For you, at what point would you consider someone to be intelligent?
I've been asking myself the same question for about a month now and I can't get a clear answer. What exactly constitutes intelligence? Logic? Knowledge?

I have just realized that one of our main reasons for living is to save time.
We constantly want to save time, to do our homework, to arrive somewhere earlier, or even to be able to go to bed early.
But why are we doing this ?
I think it's because we're afraid of death.
I know it sounds strange when put like that, but here's why.
We want to save time so we can enjoy happiness, so we can have the opportunity for our situation to improve, so we can achieve our goals, or because we're afraid we won't go to heaven.
And why are we afraid of not going to heaven?
(This part is religious)
When we practice a religion, we are taught that humans commit sins and make mistakes, but that this is normal and that we must repent when it happens. But there are certain people, or simply the system, that puts pressure on us, like: "you'd better revise, the final exams are coming up" "be top of your class", "You'd better not be of that sexual orientation."etc. You know, that kind of authoritarian little sentence that ultimately puts pressure on us and harms our well-being.
After experiencing pressure, we need to release it, so we turn to our addictions, and we do it more and more, with every authoritarian sentence that tires us out.
After committing a sin, we feel bad, we are consumed by guilt, so we repent, again and again. But at some point, we get the impression that the creator is angry with us and that there is no point in repenting anymore, so we stop doing it, forgetting that the creator is merciful.
That's why we're afraid of death; we want to wait for the right moment to repent, to pull ourselves together, and to be able to be pious.
I would like to remind you that death is omnipresent; one can die at any moment, whether doing evil or doing good.
(This part is no longer religious)
Sometimes we wish life had a pause button so we could finally breathe and live like a human being.
Because living the same day every day (washing, going to school/work, coming home, eating and going to bed). This is not a human life, we need to rest. (I say this, but I do exactly that every day)
So that's why we want life to have a pause button, so we can take a deep breath, reflect, and save time.

Why do we need to stop using AI?
AI can have a negative impact on the planet primarily due to its energy and material footprint. Here are the main reasons, explained simply why AI can be harmful to the planet.
1) Massive electricity consumption
AI models require data centers filled with very powerful servers. Training a large model can consume as much electricity as hundreds of households use for a year. Even daily use (queries, image generation, etc.) consumes energy continuously. This electricity often still comes from fossil fuels, resulting in CO2 emissions.
2) Enormous need for water to cool servers
Data centers generate a lot of heat. They are cooled by systems that use a lot of water. A large data center can consume millions of liters of water per year. In some regions, this increases the pressure on drinking water supplies.
3) Electronic waste
Computer equipment quickly becomes obsolete. Result: Tons of electronic waste Recycling still limited Chemical pollution
4) Explosion in AI use
The real problem is its very rapid growth: AI in apps Generated images AI videos Assistants everywhere. The more its use increases, the greater its ecological footprint.
In summary, AI is harmful to the planet, primarily because of the energy, water, rare materials, and electronic waste it requires, and its rapid growth.

Why is AI harmful to new creative professions and human intelligence?
First, AI can be harmful to new creative professions.
1) Partial replacement of emerging creators
New creative professions (illustrators, graphic designers, video editors, copywriters, etc.) are the most vulnerable because AI produces quickly and for free clients often choose the cheapest option beginners don't yet have a reputation Result : fewer opportunities to learn and progress for beginners.
Example: many companies use image generators instead of paying junior illustrators. I recently saw AI-generated ads on TV! It shocks me greatly because it's major brands doing this!
2) Devaluation of Creative Work
When an image or text can be generated in seconds, some people think : "Creating is easy." Consequences like lower rates, less recognition and pressure to produce faster.
3) Standardization of Style
AI learns from existing content; essentially, it reproduces dominant trends. Therefore styles become similar, originality decreases and creators may imitate AI to remain competitive.
Why AI Can Affect Human Intelligence ?
1) Less Cognitive
Effort If AI writes, summarizes, corrects, draws, and explains: the brain gets less exercise. But intelligence develops through effort, mistakes, research and active memory. Without this, there is a decline in certain abilities.
2) Cognitive Dependence
A phenomenon already observed with the internet: we memorize less, we think for shorter periods and we outsource our thinking. This is sometimes called the βGoogle effectβ, we remember where to find information but not the information itself. AI accentuates this because it thinks for us.
3) Reduction of Personal Creativity
Human creativity stems from: boredom, free imagination, exploration and experimentation But if AI immediately offers ideas, images, texts and solutions the brain explores less.
AI can be harmful to creative professions and human intelligence because it can reduce opportunities for new creators, devalue creativity, standardize styles, reduce cognitive effort and create intellectual dependence

