I really do need to get off this blog for personal reasons. Consider this indefinite hiatus. I'll probably make another multifandom/fanart blog, and I'll link to it then. For now, catch me at @alicebarnousky or IM me for my Vent username.
EDIT: be sure to PM my other blog! I already moved this one to a less active account.

Jessica’s car was pinned under a truck while she was trying free it. She wasn’t complying with orders, so the sergeant shot her once and killed her.
It doesn’t sound like she tried to run anyone over. She was trying to escape, drove recklessly, smashed into a truck, and then was killed trying to free it. There was no “threatening” or “imminent danger of death” or risk of “serious bodily injury”. It was an execution.
There was no immediate indication that the woman was armed or had been driving the car toward officers when she was shot.
People gathered Friday night on 3rd Street, main thoroughfare of the Bayview district, to honor and mourn Jessica (Nelson) Williams, another Black person gunned down by police.
“The city authorities have this twisted notion of white supremacy, so devious,” said one woman. “We need to take our community back. Everyone needs to find their place in this movement, and step into it.”
“Don’t be afraid of the police,” said another woman. “Speak up, take your stand, hold your ground.” Marla, young poet, delivered fiery, rapid-fire words of defiance. This is a young, caring, self-confident new movement we’re seeing, blossoming before our very eyes.

At least 32 states have reported sightings of creepy, threatening clowns. Here is a list of the states and what…
Creepy, threatening clown sightings have been increasing over the last couple months, leading residents of affected states to wonder just what’s going on. Earlier on Friday, some schools in Reading, Ohio were closed after a woman reported being attacked by someone dressed as a clown who threatened the students at her school. But the complaints extend far beyond Ohio. At least 32 states have had strange clown sightings so far.
Some clown sightings just hoaxes or jokes, and some may have been copycats from earlier news reports. For example, a report of a clown in Agawam, Massachusetts ended up being part of a promotion for the New England Scare Fest. And a report about a clown shot and killed in Indiana was apparently a hoax. (Read more about that in the Indiana section below.) But not all incidents are explained that easily, and a number of arrests have already been made. Some of the social media threats to different schools have caused parents a lot of concerns. And some of these threats, even though they’re sent to different states, are coming from accounts using the same fake clown names.
The affected states so far are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Scroll down to see details on each state and let us know in the comments about any sightings that aren’t listed here.
Here are the states affected and what happened. States are listed in alphabetical order.
Hey. Can y'all spread this post because my text post about this currently has over 20,000 notes with a lot of added comments containing unsubstantiated and/or false information and this one dispels a lot of rumors but it currently only has nine notes? Please and thank you.
When cis girls wear their mothers’ clothes, it’s seen as harmless, cute even. At worst, it’s a little annoying. It can even be a moment of bonding.
When trans girls wear their mothers’ clothes, it’s seen as disgusting, perverse. It’s considered overtly sexual in any context and used as evidence that we’re predators, that we can’t be trusted.
If you don’t understand why that’s fucked up, I don’t know what to tell you.
Cis people continue to be shocked by this post and it just serves as a reminder that they really have no idea the shit trans women have to deal with from day 0.
this dog is definitely gay
@rainbowtush
I made a couple posts about this last night, but I’d rather make an announcement today.
I’m cleaning the negativity and bitterness out of my blog. I might go on hiatus after that, it depends on how I feel. I’ll still be active on @alicebarnousky.
I’m going to start using Vent for that stuff. It’s a healthier environment for it. I’ve been really toxic in how I seek attention on Tumblr. I’ve been unfair and I’m sure it’s been as bad for others as it has been for me.
If anyone wants my Vent username, shoot me a PM. I get pretty personal on there, so I don’t like making it public.
