The lizard returns from his art cave to bring you the launch of my Gumroad store! These lil guys are available as a cosmetic add-on to the lovely Denny VRchat avatar.

Had a blast and a half learning Substance Painter for this project. Completely boggles my mind how much crossed over from other art programs like Illustrator and Photoshop (or Affinity Designer, now that I've migrated away from using most Adobe software). It's surprisingly intuitive, using the Pen tool to place anchor points along the model's surface.

My local library has a digital den that gives you access to 3D printing, button making, laminating, paper craft and a TON of design software completely for free. None of the equipment can leave the building, but you can use any of it for free when they're open - which is so rad!! I owe them big time for letting me use Substance Painter bc no way would I be able to afford the subscription for it.

I had loads of fun setting Sheltie up in Unity for these pictures. Used:

Also that you're half-arsing it. You either couldn't be bothered to, or were unable to, employ an artist to showcase your product. Why would anyone trust that you have competently made your product.

AI advertising automatically makes your product look like a scam because we're flooded with scams that put zero budget into advertising (because the profit margin on any given scam is likely to be razor-thin and the goal is scam volume as automated as possible). If you won't invest a moderate amount in advertising, people will assume that either you don't know what you're doing, you don't care about what you're doing, you don't believe in what you're doing, or you're deliberately trying to scam people.

Gator Dragon Fursona - August, 2025

Got hit with an explosion of ‘fat people and big bellies are hot’ posts this month. They got me thinkin “y’know what? I deserve to have a sona that actually looks like me. The deer’s a twink, and honey? Look in the mirror - you’re a bear.”

Sat my ass in front of a mirror and had myself a serious think about my body. A lot has changed about it in since starting HRT. I should be celebrating things I like about myself- highlight that stuff!

This reference sheet took me 50+ hours to complete, and I couldn’t be prouder.
