Seto had been standing in the same spot for a good while now, and probably stuck out like a sore thumb for doing so. Really, he was probably the one person most fascinated to see such a sight, and not even for the place alone. Sooner or later he’ll come to, it was just such a surprise. And speaking of surprises, Seto was not expecting for someone to creep up behind him, and he was certainly not expecting to hear that voice which sounded so familiar.
Is it really….?
"C-Crow?"
It was him.. he was really here. But that made no sense, last time Seto recalled, he—…
A long moment passed whilst Seto simply stared in surprise at the robot. Really, there were often moments when he’d forget Crow was even a robot. Not that he saw much difference, after all, it wouldn’t change the fact that he was and always will be Seto’s number one buddy. It made no sense, but alas, Seto didn’t really want it to make sense. Crow was here, and that’s whats most important. To see him walking and talking once again.. it was as if nothing had ever happened. Really, this place must be a miracle.
"You’re really here—! My best friend." A goofy grin was given back, he was even more happy now. Ecstatic!
"I’m so glad you’re back.."
"What did I tell you? Friends always see each other again." He declares this confidently, as if he'd always known they would meet again, even though they both knew it was nothing short of a miracle that brought them here together. There is nothing at all robotic about his expression as he grins, excited as any human could be to be reunited with their friend.
"So tell me, what did you do while I was stuck in this place? Did you find that girl you were looking for? You kept that ring I gave you, right?" Crow immediately starts to interrogate Seto, but compared to when they first met, his tone lacked the demanding attitude. Without waiting for an answer, he dives right on ahead. "This place isn't half bad, you know. There's parties and fireworks and water balloon fights. People, too. Who knew they'd all end up here?" It was unbelievable. More humans filled the street than he could count. It was strange to see them everywhere, but without them, he wouldn't have gotten the chance to experience their games and social events.
SENSE ★F WONDER / ca open
★ The stars in the night sky above Sector 006 were always the most beautiful at night - in no other place in the city had Wendy been able to observe them with the most clarity. Light and air pollution played a great role in obscuring the wonders of the sky, and the latter added a layer of difficulty for Wendy in particular. As a wielder of Sky magic, despite most of those abilities being taken, she was still extremely sensitive to air quality. If she even went near Sector 002, the Industrial Sector, she’d start feeling physically ill.
But this was why she was glad she lived in the green sector: a place full of parks and trees, where she could enjoy evenings like these. It was far enough away from the more dangerous sectors that she felt comfortable going out at night as well. All in all, 006 was the perfect place for a child Sky Dragon Slayer to call home.
Sprawled out in the grass midst one of the parks close to her apartment building, brown optics stared contently up at the night sky. A cool breeze blew over the hill, bringing blue strands of hair to tickle her face. As if to make things ever more wonderful, fireworks begun to light up the sky unexpectedly. Radiant reds, beautiful blues, gorgeous greens - they all served to widen the smile on the mage’s face.
At the sound of approaching footsteps, however, Wendy brought herself up to a sitting position. "Hello! Are you enjoying the fireworks as well?" It was an innocent question, much like most of her questions tended to be.
Out on one of his nightly escapades, his cat-like eyes turned towards the sky as the first flare whistled through the air, cutting the silence like a knife. Crow knew what fireworks were; he'd read about them in the books left behind by civilization, but those images and descriptions paled in comparison to seeing them in person. One after another, the fireworks bloomed in the sky like flowers, filling the darkness with a brilliant array of colors reflected in his mesmerized eyes.
He climbed atop a tree for a better view and watched for a few minutes before a sudden thought crept to his mind. Swinging himself to the ground with ease, Crow started towards the direction of the fireworks. His attention still transfixed on the sky, he nearly tripped over the girl in the park. Crow spun to the side, regaining his balance but not without exclaiming rudely. "Hey- geez, I almost stepped on you! What were you doing getting in my way?" As if he wasn't the one at fault for almost falling on her. But as soon as she asked about the fireworks, he blinked, distracted.
"Yeah, I was going to find who's setting them off. You know how these fireworks work, huh?" He questioned her as he circled the girl, peering at her with narrowed eyes. Abruptly, his face broke into an almost childish grin. "Then you're coming with me. I could use an assistant because we're going to set some off ourselves!" Crow spoke as if this was already decided, oblivious to whether that was something she wanted to do or not.
Give my muse an item and see how they react.
☪ Heaven
A machine couldn’t possibly ascend to the afterlife… could it?
When they died — ran out of batteries, she meant — that was the end. A darkness, an emptiness, a silence. She would not be greeted by a chorus of angels, embraced by her loved one nor given the form of a human to embrace them back.
And yet here she was.
