First roll of Medium Format in DTLA. My journey of re-discovering film has led me to Medium Format after the acquisition of a ‘90s era Fuji GA645 120 film camera.

Going back to the past… FILM. It has been almost 12 years since I shot film and close to 25 years since I had manual focus. Loaded up an old Nikon FG with Ilford xp2 and a Voightlander Leica lens rangefinder with Fuji Velvia and hit Venice. Nailed focus with Nikon 100%. Major fail with rangefinder… 50% focus failure rate. Got a few solid pictures though and had fun “slowing down” the photographic process.
