Handled Naira for the first time. She's an absolute dream. Very docile, a little bit timid, but curious. Right now she's curled up on the back of my neck, and probably asleep.

Unfortunately, she has reptile mites. I'm going to be contacting the breeder about this, because that means Nyx is going to have them too. Luckily mites aren't a "bomb the whole house and seal all your belongings in bags" type thing. Unfortunately it does mean my poor babies will be having paper towel as substrate for the next several months.

Ughhhhh. I'm pissed.

Reptile owners of Tumblr, do you know the best way to treat mites? I've read a lot but I'd like opinions of real people.