Though her appearance was disheveled and her clothing tattered, she had a humanoid body. Not only that but when she stepped outside of that strange white room she was greeted by a sight she never thought she’d see. One that she only dreamed of: Crowds of humans.
Hundreds. Possibly thousands!
Wherein back in her world, she was lucky enough to meet Seto and the soldier who had abandoned her before their ways were parted. Humanity was near extinct, a precious treasure that would soon return to the earth, it’s richness forever hidden.
PF was happy. Happy that another startling event began to occur — she began to cry.
"This is… all I have ever wanted."
What should she do? What would be first? So many decisions, so many opportunities that now presented themselves.
PF decided on something simple. Quite simple.
She took the hand of the person closest to her and pulled them into a tight hug.
"Hello. I am.. hic… a Personal Frame…
And I am the luckiest person to have met you."
"Hey-- let go of me!"
Crow's first instinct was to struggle. His limbs automatically moved to disentangle himself from the stranger, calming down only when he realized the person grabbing him wasn't the furious store owner he'd snatched a shiny watch from earlier.
However, there was something about this female that struck him as odd. Crow didn't really get what she meant by lucky, but he took that as a compliment to pat his ego, and rounded on her anyway.
"Personal Frame? Really. What kinda lame name is that?" Now that he has his bearings again, his tone is boastful, mocking. He circled the stranger, observing her through narrowed eyes. That was when he noticed her eyes were brimming with tears.
She was crying. If he had to be honest, he was kind of jealous. The puzzling thing was, he couldn't figure out why she was so sad. Especially when she had sounded so happy. Unless....it was about the comment he'd just made?
"C'mon, is that really something to cry about? I, uh...didn't really mean that." He finished lamely, for lack of skill in handling social situations with any delicacy.

Well, this was definitely not home. As if Seto really had a home to claim. Did that lab really count? Perhaps.
At first he woke up in a white room, and secondly was greeted to a screen. Seeing scientists talk of experiments.. well, that was all too familiar now, wasn’t it? Not that Seto would particularly mind, because there was only one thing important to him. And that was whether this place had any civilization or not. And by the sounds of it, there were. He was quick to rushing out, patting his pockets for his flashlight—-
He didn’t have it.
Frantically the small boy searched, but all he could find equipped was his Bamboo Sword. Was that.. it..? Okay, it wasn’t dark, but he felt safer with his flashlight. He had a room, but what if he was left out in the dark? Assuming that wild rabid dogs and malicious crows would still be around. And as for the thoughts and entities? He wouldn’t doubt it.
Seto stepped out into the harsh sun, shining down on the liveliest crowd he’d ever seen. With his mouth agape, the boy could only stare in awe at the place around him. Was this.. real.? Was he completely sure it wasn’t a dream? A pinch to check.
Yup, he’s awake.
And finally, he’d found other people. Perhaps this wasn’t so bad after all.
Humans, when they were around, were a curious bunch whose actions he couldn't always process. Crow was observing people coming and going from atop a roof, but nothing about the passersby really caught his interest today. He was feeling restless when his eyes landed on a young boy looking around as if he couldn't believe his eyes.
It was Seto! He was on his feet in a flash. Crow couldn't help the grin that spread on his face at the sight of his number one buddy and the first friend he'd ever made. Not that he'd admit it, but Crow had kind of missed him. Since waking up in Hive City, he had often wondered what Seto was doing and whether he ever found the girl he was looking for. Now that he was here, he couldn't wait to show his buddy around the city and share the neat places he'd found.
Seto was the one who told him that it didn't matter whether he was human or not, they would still be friends. It had comforted him in his final moments, at the end of his search when he realized he'd end up abandoned like the other dolls around him. But that hadn't been true. Even if he wasn't human, no other machine had a friend like Seto to call his number one buddy.
Instead of approaching him right away, however, Crow snuck up to Seto from behind, throwing his arms around him in a headlock. Wouldn't Seto be surprised to see him!
"Well, look who it is! It's about time you showed up, Seto! Guess who's back?"

Ask the character/mun: Ask the muse whatever you want for them to answer IC; or ask the mun a personal question to get to know better or to get an OOC answer [although we would like to keep these at a minimum]!
Truth/Dare: Be reasonable with the dares! If you start getting ridiculous no one will want to do them; characters aren’t really obligated to do all the dares they receive. Don’t forget about the truth part as well!
Situation: Give the character another character or characters, a place and a reason in order to create some interesting thread ideas (if both parties are willing to do it that is)! For example: You could send an ask to Ventus saying: “Roxas, Sector oo6, clothes shopping”.
Headcanon: Anons send the character a word, or a name and you may write a small/long headcanon about said word!
Drabbles: Give the muse a prompt and they may write a short drabble on it.
So many new opens lately! Time to pick up new threads.
