so is accursed gonna shut down and then reopen or is it just gonna be revamp while things continue?

you guys are more than welcome to continue to write until the relaunch goes into effect !! but we won’t be accepting anyone new in ‘accursed’, the relaunch (which has a new name) will be where any and all apps are going to be accepted. so once you know who you still want to play in the new group, let us know immediately so we can make sure that it’s marked as taken.

the relaunch / new group will have the same plot and same concept as accursed, just in a new town with some new twists so there’s no reason anyone has to start over their characters unless its something they would like to do.. so if you want to keep writing, you can without fear that it’ll all be ‘wiped away’

Is this roleplay active? How fast does the timeline move? What timezone are most the muns in and what times do they seem to be on most?

our activity varies but i confidently say just about everyone shows up to do their replies without making their partners wait too, too long !! and our timezones are all listed on our masterlist. none of the people who i would consider the most active are from timezones anywhere near each other

Is there a mod on currently?

there wasn’t and unfortunately i have to run off now even though i’ve only been on for two seconds.. we’re not usually this disorganized ( and we’re usually faster at getting the inbox ) but a lot of unexpected shit hit every admin this weekend. the reasons are personal but you can all expect the main to resume back to normal activity once this weekend passes !!

I have a few Latin characters but I’m having problems trying to find someone for one of them. This Latin character... She’s an older woman who appears much younger than her age. She would be pale complexioned with dark (preferably black) hair.

the only older woman i could think of is karla souza. however, she seems perfect for what you described. but some younger suggestions are chloe bridges, isabella gomez, isabella drummond, sofia carson or yvette monreal !!

how close to canon can we play our characters ?

that’s up to you !! their ‘cursed’ persona and life shouldn’t mirror their life back in their realm, but once they’re awake, you’re free to have them revert back as much as you would like ( or have their personalities contradict ). you should leave the essence / core of the character in tact but you have lengthy, lengthy creative liberties here and we encourage development
