McCarthy is the name of an active senator. Like. Imagine being named after what was probably the worst person to have your job ever. If I walked into a therapy office and he introduced himself as Dr. Frued? Or my dentist said his name was Orin? I’d riot. The man’s name is synonymous with flawed reasoning and illogical systems of Justice. I’m understanding why England’s ruling class retired the name “John”.

Odds are that they didn’t SEE that version because that’s not how the site works. Nobody’s going to go sifting through hundreds of reblogs of a post to hunt down the one that OP is saying “reblog this version” under.