If anyone would like to thread with any one of my muses in particular (Elliot, Clementine, and Crow) just drop me a note~

He had examined sector oo2 throughly, found his apartment, and gathered a fair amount of information pertaining to the enigmatic land they called ‘Hive City’, and even then Hubert was not satisfied.
It was inevitable, really. What with his apartment and sector being the repulsive and lacking place that it was, and the information he received made little sense, too. Not to mention that, although he’d been supplied with a weapon, it was far from reassuring. In fact, until now it never crossed his mind that such a pitiful piece of wood was deserving to be called a weapon.
In his eyes, it still didn’t deserve to be referred to as such.
The wooden hilt felt foreign in his grip, as the young lieutenant absently swung the blade vertically, horizontally, diagonally, attempting to gain some sort of feel for the poor excuse of a weapon. It wasn’t as if he’d never wielded a sword before—or something so piteous and wooden, either, but much time had passed since those days, and he was more than accustomed to his dualblade, after all.
Hubert flashed a sardonic grin, shook his head, and, letting his arm fall to his side, he resumed his treck through the new and unfamiliar sector. oo5, to be exact. He’d caught wind of the many shops and vendors and countless wares this sector had to offer, and, upon even the most cursory of examinations, he found that this area might have the potential to meet his expectations. Might.
The sole intent of this shopping trip was to fit himself with a newer, much more durable weapon, if it were possible—which it should be. One of these shops had to carry weapons, and that was the bare minimum. There could be more, for all he knew.
While glancing over the the many buildings, he soon took note of the fact that his hand no longer maintained its grip on the wooden sword, and it had been lost in the crowd. As he was currently unable to find the store he sought, he began to accept the notion that maybe, such a place didn’t exist in Hive City, and, if that were the case, that ‘sword’ would be his only form of self-defence. Letting an exasperated sigh escape him, Hubert began to retrace his steps, hoping, praying, that no harm had come to it—
—SNAP.
Dammit.
Habitually, Hubert adjusted his glasses, gaze rapidly scanning the ground, finally settling on the sword, now snapped in two, and the supposed culprit standing nearby. Without wasting another moment, the young man strode towards the stranger, with arms folded tightly across his chest and a scowl upon his face.
“You—! Do you have any idea of what you’ve just done?! You have destroyed a vital piece of equipment!”
What luck! In one of his excursions into the busy streets of the city, Crow stumbled upon a nice looking wooden sword on the ground. The people walking by didn't even give it a second glance, well too bad for them, because he took this opportunity to swoop in and snatch the abandoned weapon for himself. A smile crept to his face as he examined his find. There was only one thing to do with a sword!
Crow began swinging the wooden blade around like he'd watched some citizens do. Up, down, slice, thrust, he went through the motions with full force, his surroundings lost to him as he immersed himself in the battle. It was like being a real swashbuckling pirate! Fighting one of those duels he read about in books.
He spun around, getting more comfortable with the blade and even adding in a flourish for show. Whirling the blade over his head, Crow cracked it over his opponent-- a fierce looking oak tree. SNAP! One half of the blade clattered to the ground, with his hand still gripping the bottom half that was now splintered. What? It broke already? That was so lame.
This was about the time a stranger marched up to him and started yelling at him for some reason. Humans were so quick to get angry over things that weren't a big deal. The guy was saying something about a vital piece of equipment. Crow glanced from the man to the oak tree and to the broken sword, finally understanding.
“What, you mean this thing?" He raised the broken end still in his hands, waving it around. "I don't know what you're going to do with this piece of wood now. Besides, I found it over there so hey, don't give me that look. Finders keepers, losers weepers, don't you know? You're pretty lucky I'm giving this back to you." With that, he handed over the broken wooden blade to the angry looking stranger as if that would pacify him.
┌She was almost out of balloons when he spoke. She paused to stare over her shoulder.┘
“Almost.”
┌When the balloon hit her she couldn’t help but start laughing feeling the back of her shirt getting soaked through. Well she threw the first balloon so she shouldn’t be surprised to get a little wet in retaliation.┘
"Gotcha! ....ah, geez. I should have picked up more balloons."
[Unfortunately, he's all out of artillery and it's his turn to run away now. Crow does a flip backwards, landing neatly on his feet facing the other direction]
"Hah, catch me if you can~"

Sunday was a very strange day. People acted much differently than they normally would have. That was Nyu’s observation, anyway. Everyone was going around hitting each other, kissing each other, asking strange questions… It didn’t seem like anything too bad! Kouta wouldn’t think too badly of her if she participated, right?
The smiling mutant was told to steal three articles of clothing from three different people… That would certainly be a little tricky. Nyu’s best bet was to see how many people were at the park, and then go about her ordered mischief there. Things that seemed the easiest to take were the girl’s preferred targets. As she walked around, people gave her strange looks… Mostly directed at her horns, anyway.