Advice :
Moving to ecosia, it's much more environmentally friendly
Stop using ai (ChatGPT, c.ai, gemini etc.). I know it's difficult, especially for people who are addicted to c.ai (I can help you privately with c.ai addiction, send me a message).
Talk to your loved ones about the disadvantages of AI.
Thank you for reading all of this !
Why are differences so important to me?
A few weeks ago I read this book:
After reading it, my perception of the world changed.
Short summary: In a society devoid of emotions and freedom, Jonas discovers memories of the world before. Realizing that this "perfection" conceals grave injustices, he flees to find Freedom
It changed my perception of the world because when I was little, I told my therapist: "I would like us (humans) to all be the same person, without differences, so that no one will be able to harass someone because of their physical appearance or intellectual abilities". And she said to me, "Are you sure? Wouldn't it be boring if we were all the same person?"I don't know why, but that answer stuck in my mind, even though it didn't affect me at all when she said it.Regardless, reading this book made me realize how much the difference was significant. Personally, I live in a neighborhood where all cultures, social classes, origins, languages, colors, and clothing styles are represented. It was by interacting with these people at my school or in parks, for example, that my general knowledge was enriched. I learned things that would have been difficult to understand if I had searched for them on Google. I learned things I wouldn't have even thought to search for on Google.
It's time to show tolerance and learn instead of criticizing. For example, I had noticed that the goth style He was very critical; people called this style "satanic" or something like that. Whereas in reality, the goth style is a political message through fashion, a powerful message of rebellion against racism and capitalism. Another example: Islam. It is a magnificent religion, yet people with influence distort verses of the Quran to make it appear the opposite of what it is. All this to say that if you hadn't met people with different interests, you would probably have believed it was propaganda or lies.
All of this made me think of Trump (you know, that orange man).
I don't live in the USA so I can't describe the situation like a true witness, but I'll give you a summary based on what I see on the news.
ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is a U.S. federal agency responsible for enforcing immigration laws: it arrests, detains, and deports undocumented people or those considered to be in an illegal situation. What is often criticized as unfair are its methods: sometimes violent arrests, family separations, long detentions in poor conditions, and the deportation of people who have lived in the United States for many years, sometimes without posing any real danger, which raises serious human rights and dignity concerns.
The American government wants America to "become" white again (yesβ¦America isn't even white to begin withβ¦it's sad).
ICE is relevant to the subject of this vlog because it wants there to be no other culture than white America, no more mixing, no more exchange of knowledge (I'm talking about traditions from other countries).
By the way, I want to support all the people who have been separated from their families because of ICE β€οΈ. Let's not wait years to protest, make your voices heard.

Free will ?
What is it ? For me, it's an illusion, and I'll explain why.
First of all, what is free will? It's the power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one's own discretion.
I think it's an illusion because, in my opinion, humans created this for to escape the constraints that society has imposed. But humans also know that if they abuse free will there will be major repercussions for themselves and their environment. So I would say that they don't really use free will as the definition of it, but I would say that a human being who has responsibilities and who lives the same day every day (waking up, work, eat etc.) will dreams of being able to possess free will and use it as he pleases but societal "norms" prevent him from doing so, so he developed this desire (free will) and executes it by dancing in the street, for example. And when he does these small things, he will feel invincible. But this feeling is fleeting because after doing this small action we feel a little embarrassed, a fear of judgment, even if a part of us says: " We don't give a damn what he thinks !".
In conclusion, I think that free will is an illusion because we are not able to exercise it fully without repercussions.
2nd argument :
We don't choose our desires any more than we choose our genetics, our upbringing, or our sexual orientation.
For example: two people.
One person loves coffee and the other hates coffee. Did the person who loves coffee choose to love coffee? They can say "I love coffee," but can they also say "today, I decide to hate coffee"? Desire is not created by a conscious choice.
"But my desires come from me!" Yes, but who is this "me"?
Desires come from the brain, from your history, your upbringing, your body, and your experiences. We don't choose our desires.
So the "self" does not create its desires, it receives them.
"To be free, one would have to choose what one wants to want." But you want x without having chosen to want x, so your choice is already biased before you even decide.
In conclusion to the second argument: you make choices, but these choices stem from desires, therefore your freedom is fundamentally limited.
