I think Athena doesn’t hate Percy. She likes him really. She just hates the fact that Percy and Annabeth are together. Specifically Percy and Annabeth.

Annabeth looks so much like Athena, she acts like Athena, she’s basically a mini Athena that had the chance to love.

And Percy. I imagine he’s exactly like her. Like Pallas. He has Pallas’ eyes, he acts like her, he smiles like her. He’s exactly like Pallas.

I wonder if Athena’s relationship with Pallas is different in Neal’s comics (Famtheon on WEBTOON) because in some of the original texts Athena was essentially raised in Atlantis by Triton (son of Poseidon, father of Pallas), hell it’d be really interesting if she did in the Neal!
