The comic itself is untitled, but the first chapter was titled Casey's Troubles, with Casey being the Japanese name for Abra. I decided to use that title for the name of this blog.

Hey, all. I'm not dead, in fact I'm getting back to work on this tonight. A couple of things since I left off: -The site I was using for translating sound effects seems to have gone down. I haven't found another seachable library of Japanese sound effects that comprehensive since. I'm sticking with my prior method of if I don't know a sound effect, I'm going to leave it as is. I was already doing the same for if I couldn't work a translation into the artwork smoothly. Inari handwrote all of the dialogue and sound effects, and while I don't have it in me to try to write speech bubble text by hand, I was doing so for the sound effects to try to keep it blended into the art. -I really should get the full translation script done before I typeset the rest of this comic. So while I am working on it, it might delay me getting the rest of this up by a little bit. Rest assured that this isn't on my back burner anymore, I really do want to finish it. -I also want to redo the translation of the first chapter. I was still figuring out a good method for this, and I kind of dropped the ball on making sure that the dialogue actually flowed nicely and conveyed what was going on properly in English. Finishing the comic translation is a priority, then I might go back and redo the first chapter. Anyways, thanks for hanging in there!

I'm sorry it's been so slow. I haven't abandoned this project. -I started a new job this year. -I've been dedicating some of my personal time to my own art and the gym. The translation script is about halfway done, and I think that might be able to get another chapter done if I put aside some time for typesetting. We'll see.

ヘリコプターの風圧の強さについての文句は一切受け付けません。まあこれも漫画の特権ということで！

Translator's note: While I do translate the sound effects as often as I can, it isn't something I want to ruin any of the artistic integrity of the panels for. The バs all over the panels this chapter are the sound of the helicopter blades, which I don't know a good onomatopoeia for in English, and I don't want to write all over the panels like that anyways.

How did the abra changed back? will it be an alakazam again?

Now, I'm only roughly a third through the translation, so as far as what happens... I'm not 100% sure myself. I did read through the Japanese version before I started this, but I'm not a fluent Japanese speaker, so I didn't get a complete grasp of what was going on.

I do appreciate the ask but when it comes to spoiler stuff, I'm not going to have all the answers right away.

Translator's note: I do apologize. There's a little bit of text left untranslated this chapter. It's because it's either too small and pixelated for me to read, or because it's a katakana loan word from a language I can't identify. (Like on the back of the tool box.) I'm sorry about that.

I've seen The Post, I know about The Post.

That said this blog isn't even a week old, and I don't feel comfortable posting the comic on any art sites since the art and story aren't mine. At most, some of the dialogue is, since I've had to rework it to make sense, fit the characters and properly convey the story in English.

I have the whole of the comic saved on my computer, both the original Japanese and what I've translated so far, so even if something happens to Tumblr, I won't lose it.

I'll keep posting it here for now, and if any good alternatives pop up, I'll post it there. I'm not sure I want to put it on any scanlation manga sites, because I want to make sure links to Inari's pixiv are kept with it, along with their artist's comments.
