or to be able to push their shift in a certain direction. If people like this idea enough, i can expand on it and do the bad sides of this universe.

Me thinking abt how black culture and racism would've changed in omegaverse

If scent's genetic, do you think there would be "dirty scents" (Like scents people say are unclean despite them being like- Prairie grass or smth) and shit?

Oh yes absolutely, If we're talking scents I don't think it'd be the nature-ish ones, I think it'd be the ones to do with spices and warmth, maybe even a few smokier ones. Like cinnamon, saffron, cardamom, ginger, woodsmoke, maybe things like mahogany, or coffee.

I think the "good" smells for non-poc/black omegas would be sweet smells like, apple, peach, just about any sort of flowery scent, cake, vanilla, cotton, candy, honey, anything like this.

For alphas it's sea salt, eucalyptus, lemon, ocean, pine, sandalwood, ect ect. ofc, I think that the scents alphas prefer on other alphas is different, but I don't really know much about that ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I also think that there's a difference between nature-ish scents and earthy scents, and I think the nature ones would tend to be the preferred (ex. Lavender or grass vs nutmeg or amber) I just think that smelling too warm or dark or heavy would be how a lot of black people would smell, and for some reason (it's racism) those would be classified as "too strong" or they "inherently smell bad".

And if a black person does have one of the more light and airy scents they're either classified as, "one of the good ones", unworthy of having their scent, or lucky, even though that's just how they smell...? Lol.

Some people even get products to cover their scent with an entirely different one, which brings an entirely different type of micro aggression where nonblack people start asking whether that's "your actual scent" and "what do you use to smell like that" and other low-key racist things. Like idk maybe that's just, once again, how they smell.

I'm sure black omegas are considered inherently less omega just because of their blackness. Like imagine an omega with a cinnamon and ginger scent being told their nest smells like an alpha, or even being accused of cheating because of how they smell.

funny enough I have some ocs like this.

-Alpha thinking their partners are the best when they're ready to throw down

-its a tol alpha so big jackets... so many have been stolen

-I like to imagine there's bit of a stigma about omegas being rough but its quickly shut down with the fact that they can defend their young.

-the omega heats sync up and its just cuddle central but they get rough over jackets in the nest if both want a particular one.

-tol alpha I'm imagining is that tol gentle giant but, cross them and the omegas get you. but if its bad enough to get alpha to react you messed up

-quickest way to get alpha ready to throw hands is to say something or hurt their omegas.

-the omegas probably taught the alpha how to fight. bonding time for them. alpha has some bruises.

-if this trio had babies they'd teach the kids how to fight when they get older regardless of genders.

-omegas patch eachother up as an omega bonding time. its very cute.

-omegas spar and it sometimes has to get broken up by the alpha because they get too into it.

Each dynamic has a certain eye color.

Birthmark that has the dynamic.

Voice could be specific to the dynamics. 

Overall mannerisms are distinctive. 

Ear shape could be different. 

Heights could be specific to dynamic. 

Hair color.

Hair length.

The possibilities are truly endless.

NOTE: these scents are not tied to the secondary gender they’re listed as. A beta scent can be used for an alpha, an omegan scent for a beta, etc.
