If you didn't want to be assimilated into my found family then you should have killed me when you had the chance
You ever just get told something so fucking ableist it makes you unable to calm down?
Anyways don't tell disabled people shit like "ph well nobody else gets [insert accommodation here] so why should you?" Or "Well don't sit there complaining about the constant Neverending pain your in" or "if anyone should sit it should be me since I've been here all day".
All I asked for was a chair not a lecture
I am. Seething.
You know what pisses me off as an AFAB audhd person in a corporate environment that almost no one understands?(For context, I'm not even 'out' as an autistic because that'd be a bad idea)
I have to work much harder and to perform at a higher level than an average person to compensate for my social ineptitude and to even be tolerated on a surface level. And that's not even enough. Some people still take offence on me, just existing and doing my best.
This is why I will probably never get promoted at any workplace that I'll ever be. Because hard work and high performance aren't enough to go up on a corporate ladder. You have to kiss some asses and know right people.
I'm expected by default to perform at a higher level than everyone else. Although I sometimes get praise and recognition for my performance, it seems like other people are getting more of that for doing less.
But the moment I stop performing at such level, I get quite a bit of shit for that, and it feels like it's disproportionate. When other people in my work, who have bigger social capital away with much more. It's easier to pick on a hard-working weirdo.
It just feels awful. As much as I hate what I do, I care about it, I can't not care. It sucks existing as an autistic person.
This is hands down the most important video I’ve ever made. Please listen.
I'm so extremely serious when I say doctors should be put through an extremely extensive reliscensing process every 10 years. Doctors should have their knowledge scrutinized against current medical research and be de-barred at even the tiniest discrepancy. Too many old doctors absolutely refuse to stay up to date on research and dismiss patients because of their personal experiences. Too many people die every year because doctors don't take us seriously and refuse to listen to people who KNOW something is wrong. Too many people are told their problems are nothing and come back in a year or more with serious illnesses and doctors are just like "lol everyone makes mistakes" but doctors mistakes routinely cost people their lives! I'm tired of medical malpractice being swept away under the guise of "mistakes were made."
If lawyers have to take 20-30 hours of continuing law education classes every single year, doctors should have to go through a reliscencing process every 10.
writing tip:
if you push buttons on a keyboard, letters will appear on the screen. and with that power you can do anything
i think it was cruel to give lightning mcqueen a foot fetish, as he lives in a world where all feet are wheels. he has nothing.
sorry i wasnt talking to you i think
This seems to be what I've learned.
The truth is most people think being disabled is a death sentence but instead of advocating for disabled people they r convinced that they’ll never become disabled as if being disabled is some biblical punishment. Guess what? Accidents happen. You will get old and your body will stop working like it used to. Imagine if we live in a world where disability is seen as normal. Where we actually take care of each other.
Also I don’t think we have as many abled body people in the world as we think. I think many people are so terrified of being disabled that they r willing overwork themselves to prove they can do it. Many people deal with chronic pain and physical health issues in silence. Because they don’t want to be burden. I think we should be burden to each other and i think labor should be shared.
If you're wondering what that sound was, it's Diana cackling from the afterlife.

Me in 2022 when the pandemic hasn’t ended yet because people don’t know how to act right and I’ve been holed up in my house for three years acquiring a new flavor of crazy, going to open the door for the guy in the hazmat suit that’s come to deliver my groceries

genuinely hope to see the fall of christianity as a global power some day in my lifetime
belief on an individual level, whatever that's fine, but do not act as if christianity's influence and doctrine is not a heavy hand behind some of the most evil governmental decisions being wrought upon people at this very moment (anti-trans bills, don't say gay bills, roe vs. wade repeal, etc)
people who are not christian are being forced to live by christian standards and under christian rules and that isn't right
help
Alright that’s a good exception to an otherwise solid rule.

The proper way to play Our Life is to make sure the MC is self-insert so you can realize just how sad and lonely you are irl while Cove sets unrealistic expectations for your romantic standards.
