I wish to present to everyone the idea of Bow carving a new pair of DnD figures.
Catra gets one. She plays it off like it’s a dumb toy that she doesn’t care about, but she carries the thing around in her pocket. Potentially to covertly touch whenever she starts to feel anxious or out of place in her new friend group.
Hordak accepts his with only a momentary slip in his normally deadpan expression. It is “an adequate representation, but unnecessarily extravagant for strategy meetings.” Once he brings it home, however, he quietly places it on his night table, or the mantelpiece, or wherever he keeps the very few possessions he owns. It becomes one of the only things that Imp will not steal when feeling mischievous.
At some point, both Hordak and Catra realize, to their shared horror and everyone else’s delight, that both of their figures’ ears are designed to wiggle when gently flicked.
My word, I forgot I had this thought. Now I’m enjoying the mental imagery again. Adorable.
