I recently discovered “The 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle” and absolutely fell in love with it! It’s such a fantastic and intense story!! I highly recommend it if you enjoy murder mysteries or thrillers!

A really enjoyable book. I loved the elements of the classic story mixed together with the fantasy world of this book. I also feel like the world building was really interesting and would eagerly read more of it.
Children of Blood and Bone By Tomi Adeyemi

I did enjoy this book and felt the pacing was good and engaging. I did find that I guessed most of the "big" twists before they were revealed but despite that I still enjoyed the story. I like that ending was left open in a way that we could explore more in this main characters world, I did enjoy the main character and would love to read more adventures/cases with her.
| 2018 reads | #12 | Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan
A straight up addictive fun novel that is basically what I imagine is the book equivalent of watching one of those reality tv shows about rich dramatic people. I enjoyed this book I thought the characters were both fun and infuriating but I enjoy reading books where I don't love or even like all the characters. I wish the ending had a bit more closure as it was left kind of open but I assume that was to make way for the other books in the series, which I will for sure be checking out. At the end of the day this was just a really fun story to read and I enjoyed the wild, outrageous world it takes place in.
| 2018 reads | #11 | Immortal Reign by Morgan Rhodes
Not much to say on this series that I can really talk about seeing as it’s the last book in a series. I’m gonna miss it. It’s such a fun, fast based series that’s truly enjoyable to read.
| 2018 reads | #10 | Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab
3.5 stars. I did enjoy this book but also I felt I enjoyed the first more and maybe I should re read it before starting this because o didn’t have the same attachment to the characters. My biggest issues was only that the ending felt so rush compared to long drawn out beginning. I still felt this was a great little read and he plot never felt boring or too fast paced it was just right I only wish it had of been a little longer at the end instead of so many things happening at once and the the book being over! Also I should say I love the world building in this book and would totally read more in this world even if the story is over for the two main characters of this one
| 2018 reads | #9 | The Mountain Between Us by Charles Martin
This was a fast and easy read with a good amount of action. I found the romance aspect of it a little hallmark cheesy but still overall enjoyable. I much more enjoyed the survival plot line and the witty banter in parts between the two mains was entertaining. In conclusion it’s like a less cheesy hallmark romance with a fight for survival mixed in.
| 2018 reads | #8 | The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan
This book as gorgeously written the imagery was so beautiful. I deeply enjoyed this book. It was so heartbreaking and hard to read at times but so wonderful.
