Hi, I’m Abby! I’m more active in other places but will occasionally post art here! I’m a big Star Wars fan but I seemingly gravitate towards corners away from the main movies/eras. The High Republic is my main love but recently I’ve been getting into SWTOR!! I also love BG3, Transistor, DnD, uhhh insert other interests I prob just won’t talk about on here. Mostly play with my toys (OCs).

I'm 3/4 through "Tears of the Nameless," and I just realized I've never drawn Reath Silas before

So, here he is! 📚

The scars we bear.

The really long context to whoever wishes to hear my oc yapping: this is my bbg Benni, my Jedi Knight and commander.

In game her main style is shadow and secondary guardian. Lore wise, I was thinking about how inconvenient the polesaber has got to be in sneakier situations (especially during kotxx when she’s public enemy #1) and how I wanted her to have a regular sized saber with a white crystal but no lore for the crystal. The other day I was pondering her possession and was like??? Why not make it her own crystal?? Also bc i was thinking of the possession cut scene and how funny it is that she’s in Jedi gear with a bright green lightsaber. She acquires a new green one before getting back to work but doesn’t get rid of the red crystal, tossing it into a drawer on her ship for years.

The top half of the first page is right after defeating Bengal Morr and being given her lightsaber supplies and happy tears for her first crystal and knighthood in sight. The bottom half is directly after escaping the emperor’s station/heading back to Tython and realizing the damage. Post possession she’s mainly just confused and disoriented, and what sadness she does experience is directed towards crystal (sadness wondering what her past self would’ve had to experience to have bled it + it was the only physical thing she had as a reminder of Orgus and she “broke” it.)

When it comes to the Rishi quest and pre reveal the emperor is still around, she THINKS she’s healed from that experience by then (loud incorrect buzzer), and let’s Orgus return the memories but then they just weigh on her until she’s frozen. (Also said memories weighing on her made worst by Ziost events… so sad but so yummy… ngl I love replaying Ziost.)

Then she’s unfrozen yay!! Everything moves so fast she doesn’t even begin process the stuff pre freezing, all the life threatening events during the escape to Odessen, and her worst enemy chilling in her head until between chapters 9 and 10 and… she’s not good at opening up to any of her buddies. Blah blah blah she gets better and grows into the role as commander.

With chapter 12, I always choose resilience and had both Satele and marr help (I’ve played through it with her like 3 times now), and I’d like to think the process of building the saber did some weird Force stuff and her crystal (the second green one) ended up lighter, nearly white (I like the idea of her reusing her crystal instead of a new one she found in the woods). Seeing that effect + the lessons of that chapter + valkorion being “gone”, she began to actually process her own trauma, leading her to purifying that first crystal sometime before chapter 15.

She then used this purified crystal for a regular single saber 🕺 the end yay.

Even though I set her secondary combat style I do not use it I love shadow too much + the guardian saber she has is also just green I’m not buying a white crystal.

Situations in which I think she’s wielding it + the design I drew months ago before I figured this all out:

Kotet chapter 6 bc why don’t I get to have a lightsaber in my disguise??? My girlie blends in better than the actual spy here?? (Edit: actually… probably not bc in my head she’s like 5’2”… something something aren’t you a little short to be a knight of Zakuul but still I have a lot of thoughts about that chapter in particular and she’s still for sure using this saber instead of the polesaber)

Kotet chapter 9. Takes it as a “just in case” but really is just drawn to given the circumstances. Prob doesn’t use it but still has it.

Copero bc my approach is always sneaky and I think she’s going in sneaky blah blah blah (in reality I suck against all the chiss tanks WHY ARE THEY TANKS?? I spend 70% of the flashpoint in stealth) also as a Theronmancer… loud sigh to not start yapping too much about how she handled that situation but instead of directing her grief/emotions at an object (like with the crystal after her possession), she’s using the saber/other items as things to ground herself

Echoes of oblivion but as a backup saber. She prefers the polesaber but there’s something about her bringing along the “reclaimed” crystal (like the Kotet situation)

Desperate defiance bc it was a lot of sneaking around shrugs

I haven’t really decided about Pursuit of ruin/galactic threads but I’ve been thinking about just the tattooine and Hoth parts

Mek-sha date bc my girlie is going to take the opportunity to wear something cute but also it’s Mek-sha and she should probably have a weapon. Also bc both of them are prone to getting into situations

Also also now pondering her bringing the red crystal to Ziost. I know Theron gave her codes to get there (? Iirc??) but like… she’s not getting to the surface looking like her normal self + the polesaber is super noticeable… so uh pretend to be sith? (And another source of internal conflict Yipee I love making Ziost worse than it already is) Once she’s on the surface she’s switching it out. Or maybe not to continue blending in. Idk I’m still pondering it.

Ugh I have an actual problem which is that I NEED to stop drawing this woman from the same angle every damn time, but! There’s new SWTOR story! For the first time in years!!! And it made me very nostalgic. 🥹

OC-tober 2025 | Day 1: New OC(s)

On month two of swtor brain rot and I’m about to finish my second class story!! I’ve completely caught my Jedi Knight up and trying to finish my Sith Warrior. I’ve made guys for every other class and have played a bit and have an idea of the kinda guy I want them to be but I’ve been mainly playing with my JK and SW. I’m very obsessed with my JK Benni I’ve been doodling her the most recently. When I finish my SW I’m prob gonna wait to work through the expansions and play my Imperial Agent or Smuggler.
