Recently I’ve gotten into making my own fermented sodas with a ginger bug. It’s pretty simple and my daughter and I have been doing a time of experimenting with different flavors. Our favorite part is watching the soda fizz out and explode 😂

So far we’ve made orange, pineapple, plum and watermelon mint 🥤

What I made this week

Salmon croquettes! I mixed this up during lunchtime and cooked them up after we got home from the gym that evening for a quick dinner.

Made some more simple syrup and sweet tea 🫙

Coconut date bites! A super quick snack that takes some like 10 minutes for me to throw in the blender and roll into balls.

Sourdough blueberry and chia muffins 🍞

These will be gone in like 3 days 😂 I accidentally put the oven on 450 instead of 350 so they are a little dark on the bottom 😅

I finished read The Spell Shop and How To Summon A Fairy Godmother. These both were so good stayed up all night reading How To Summon A Fairy Godmother. I can’t wait to read book 2 for each 📚

Salmon Croquettes for dinner! My daughter who is notorious for not eating dinner had like 4 🤩

Made strawberry 🍓 mojitos with mint from our garden and and my husband’s homemade strawberry syrup🥃

My little fawn friend has been coming to visit pretty often. Probably just to steal from my garden but whatever 💁🏾‍♀️😂

Weekly Roundup 🌿

My planner spread for the week! I decided I’m getting back into bullet journaling for over the summer since I’ll have more free time

Made some more bread because my daughter is obsessed with it 😂 Bought a bread box and my loaves don’t fit inside so I had to cut them in half😭

Worked on my crochet skirt and made s’mores.

What I made this week!

Chai Spice Cake 🍰 I don’t bake cakes very often but this turned out so good! Chai is my favorite kind of tea so I loved combining these flavors into a cake.

Fruit rolls/ fruit leather

Super easy! I just tossed some fruit close to going bad into a blender with lemon juice and honey and popped the purée into my dehydrator.

Pineapple skin tea 🍵

I like to call this my kitchen sink tea. I really just toss pineapple skins and cores and any other complimenting fruits, herbs and spices. It looks and tastes different every week lol. This weeks special additions are Sorrel and mamaki tea from Hawaii.

Sourdough herb crackers cut into fun shapes! These did not last long 😂