And thus, an idea.
“Hmm… Oh!”
Taking off into a run, the mutant headed for one person and snagged their hat. Another, their glasses. The last, one of their shoes. Don’t ask how she did it. Her childish charm is all she needs. All that you need to know is that there’s a pink haired girl with a mismatched hat, some odd glasses, and only one shoe running around a park.
So, who are you? Are you watching from a distance, wondering what was wrong with her? Or are you trying to get back something she stole?
Crow spun on his heels as he felt his hat being whipped off his head at the hands of a stranger darting past. Usually he was the one who stole things from people, not the other way around.
"Hey you! Gimme that back!"
His hat was one of the first things he'd found and made his own since he learned the concept of ownership. It was part of the strange awesome outfit he'd picked out for himself, and it wouldn't be complete without it. Crow was fast on his feet and the girl would have to run quickly if she was going to escape.
"What's the big idea, huh? Oh, I know. You want my hat's cause it's pretty cool, but you can't have it! Get your own hat 'cause I'm taking mine back!"
Send me some dares, maybe?
Not so Super Soldier
The City was buzzing with festive gaiety, but none of that merriment was to be enjoyed by Allelujah who’d elected not to partake. Excuse him if his confinement at the mercy of yet another batch of morally corrupted scientists hadn’t elicited any inflamed desires for celebration. Were the rest of his comrades being held captive as well, and what of Marie? A sharp pang of grief cramped within his chest as his thoughts drifted to the ivory haired woman, morosely dragging his feet until he’d located Sector 002.
Just as it’d looked like events couldn’t deteriorate further from here, Allelujah arrived at the mouth of District Beta’s perimeter. Expression collapsing into despair when it became apparent that he would be expected to lodge inside….a cardboard box, damaged and sodden by the elements and barely holding together.
{“Find the bastards, kill all of them!”}
“I won’t.”
{“Then break into an apartment and stay there!”}
Ignoring his less amiable persona’s hostile suggestions, the pilot shifted a disheartened sigh. Others were suffering too, and he was not going to tarnish his principles by adopting contemptible means to advance his comforts. Instead, he spent the following hour rummaging through dumpsters and harvesting any still salvageable materials. Not long after, Allelujah had succeeded in constructing a slightly sturdier frame over his box– providing extra insulation and stability from adverse weather, if little else.
Using the dregs of his gathering to fuel a log fire after his grimy labouring, absorbed by its glowing embers, he was tardy in noticing a second presence approaching. Compassionate to a fault, he greeted the intruder with a gentle smile, amicably gesturing towards the fire.
“You’re welcome to join, if you want.”
{“You’re soft,Allelujah.”}
It's not unusual for Crow to be wandering around the sectors after dark, exploring the unexplored corners of the city. He feels more at home in the quiet, desolate outer districts than under the glaring lights of the metropolitan streets. Tonight, his wanderings have brought him to the run-down neighborhood of District Beta. True to his name, Crow likes collecting the odd things that he finds around-- old books, watches, toys, and other items that humans have left behind. Apparently he isn't the only one, because there's another person also rummaging through the dumpster.
He doesn't approach at first, instead watching the man at a distance as he goes through the trash. Everything he picks up looks uninteresting to Crow, but he finally understands when the man starts to patch up a box home with the material.
Crow is about to slip away to continue on his own search when the light of a fire catches his attention. He finds himself closing in, watching as the stranger nurtures the spark into a steady flame. He thinks he's being quiet and stealthy so he's taken by surprise when the man turns to speak to him.
"Nah, I'm just passing through," he says quickly, putting on an air of nonchalance. "It doesn't look like there's much to do in your shabby box, anyway. What were you gonna do out here?"
┌Was it really beginner’s luck? then again, he may’ve just let her hit him. Either way. The girl was running away. Stopping only every few moments to turn and throw one of her other balloons at the stranger.┘
"Is that all you've got?"
[He dodges an incoming balloon and takes aim at the girl's back. It's his first time playing this human game and he's enjoying it]
wisdomofachild said: “Really?” She smiled and little. Before realizing that he might throw one back at her. She let out a little squeak at the thought and started to make her escape.
"That was just beginner's luck! You won't catch me off guard a second time!"
[Crow gives chase, missing his first few balloons but his accuracy is getting better with each throw]
Since you said you were in. The girl chuckled and threw a balloon at the stranger. "Look out~" She called only after she'd thrown it.
“Wha—?” [Hit with a balloon! He shakes water out of his hair and grins]
“That’s just because you took me by surprise. You won’t get lucky a second time!”
[Better run, because he’s going to toss one back at ya]
"A water balloon fight? All you gotta do is chuck those things at other people, right? Easy. Count me in!"
