i have been thinking about @mrfrillypants's super paper mario-deltarune stuff nonstop for the past couple days... i HAD to draw it...

credit for the tenna design & overall concept goes to them!!! though, their concept got my brain working so much, i started thinking about some designs of my own:

i love the pippins and thought they would fit really well with the geometric artstyle, and i feel like jevil just stealing dimentio's swag is kind of a given. i have a tooon of thoughts about this concept and had a lot of fun with these, so look out for more... LOL

Okay, but jokes aside. I really don't want any drama or harassment or anything like that, but it genuinely baffles me how many times I've seen blatant whitewashing for this game. Thankfully its not as bad as in other fandoms, but the number of these things should be straight up zero.

How do you come into a game whose entire identity is built upon most of the characters being poc and then throw it all out of the window? Gacha games are right there for you if you wish to draw light-skinned person number 387635.

Worst is that many folks who do it are clearly skilled artists who could execute it perfectly if they just gave a bit more care. It's not hard to color pick, I promise. (And in this specific case, it goes even beyond the color of the skin - why would you straighten out a character's hair when it's clearly textured?)
